PRINTED MATERIAL, PRINTING APPARATUS, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND PRINTING METHOD
A printed material includes a base material, an image layer, and an adhesive layer. The image layer includes an image of a first shape. The adhesive layer has a second shape. The image layer and the adhesive layer are on opposite sides of the base material.
Rollers for dryer system
In an example, a dryer system may include a dryer, a plurality of passive rollers, and a tension engine to maintain tension on web media based on dryer pressure. In another example, a dryer system includes a plurality of passive rollers in a drying zone and a moveable platen having a surface defining apertures corresponding to the plurality of rows of passive rollers such that the surface of the platen moves relative to an axis of the roifers. In another example, a platen device includes a roller, a moveable platen having a surface defining an aperture through which the roller fits, and a cover that moves in conjunction with movement of the platen to cover the aperture when the surface of the platen is adjusted to a height above the axis of the roller.

PRINTING APPARATUS WITH UNIFORM COOLED ROLLER
A printing apparatus includes a cooling system for cooling a print medium. The cooling system includes a cooling member with a support surface configured for supporting the print medium. The cooling member has a first end and a second end and the support surface extends in a lateral direction between the first end and the second end. The cooling member is provided with supply channels and return channels extending between the first and the second end. A fluid circulation means supplies fluid through the supply channels from the first end to the second end, and back through the return channels from the second end to the first end.
LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE
A light source device includes plural light-emitting diodes arranged on a plane. A viewing angle of each of the light-emitting diodes is less than 50° or more than 80°.
METHOD OF CREATING A PRINTED PRODUCT
A method for creating a printed product includes providing a printing substrate, providing a first fluid, applying the first fluid to the printing substrate as a first layer, providing an effect fluid as a second fluid, the effect fluid including a carrier fluid and platelet-shaped effect pigments, and applying the effect fluid to the printing substrate as a second layer, the second layer forming an effect layer. The first layer is created as a duct layer having a multiplicity of ducts. The ducts allow at least a portion of the carrier fluid of the effect fluid to pass through or enter, and the ducts substantially do not allow the effect pigments of the effect fluid to pass through or enter. This provides a cost-efficient and advantageous way of creating high-quality printed products with top quality finish and special effects having improved impact of the special effects.

DEPOSIT LEVELLING
A method for producing a flat feature on a substrate, comprises the steps of printing a deposit of print medium onto the substrate, the printed deposit comprising an upper surface, modifying the upper surface of the printed deposit, for example by partially drying the printed deposit, and levelling the modified deposit to produce a flat feature.
MACHINE FOR DRYING INKS OF THE UV TYPE
A machine for drying inks of the UV type, the machine including a supporting frame, which forms at least one exposure chamber, which can be accessed from the outside and accommodates at least one UV ray emission source. On the supporting frame, there is at least one carriage which supports rotatably at least one pan for supporting at least one object to be processed which is provided, on its surface, with at least one print provided by UV inks. Elements are furthermore provided for the rotational actuation of the pan; the carriage is movable in order to move the pan from an exposure position to at least one respective access position, in which the pan is arranged outside of the exposure chamber, in order to allow the loading or unloading of the object on or from the pan.
