Building panel and a method to produce such a building panel
A building panel, such as a floor panel, having a core comprising at least one or more of a thermoplastic material, a thermoset material, a mineral based material or a combination thereof. The building panel further including a first arrangement, arranged on said core, having a surface layer and a sublayer, where the sublayer is arranged between the core and the surface layer.
Cladding panel
A panel for covering a substrate including: a body having a first connecting profile and a second connecting profile, and a mesh, the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile being complementarily shaped in such a way that adjacent panels are coupled to one another via the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile, each of the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile comprising a pocket and a flange, the pocket of the first connecting profile being shaped for receiving the flange of the second connecting profile and the pocket of the second connecting profile being shaped for receiving the flange of the first connecting profile, wherein the mesh overhangs both the pocket of the first connecting profile and the pocket of the second connecting profile, said mesh overhangs configured for attachment of the panel to the substrate.
COMPOSITE BODY COMPRISING A DECORATIVE ELEMENT
A method for preparing a composite body (1) comprising a support body (2) and at least one decorative element (3), preferably a gemstone (3a, 3b), the support body (2) comprising a thermoplastic material, the method being characterized by the steps of: arranging the decorative element (3) on the support body (2), heating the support body (2), pressing the decorative element (3) into the support body (2) by using a stamp (4) consisting of an elastically deformable material, the material of the stamp (4) being selected from the group of elastomers.
ENGINEERED WATERPROOF PLASTIC COMPOSITE FLOORING AND WALL COVERING PLANKS
Waterproof engineered floor and wall planks have a veneer layer bonded with a plastic composite core, and an underlayer, preferably an underlayer of cork.
BUILDING PANELS, ASSEMBLIES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Building panels, assemblies of building panels, and associated methods are provided. A building panel includes a set gypsum core; optionally a filamentous scrim associated with the set gypsum core, said filamentous scrim comprising a mesh constructed of elongated yarns defining a plurality of openings therebetween; and a fibrous mat facer associated with the filamentous scrim. In the panel, the set gypsum core penetrates into at least one of the filamentous scrim or the fibrous mat facer; the panel displays a wind uplift resistance between 90 lb/ft2 and 300 lb/ft2 on a roofing assembly having from between four and six fasteners thereon; a total thickness of the panel is between and ; the set gypsum core encapsulates the elongated yarns of the filamentous scrim; and/or the panel has a weight ranging from about 1,400 lbs/msf to about 2,600 lb/msf.
STONE VENEER TABLE TOP
A table top includes a stone veneer presenting a single unitary piece of stone as the top surface of the stone veneer, wherein the stone veneer defines a veneer perimeter comprising a rectangle having a width of at least 20 inches (50.8 centimeters) and a length of at least 40 inches (101.6 centimeters), wherein the stone veneer has a veneer thickness, a substrate defining a substrate perimeter and having a substrate thickness, and an adhesive securing the bottom surface of the stone veneer to the top surface of the substrate, wherein the veneer perimeter and the substrate perimeter are substantially the same shape and size, wherein the veneer thickness is at least 1 millimeter (0.03937 inch) and not greater than 6 millimeters (0.2362 inch), wherein the substrate thickness is at least 3 millimeters (0.1181 inch), and wherein the table top weighs less than 4 pounds per square foot (191.5 Newtons per square meter).
Composite product with surface effect
The present invention relates to methods of manufacturing composite products having a surface effect. In some examples described, a composite product has a simulated surface, for example a stone-effect surface formed by pressing a particulate-form surface material (30) and a sheet-form curable material (40) onto a substrate (44) having an open-celled structure. In other examples, a laminate product having a veneer is formed by pressing a veneer and a sheet-form material onto a substrate including a porous structure. The veneer may comprise a wood material. In other examples, a surface effect material is bonded to a skin by pressing a sheet-form curable material to a mold surface and the surface effect material. Where the surface effect material has a high thermal conductivity, the composite product formed can feel cool to the touch.
