Printing apparatus
An example printing apparatus is illustrated. The printing apparatus includes a print engine assembly. The print engine assembly further includes a bottom chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a print head positioned within the top chassis portion. The print engine assembly also includes a plurality of offset pins coupled to the print head, where the plurality of offset pins abuts the bottom chassis portion, and where the plurality of offset pins enables the print head to be positioned at a predetermined distance from the bottom chassis portion.
Inkjet printhead for printing redundantly in four colors
A pagewide printhead for printing redundantly in four colors. First and second rows of printhead chips are mounted on a common ink manifold having four ink supply channels for supplying four colors of ink to the first and second rows of printhead chips. Dedicated ink outlets interconnect one ink supply channel of the ink manifold with a pair of redundant nozzle rows in each printhead chip.

PRINTING PRESS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING AT LEAST ONE NOZZLE BAR OF AT LEAST ONE PRINTING UNIT
In some examples, a printing press includes a printing unit with at least four nozzle bars, each including a print head. At least one nozzle bar has a printing position and at least one service position. For instance, in a first service position, the at least one nozzle bar has a first distance to the transport path of a printing substrate, and in a second service position the at least one nozzle bar has a second distance to the transport path. The printing unit includes at least one cleaning device and/or cleaning system that is selectively arranged in an area between the at least one nozzle bar and the transport path. The at least one service position may be arranged in vertical direction above the printing position, and the second distance of the second service position of the nozzle bar may be less than in the first service position.

LIQUID JET HEAD AND LIQUID JET RECORDING DEVICE
The area necessary to install the liquid jet head to be positioned by a positioning mechanism is reduced. An inkjet head is provided with a head main body for jetting ink, a base member which supports the head main body, and is installed on an installation surface of a carriage, and a positioning mechanism which adjusts a position of the base member in a direction along the installation surface with respect to a positioning pin disposed on the installation surface, wherein the positioning mechanism is supported by the base member, and at least a part of the positioning mechanism is arranged inside an outer shape of the base member in a plan view of the installation surface viewed from a vertical direction thereof.
POSITIONING STRUCTURE, LIQUID JET HEAD, AND LIQUID JET RECORDING DEVICE
A liquid jet head is accurately positioned to a head installation part of a liquid jet recording device. A positioning structure includes a positioning pin provided to a carriage, and a positioning mechanism provided to an inkjet head, wherein the positioning mechanism includes a contact member having contact with the positioning pin, and a displacement mechanism for displacing the contact member along a displacement axis extending in an oblique direction crossing a direction perpendicular to an installation surface of head installation part, and a contact part of the positioning pin is formed to have a curved surface shape taking a first intersecting axis crossing the installation surface as a central axis, and a contact part of the contact member is formed to have a curved surface shape taking a second intersecting axis as a central axis, the second intersecting axis crossing an imaginary plane including a displacement axis and a vertical axis (the first intersecting axis) extending in a direction perpendicular to the installation surface, and the second intersecting axis being nonparallel to the first intersecting axis.
