An image forming system includes an image forming unit, a varnish applying unit, a control unit that executes an operation in an image forming mode in which a toner image is formed on a recording material and a varnish image is formed on the recording material on which the toner image is formed, and an input unit that permits input of a line width adjusting value of either one of a line width of a portion of the varnish image overlapping with an image portion and a line width of a portion of the varnish image overlapping with a non-image portion, wherein the varnish image is formed so as to extend over an image portion where the toner image is formed on the recording material and a non-image portion where the toner image is not formed on the recording material.

A conveying device includes a plurality of rotating bodies and a plurality of projecting rotators. The rotating bodies are spaced apart in a sheet conveyance direction in which a sheet is conveyed. The projecting rotators are spaced apart in the sheet conveyance direction on a side of an opposite face opposite a liquid applied face of the sheet. Each of the projecting rotator has a plurality of projections projecting radially outward. The rotating bodies are arranged to contact the projecting rotators. A contact pressure of the rotating bodies with the projecting rotators is smaller on an upstream side than on a downstream side in the sheet conveyance direction. One of an interval between the rotating bodies in the sheet conveyance direction and an interval between the projecting rotators in the sheet conveyance direction is smaller on the upstream side than on the downstream side in the sheet conveyance direction.
Liquid ejecting device with alternating current electric field generation unit
Provided is a liquid ejecting device. An alternating current electric field generation unit includes a first electrode and a second electrode disposed adjacent to each other, a high-frequency voltage generation unit configured to generate a high-frequency voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode, and a conductor configured to electrically couple the first electrode and the second electrode to the high-frequency voltage generation unit. The first electrode and the second electrode are disposed upstream of a liquid ejecting head in a transport direction of a medium.

The assembly comprises (i) a first fixture configured to hold a first print head; and (ii) at least two processing lines A, B, C, D, wherein each processing line A, B, C, D includes a first printing section in which a functional layer is printed on a surface of an electronic device, a sintering section spaced apart from the first printing section and configured to sinter the functional layer, wherein the sintered functional layer exhibits a crystal lattice structure, and a transport mechanism (4) configured to move from the printing section to the sintering section. The first fixture is movable from one processing line A, B, C, D to another processing line A, B, C, D.

It is hereby disclosed a textile printing method comprising a controller to: receive a print job; and determine a print area of a garment based on the print job; wherein the controller is to instruct a printhead comprising a pre-treatment liquid to eject a pre-treatment liquid in a pre-treatment area of the garment being the pre-treatment area associated to the print area; and to instruct a printhead comprising printing fluid to print the print job on the print area.
PLATEN CONVEYANCE DEVICE
A platen conveyance device includes a first conveyance path, a platen supporter, a second conveyance path, and a positioner. The first conveyance path is configured to convey a platen to a pretreatment device. The platen supporter is configured to support the platen conveyed by the first conveyance path. The second conveyance path is provided with the platen supporter. The second conveyance path is configured to convey the platen supporter to a printer. The positioner is configured to position the platen supported by the platen supporter at a prescribed printing position in a horizontal direction.
RECORDING DEVICE AND RECORDING METHOD
A recording device, when recording is performed on a predetermined type target recording medium stored in a storage unit, drives a surface potential adjustment unit so that a surface potential is a positive potential within a predetermined range. By configuring such a recording device, it is possible to suppress adhesion of ink to an ejecting unit, and occurrence of an ink ejection failure can be suppressed.
