COMPOSTABLE LAMINATE STRUCTURE
A compostable laminate for food wrap and method for making same. The wrap can include a first layer of paper material, a second layer of paper material, and a series of coatings between the paper materials. The coatings include a first flood coating having water and/or barrier properties, a second flood coating having water and/or oil barrier properties, and a third coating that only partially covers the second flood coating. None of the first, second and third coatings comprise a thermoplastic or polyolefin, and are made substantially from one or more biodegradable and/or compostable materials.
SOFT, LOW LINT, THROUGH AIR DRIED TISSUE AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
A multi-ply through air dried structured tissue having a bulk softness of less than 10 TS7 and a lint value of 5.0 or less. Each ply of the tissue has a first exterior layer that includes a wet end temporary wet strength additive in an amount of approximately 0.25 kg/ton and a wet end dry strength additive in an amount of approximately 0.25 kg/ton, an interior layer that includes a first wet end additive comprising an ionic surfactant, and a second wet end additive comprising a non-ionic surfactant, and a second exterior layer.
AIR-PERMEABLE ADHESIVE SHEET AND BREATHABLE PRODUCT
An air-permeable adhesive sheet has air permeability in a thickness direction thereof and including an adhesive agent layer having first through holes extending in the thickness direction, wherein at least one surface of the adhesive agent layer forms an adhesive surface, the through holes have an average opening diameter of 1.0 to 50 μm and an average interval of 5 to 400 μm, and a variation in air permeability in the thickness direction is 22% or less as represented by a coefficient of variation of an air permeability measured according to Method B for air permeability measurement (Gurley method) specified in JIS L 1096: 2010, with an effective measurement area as a predetermined value selected from 0.5 to 2.0 mm.sup.2. The air-permeable adhesive sheet is a sheet capable of obtaining good characteristics such as air permeability even when being made into a sheet having a small area.
CURABLE SILICONE COMPOSITION, RELEASE COATING AGENT COMPRISING SAID COMPOSITION, RELEASE FILM OBTAINED USING SAID RELEASE COATING AGENT, AND LAYERED PRODUCT INCLUDING SAID RELEASE FILM
Provided is a curable silicone composition for a release agent which can release a release film from a silicone adhesive with low release force without reducing the adhesive strength of the silicone adhesive to other substrates upon releasing the release film. A release film or laminate having the small release force of the silicone adhesive is also provided. The curable silicone composition comprises: (A) a mixture of two or more fluoroalkyl group-containing organopolysiloxanes having a fluoroalkyl group and at least two alkenyl groups per molecule, wherein the contents of the fluoroalkyl groups differ from each other, and the two or more fluoroalkyl group-containing organopolysiloxanes are a combination of those which are not completely compatibilized at 25° C. when mixed in the absence of a solvent; (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least three silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; (C) an effective amount of a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; and (D) an organic solvent.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A FACING FOR A BOARD PRODUCT WITH STRATEGICALLY PLACED SCORES
A system and method for producing a board product made from paper products that have a pre-scored facing in addition to a medium (sometimes called fluting). Conventional corrugated board may feature a cross-corrugated medium and one or more facing that have no score lines that are impressed (at least prior to assembly with the corrugated medium). Such a conventional board product may be inferior because any score lines that are impressed will damage the underlying corrugated medium in some manner. A breakdown in the strength of the underlying medium leads to poor precision when the eventual board product is scored, cut, and folded. A lack of precision in folding a board product leads to gap variation and fishtailing as any articulated portion of the board product may not maintain a precise plane of articulation when folded.
Hygienic thin-leaf paper
A hygienic thin-leaf paper including a first sheet having front and back surfaces, on which embossed protrusions and embossed recesses corresponding to the embossed protrusions are respectively formed; and a second sheet having front and back surfaces, on which embossed protrusions and embossed recesses corresponding to the embossed protrusions are respectively formed, wherein the first sheet and the second sheet are integrated by facing the surfaces formed with the embossed protrusions in a nested form, wherein each of the first sheet and the second sheet have an embossed portion, on which the embossed protrusions and non-embossed-protrusion portions are formed, wherein at least one of the first sheet and the second sheets have a non-embossed portion, on which the embossed protrusions and the non-embossed portions are not formed, and wherein the non-embossed portion is in a shape without having an intersection.
WINDING RESISTANT CARDBOARD
This invention is related to a winding resistant cardboard, which mainly has at least one support unit and at least one carrying unit. The support unit has a cross section in a rectangular shape lacking one side to form an opening laterally disposed to face the at least one carrying unit. The carrying unit is formed by a plurality of corrugated boards disposed vertically and bound abreast. The support unit is formed by a plurality of stacked cardboards bound and pressed together to provide winding resistant function like beams and columns. The good pressure bearing strength of the support unit formed by a plurality of corrugated boards disposed vertically and attached abreast also help the winding resistant cardboard not to be bent and deformed under a heavy weight. Accordingly, the safety of the winding resistant cardboard as a building material or a packaging material can be elevated.
ATHLETIC GEAR OR OTHER WEARABLE ARTICLES COMPRISING AN EXPANDABLE USER-ENGAGING STRUCTURE
A wearable article such as an article of athletic gear (e.g., a skate, an article of protective athletic equipment such as a helmet, etc.) wearable by a user and comprising an expandable user-engaging structure that is configured to be expanded (e.g., by heat or another stimulus) after manufacturing of the wearable article to conform it to the user or otherwise improve a fit of the wearable article on the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTI-LAYERED BOARD HAVING A CORRUGATED MEDIUM AND AN EMBOSSED MEDIUM
A system and method for producing a board product characterized by having at least one corrugated medium and at least one embossed medium in the board product. The board product may further include one or more facings that are adhesively coupled to either the corrugated medium, the embossed medium, or both. Generally speaking, a corrugated medium may be characterized as a paper product that exhibits flutes induced by a cross-corrugating process such that the induced flutes are perpendicular (or at least not congruent) with the machine direction of the paper product. An embossed medium may be characterized as a paper product that exhibits flutes induced by a linear-embossing process such that the induced flutes are aligned with the machine direction of the paper product. A resultant board product is stronger and more efficiently produced because of the linearly-embossed medium harnessing the natural strength of the paper in the machine direction.
Melamine decorative laminated sheet
A melamine decorative laminated sheet has a melamine resin layer and a low refractive index layer which is formed upper than the melamine resin layer and has a lower refractive index than a refractive index of the melamine resin layer.
