Inkjet printing apparatus and printing method with conveying print medium in first direction and second direction and with control of nip of conveyance rollers
An object is to provide a full-line inkjet printing apparatus and a printing method that can suppress occurrence of image degradation in the case where a conveyance roller conveys a print medium and multipass printing is performed. The maximum conveyance amount in a return route is set to be smaller than a distance between the conveyance roller and a print head.
PRE-TREATMENTS FOR INK-JET PRINTING
Disclosed herein is a print head arrangement, a printing device and a method of operating a printing device. The print head arrangement comprises a main print head having a plurality of printing nozzles for ejecting a printing fluid and an auxiliary print head having a plurality of pre-treatment nozzles for ejecting a pre-treatment fluid. The print head arrangement further comprises a controller that is to obtain a print medium parameter and to select a subset of the plurality of pre-treatment nozzles for application of the pre-treatment fluid based on the print medium parameter. The print medium parameter characterizes a thermal inertia of the print medium.
Printing apparatus, control method, and conveyance apparatus
To provide a technology capable of appropriately suppressing deterioration in cutting accuracy of a slitter although the rigidity of a print medium changes, a printing apparatus is equipped with: a first conveyance unit configured to convey a print medium; a printing unit configured to print an image by applying ink to the print medium conveyed by the first conveyance unit; a cutting unit disposed on a downstream side in a conveyance direction in which the print medium is conveyed by the first conveyance unit and configured to cut the print medium, which is conveyed by the first conveyance unit, along the conveyance direction; and a second conveyance unit disposed on the cutting unit, and the printing apparatus includes a correction unit configured to correct a parameter related to conveyance of at least one of the first conveyance unit and the second conveyance unit, based on information about the print medium.
Tape printing apparatus, information processing apparatus, method for controlling tape printing apparatus, and storage medium
A tape printing apparatus includes: a storage control unit that causes a storage unit to store a text file that contains a text in association with information that indicates a type of a printing tape; a detection unit that detects the type of the printing tape that is a target of printing; an extraction unit that extracts, out of the storage unit, the text file associated with the information that indicates the type of the printing tape detected by the detection unit; and a display control unit that causes a display unit to display the extracted text file as a selection candidate for the text file that is to be printed on the printing tape.
SUBSTRATE POSITIONING FOR DEPOSITION MACHINE
A deposition device is described. The deposition device has a substrate support and a laser imaging system disposed to image a portion of a substrate positioned on the substrate support. The laser imaging system comprises a laser source and an imaging unit, and is coupled to a deposition assembly disposed across the substrate support.
Sensor of imaging device detects an amount of print media in a print media receptacle using plural thresholds to notify user when the imaging device has a low quantity of the print media
In some examples, a non-transitory machine readable medium can include instructions executable by a processing resource to assert a low print media level notification responsive to determination that a first amount of print media in a media receptacle of an imaging device is less than a set value, detect a second amount of print media in the media receptacle of the imaging device, compare the detected second amount of print media to a print media threshold that is based on the set value and a selectable print media value, and maintain the low print media level notification responsive to a determination that the detected second amount of print media is less than the print media threshold.
Image forming apparatus and image forming method
An image forming apparatus includes: a hardware processor that forms an image on a conveyed recording medium; and a determining device that determines whether a type of the recording medium is a first recording medium or a second recording medium, wherein if the type of the recording medium is determined to be the first recording medium, the hardware processor forms a normal image on the recording medium, whereas if the type of the recording medium is determined to be the second recording medium, the hardware processor forms a test image on the recording medium.
THERMAL PRINTERS STORING COLOR CORRECTION DATA
An example thermal printer includes: a receptacle to receive a thermal media sheet; a thermal printhead to heat the thermal media sheet in the receptacle; a memory to store color correction data for types of thermal media sheets; a processor interconnected with the memory and the thermal printhead, the processor to: identify a type of the thermal media sheet in the receptacle; obtain, from the memory, the color correction data for the type of the thermal media sheet; and control the thermal printhead to heat the thermal media sheet based on the color correction data.
TAPE CASSETTE
A tape cassette that includes a housing having a front wall and a tape feed exit located on the front wall, a tape at least partially included within the housing and configured to be fed along a tape feed path extending to the tape feed exit, and tape type indicator apertures formed on the front wall of the housing. A combination of the tape type indicator apertures forms a pattern corresponding to a type of the tape at least partially included within the housing. The tape type indicator apertures include a first tape type indicator aperture and a second tape type indicator aperture, and the tape type indicator apertures are positioned such that the first tape type indicator aperture is not aligned with the second tape type indicator aperture in a direction orthogonal to the tape feed path and parallel to the front wall.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, TAPE PRINTING APPARATUS, TAPE PRINTING SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD OF INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus coupled to and configured to communicate with a tape printing apparatus which prints a printing image on a tape fed from a tape cartridge includes: an acquiring section that acquires cartridge information indicating a type of the tape cartridge attached to the tape printing apparatus; a determining section that determines whether or not a shrinkable tape is loaded in the tape cartridge in accordance with the cartridge information; and a printing control section that, when the determining section determines that the shrinkable tape is not loaded in the tape cartridge, causes the tape printing apparatus to print a normal printing image and, when the determining section determines that the shrinkable tape is loaded in the tape cartridge, causes the tape printing apparatus to print an enlarged printing image to be printed on the tape as an enlarged image of the normal printing image.
