Hand dryer apparatus
A hand dryer includes a housing including a hand insertion portion and nozzles communicating with the hand insertion portion, a high-pressure air stream generation device placed inside the housing, hand detection sensors detecting a user's hand inserted into the hand insertion portion, a control unit that, when the hand detection sensors detect the user's hand, operates the high-pressure air stream generation device to cause an air stream to jet out from the nozzles, and a drain tank collecting droplets blown off the user's hand and scattered in the hand insertion portion. The hand dryer includes a drain conductive plate placed to face the top surface of the drain tank and a control circuit detecting the water level of the drain tank based on capacitance generated in the drain conductive plate.
INFRA-RED CONTROL DEVICE

Home appliance including dryer
A home appliance including a dryer to discharge drying air and a stand is provided. The dryer includes a casing, a fan located in the casing, a heater located in the casing, a grip connected to the casing, and a dryer positioner located at the grip. The stand includes a receptacle to detachably mount an end of the grip of the dryer and a stand positioner located at the receptacle, the stand positioner cooperating with the dryer positioner when the grip is mounted in the receptacle to align the grip in a predetermined position. At least one of a magnetic force or a physical contact occurs between the dryer positioner and the stand positioner.

ELECTRIC HEATING DEVICE
An electric heating device for emitting a heated air flow, in particular for a sanitary room or washroom in a rail-borne vehicle, includes an air duct, a fan generating the air flow, a heating element heating the air flow and a first over-temperature switch. The first over-temperature switch can reversibly switch off the heating element when a first over-temperature is exceeded. A second over-temperature switch can irreversibly switch off the heating element when a second over-temperature is exceeded. The second over-temperature switch is disposed in a recess, depression or opening formed in the air duct. The second over-temperature switch has a disconnect or isolating switch to be thermally triggered for switching off the heating element. The thermally triggered disconnect or isolating switch can be triggered by a glass sphere or bead that breaks when the second over-temperature is exceeded.
