METHOD TO PRODUCE A PAPERBOARD, A PAPERBOARD AND A CORRUGATED BOARD
20220372706 · 2022-11-24 · ·

A method for producing a paperboard comprising the steps of; providing a furnish comprising cellulosic fibers, applying the furnish on at least one wire to form a web, dewatering the web on said at least one wire by subjecting the web to a pressure above 150 kPa without the use of a press roll nip and thereafter pressing the dewatered web to form a paperboard. Also a paperboard and a corrugated board produced by such a process.

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD, CORRUGATED BOX, AND METHOD FOR PACKAGING A WET PRODUCT

A corrugated cardboard includes a first cellulosic fibered linerboard layer treated with a wet strength agent, a second cellulosic fibered linerboard layer, and a non-wicking corrugating medium attached to and disposed between the first cellulosic fibered linerboard layer and the second cellulosic fibered linerboard layer.

ANTIREFLECTION FILM AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME, AND OPTICAL MEMBER

An antireflection film includes an uneven structure layer that has an uneven structure and has an alumina hydrate as a main component, and an intermediate layer that is disposed between the uneven structure layer and a substrate. The uneven structure layer has a spatial frequency peak value of the uneven structure of 8.5 or greater and has a film thickness of 200-250 nm, and the intermediate layer comprises a plurality of layers including at least a first layer, a second layer, a third layer, and a fourth layer.

Soft, low lint, through air dried tissue and method of forming the same

A multi-ply through air dried structured tissue having a bulk softness of less than 10 TS7 and a lint value of 5.0 or less. Each ply of the tissue has a first exterior layer that includes a wet end temporary wet strength additive in an amount of approximately 0.25 kg/ton and a wet end dry strength additive in an amount of approximately 0.25 kg/ton, an interior layer that includes a first wet end additive comprising an ionic surfactant, and a second wet end additive comprising a non-ionic surfactant, and a second exterior layer.

NON-FLAMMABLE LAMINATE
20170328063 · 2017-11-16 ·

The invention relates to a laminate, in particular for manufacturing a construction panel, consisting of a combination of at least one carrier material layer made of a non-flammable non-woven impregnated with a resin and at least one decorative material layer made of a decorative paper that is impregnated with a melamine formaldehyde resin and is optionally dyed and/or printed. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a disclosed laminate and especially a construction panel.

WATER-RESISTANT MINERAL-COATED CELLULOSE-BASED SUBSTRATE
20230167609 · 2023-06-01 · ·

The present invention relates to a water-resistant mineral-coated cellulose-based substrate, comprising a cellulose-based substrate, and a mineral-coating layer disposed on at least one surface of said substrate, said mineral coating comprising 50-95 wt % of a particulate mineral and 5-50 wt % of a water-dispersible binder based on the total dry weight of the mineral coating, and wherein said mineral-coating layer has been subjected to grafting with a fatty acid halide. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing the water-resistant mineral-coated cellulose-based substrate.

INSULATION PRODUCTS AND METHODS AND MACHINES FOR MAKING INSULATION PRODUCTS

The presently disclosed subject matter generally relates to recyclable insulation material for shipping containers, groceries bags, etc., machines for making the recyclable insulation material, and methods for the making the recyclable insulation material. In one aspect, a method of forming an insulation product may include forming a continuous sheet of paper into a plurality of flexible loops defining a plurality of air channels extending in a direction that is substantially perpendicular with a machine direction of the continuous sheet of paper. The method may also include immediately attaching a first layer of paper and a second layer of paper to the plurality of flexible loops as they are formed so that the continuous sheet of paper retains the plurality of flexible loops between the first layer and the second layer and that the plurality of flexible loops remain unattached with respect to one another.

Protective products, such as envelopes, having a unique combination of interior padding of expanded slit sheet paper and exterior lining of embossed paper
11261016 · 2022-03-01 ·

A protective product, such as, e.g., an envelope or pouch, is provided that includes at least one expanded slit paper sheet in an expanded state, and an embossed paper sheet facing the expanded slit paper sheet and fixed to the expanded slit paper sheet along at least a portion of a length in an expansion direction of the expanded slit sheet paper. In the preferred embodiments, the embossed paper sheet has a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of the embossed paper sheet, thereby inhibiting deformation of the embossed paper sheet that is fixed to the expanded slit sheet paper.
