Method for producing at least one ash-forming means for a particulate filter of an exhaust gas system of a gasoline engine
A method is provided for producing at least one ash-forming element (1) for a particulate filter of an exhaust gas system of a gasoline engine or diesel engine. The method includes providing of a strip-shaped center layer (3), and making receiving holes (6) in the center layer (3). The method continues by providing of a strip-shaped bottom layer (4), and permanently connecting of the bottom layer (4) to the center layer (3). The method proceeds by filling the receiving holes (6) of the center layer (3) with ash-forming components (2), providing a strip-shaped top layer (5), and permanently connecting the top layer (5) to the center layer (3). The method then includes punching out of at least one ash-forming means (1) from the wafer, and making throughflow openings (7) in regions where there are no ash-forming components (2).
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BOBBIN COMPRISING ALKALOIDS CONTAINING MATERIAL
The invention relates to a method for producing a bobbin comprising a plurality of wounds of a laminated sheet, the method comprising the steps of: providing a continuous sheet of alkaloids containing material having a free surface; providing a continuous sheet of a first protective material having a free surface; adhering the free surface of the continuous sheet of the first protective material to the free surface of the continuous sheet of alkaloids containing material to form a continuous laminated sheet comprising at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material, wherein said at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and said at least one layer of a first protective material define an adhesion surface between them; feeding said laminated sheet to a rotatable center core; rotating the center core so as to wind said continuous laminated sheet around it in such a way to form said bobbin comprising a plurality of wounds of a continuous laminated sheet comprising at least one layer of alkaloids containing material and at least one layer of a first protective material.
POLYLACTIC RESIN COMPOSITIONS FOR PAPERBOARD COATING AND PAPERBOARD COATING PROCESSES USING THE COMPOSITIONS
A polyester blend is made in a reaction of a linear polylactide resin and a thermoplastic epoxy group-containing polymer. The polyester blend is blended with a polyester having a glass transition temperature below 0 C to form a polyester blend that is particular useful for making paperboard coatings in a melt extrusion process.
Waterborne adhesives for reduced basis weight multilayer substrates and use thereof
The adhesive composition comprising emulsion polymers and microspheres and articles made therefrom are provided. The adhesive is particularly suitable for packages for consumer products that provide sufficient strength and thermal insulation while reducing the overall basis weight of the substrates.
ABSORBENT PAPER PRODUCTS HAVING UNIQUE PHYSICAL STRENGTH PROPERTIES
The present disclosure provides for a paper product. The paper product has: (a) from about 20% to about 90% by weight of the dry fiber basis of the paper product of a refined soft wood pulp fiber mixture, (b) pulp fibers selected from the group consisting of hard wood fibers, non-wood fibers, recycled fibers, synthetic polymer fibers, bleached eucalyptus kraft fibers, and combinations thereof; and, (c) not more than about 10% by weight moisture.
ABSORBENT PAPER PRODUCTS HAVING UNIQUE PHYSICAL STRENGTH PROPERTIES
A differential density paper product comprising at least one paper web is disclosed.
UNDERLAY MAT FOR FLOOR COVERINGS
A resolving issue of manufacturing an underlay mat enabling the easy installation, which meets high requirements regarding utility properties and durability despite low costs of materials and production, as well as good tolerance by the natural environment. This task is fulfilled by the underlay mat for floor coverings, which contains: the foamed polystyrene layer, the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film on the top side of the polystyrene layer, the layer of adhesive applied on the PET film and the removable protective layer applied on the layer of adhesive.
Ultrathin fluid-absorbent article
An absorbent core and an absorbent article respectively with improved properties, especially rewet performance, are disclosed. The absorbent core has at least two layers, wherein each layer comprising from 0 to 10% by weight fibrous material and from 90 to 100% by weight water-absorbent polymer particles, based on the sum of water-absorbent polymer particles and fibrous material. The surface-postcrosslinked water absorbent polymer particles within the upper layer have a sphericity of at least 0.89 and a CRC of at least 34 g/g. Preferably the water-absorbent polymer particles have a sphericity of at least 0.89 and the sum of the CRC and AUL (0.3 psi, 21 g cm.sup.2) (EDANA 442.2-02) of the water absorbent polymer particles is at least 65 g/g.
Composite Label and Method of Making
A method for making labels comprising providing a plastic substrate layer and a paper substrate layer. The paper substrate layer comprises a printed display information sheet, wherein the printed display information sheet comprises a plurality of display information tags arranged in an array. The plastic substrate layer is coupled to each of the rows of display information tags within a first portion of the display information tags to form a composite substrate row. A first line of perforations is cut into a width of the composite substrate at one or more first spaced intervals, a length of the first spaced intervals being defined by a length of the display information tags. A a second line of perforations is cut into a width of the composite substrate at one or more second spaced intervals, a length of the second spaced intervals being defined by a height of the display information tags.
System and method for producing a facing for a board product with strategically placed scores
A system and method for producing a board product made from paper products that have a pre-scored facing in addition to a medium (sometimes called fluting). Conventional corrugated board may feature a cross-corrugated medium and one or more facing that have no score lines that are impressed (at least prior to assembly with the corrugated medium). Such a conventional board product may be inferior because any score lines that are impressed will damage the underlying corrugated medium in some manner. A breakdown in the strength of the underlying medium leads to poor precision when the eventual board product is scored, cut, and folded. A lack of precision in folding a board product leads to gap variation and fishtailing as any articulated portion of the board product may not maintain a precise plane of articulation when folded.
