An exemplary method of manufacturing a cementitious panel includes conveying a slurry of cementitious core material and a plurality of sheets of facing material, applying a radiation-curable adhesive to at least one of the sheets of facing material, forming a continuous length of cementitious panel material, at least partly curing the radiation-curable adhesive with one or more beams of radiation emitting from one or more radiation-emitting devices, and cutting the continuous length of cementitious panel material laterally to a desired length, providing a cementitious panel.

MULTILAYER MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
20180345642 · 2018-12-06 ·

A multilayer material is disclosed which consists of polyethylene foam sandwiched between two external layers of high-density polyethylene. A two-step manufacturing process for forming such a multilayer material is disclosed, which consists of (1) thermal bonding of a roll stock of PE foam with a roll stock of HDPE/LDPE laminate, followed by cutting into composites, and (2) thermal bonding of two composites to form a multilayer material.

Method for producing fuel cell membrane electrode assembly

To provide a method for producing a fuel cell membrane electrode assembly that can prevent the required catalyst layer from being removed, while suppressing damage to the electrolyte membrane. A method for producing a fuel cell membrane electrode assembly MEA includes: a step of bonding a polymer electrolyte membrane PEM and a first catalyst layer-including substrate GDE1; a step of making a cut CL so that the first catalyst layer-including substrate GDE bonded with the polymer electrolyte membrane PEM becomes a predetermined shape; a step of peeling an unwanted portion GDE12 of the first catalyst layer-including substrate GDE1 from the polymer electrolyte membrane PEM; a step of irradiating a laser beam LB2 penetrating the polymer electrolyte membrane PEM without penetrating the first catalyst layer-including substrate GDE1 onto the polymer electrolyte membrane PEM, and removing residue RD of the first catalyst layer-including substrate GDE1 adhering on the polymer electrolyte membrane PEM.

LAMP SHADE, ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A SHADE AND A SHADE-SUPPORTING STRUCTURE, LAMP, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF A LAMP SHADE
20180340670 · 2018-11-29 · ·

The lamp shade is formed by a hollow enveloping body with laminar structure closed on itself. In an operative position it is assembled on a support structure and extends laterally around a light source, configuring an upper opening and a lower opening. The enveloping body comprises an exterior face and an interior face relatively rigid in the vertical direction and relatively flexible in the horizontal direction, the vertical direction being that which goes from the upper opening to the lower opening. The interior face comprises at least one corrugated surface portion vertically and at least one perimeter channel (6) perpendicular to the corrugations of the at least one portion for coupling the shade to the support structure.

BONDLINE CONTROL ADHESIVE SPACER

Disclosed herein is a method of bonding a first part to a second part to form an assembly. The method includes positioning a plurality of adhesive spacers between the first part and the second part. Each adhesive spacer is made of a first curable adhesive in a cured state. The method further includes positioning at least one adhesive layer between the plurality of adhesive spacers and the first part and between the plurality of adhesive spacers and the second part. Each adhesive layer is made of the same first curable adhesive as the plurality of adhesive spacers, but in a non-cured state. The method further includes with the plurality of adhesive spacers between the first part, the second part, and the adhesive layers, curing the first part, the second part, and the adhesive layers.

Method for producing fuel cell membrane electrode assembly

A method for producing a fuel cell membrane electrode assembly includes: a step of bonding a polymer electrolyte membrane and a first catalyst layer-including substrate; a step of making a cut by way of a laser beam so that the first catalyst layer-including substrate bonded with the polymer electrolyte membrane becomes a predetermined shape; a step of peeling an unwanted portion of the first catalyst layer-including substrate from the polymer electrolyte membrane; and a step of forming a second catalyst layer on the other face of the polymer electrolyte membrane, and punching out the polymer electrolyte membrane and second catalyst layer so that the first catalyst layer-including substrate of the predetermined shape bonded on one face is surrounded, in which the laser beam has a wavelength that penetrates the polymer electrolyte membrane without penetrating the first catalyst layer-including substrate.
