PRINTING INDEPENDENT IMAGES BY SHARING PRINTER HEADS
The disclosed embodiments include a printer having a printing area configured to receive distinct mediums, and printer heads arranged relative to the printing area. The printer heads are collectively configured to print independent images onto the distinct mediums. The printer heads include at least one shared printer head configured to simultaneously print portions of the independent images onto each of two adjacent mediums.
Printer configured to rotate discharge roller when determining that second print control subsequent to first print control can be performed
A printer includes: a printing head configured to perform printing on a medium; a conveyor configured to convey the medium in a conveying direction; a cutter configured to cut the medium to provide a segmented medium; a discharge roller; a counter roller configured to nip the medium in cooperation with the discharge roller; a driver configured to rotate the discharge roller in a discharging direction; and a controller configured to perform: (a) controlling the printing head and the conveyor to perform the first print control based on a first print instruction to perform printing on the medium; (b) driving the driver to stop rotation of the discharge roller with the medium nipped between the discharge roller and the counter roller; and (c) driving, when a second print control subsequent to the first print control is allowed, the driver to rotate the discharge roller in the discharging direction.

FOOD SERVICE MATERIAL DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand food service material printing for food service are provided herein. A food service material dispenser comprises a roll holder configured to hold a roll of food service material, one or more rollers, and a motor configured to operate to translate the food service material along a path within the dispenser. The dispenser includes a cutting arrangement configured to perform a cut of the food service material to form the sheet of food service material that defines a size associated with a food service order. The dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the food service material that is based on the associated food service order. The dispenser further includes a chute configured to dispense the sheet of food service material, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
PRINTER DEVICE CAPABLE OF ADJUSTING PAPER
The disclosure is directed to a printer device including a printer body, a paper correction module, and a processor. The printer body has a media feed path. The printer body detects a width of the paper to output a paper size signal. The paper correction module is installed in the media feed path. The paper correction module includes two paper guiding arms and an actuating mechanism. The actuating mechanism is capable of driving the two paper guiding arms to approach or move away from each other. The processor is electrically connected with the actuating mechanism. After the processor receives the paper size signal, the actuating mechanism is controlled to space the two paper guiding arms with a preset interval.

Image Forming Device
An image forming device includes a first supplier configured to supply a long recording medium, an image forming engine configured to form an image on the recording medium supplied from the first supplier using a color material supplied from a color reservoir, a remaining amount output device configured to output a signal indicating a remaining amount of the color material. The image forming device derives a length of a recording medium on which images can be formed until a color material in the color reservoir runs out, and displays the length of the recording medium on which the images can be formed derived in the deriving on a display.
PRINTING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A printing apparatus includes a conveyance unit arranged on an upstream side of a printing unit in a conveyance direction of a print medium and configured to convey the print medium to the printing unit, and a control unit configured to, after a start of printing for the print medium by the printing unit, regulate the printing by the printing unit during a time when a leading edge of the print medium conveyed by the conveyance unit is passing through a set section preset on a conveyance path of the print medium.
FOOD SERVICE CUP DISPENSERS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Systems for providing on-demand cup printing and dispensing for food service are provided herein. A cup dispenser includes a cup source configured to hold a stack of cups and one or more cup-moving elements configured to cause a cup from the stack of cups to move through the cup dispenser. The cup dispenser includes a motor configured to operate the one or more cup-moving elements to cause the cup to move through the cup dispenser along a path. The cup dispenser also includes a printer configured to print at least one of order information or personalization information on the cup that is based on the food service order associated with the cup. The cup dispenser further includes a dispensing slot that provides the cup, which includes the at least one of order information or personalization information printed thereon.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, RECORDING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a type reception unit, a notification unit, a mode reception unit, and a determination unit. The mode reception unit receives a mode selected from among a plurality of modes for determining a determined type of recording medium for use in a recording apparatus, wherein the information processing apparatus is configured to perform operations including determining, in a designation mode, a selected type of recording medium indicated by information received by the type reception unit, and determining, in an automatic determination mode, an automatically determined type of recording medium for use in the recording apparatus without receiving input user information indicating the recording medium type. In response to the determination unit determining that the mode is able to be changed from the designation mode to the automatic determination mode, the notification unit issues a prompting notification to prompt a user to change the mode.
