Method for manufacturing laminated printed matter, and laminated printed matter
A method for manufacturing laminated printed matter includes the steps of ejecting, by an ink jet process, a colorant-containing active-radiation-curable ink composition onto a recording medium; ejecting, by an ink jet process, a colorant-free or white-pigment-containing active-radiation-curable ink composition into a non-image area adjoining an image area formed by the colorant-containing ink composition; curing the ejected colorant-containing ink composition and the ejected colorant-free or white-pigment-containing ink composition by irradiation with active radiation to form an image layer; and laminating a lamination film on a surface on which the image layer has been formed. Laminated printed matter has, in sequence, an image layer and a lamination film. The image layer is composed of an image area and a non-image area. The non-image area is formed of a cured product selected from the group consisting of transparent cured products and white cured products. The non-image area adjoins a side of the image area in a direction along the plane of the recording medium.
Methods and Systems for a Textile Treatment System
Methods and systems are provided for treating a textile substrate. In one example, a method of treating a textile substrate comprises jetting a plurality of treatment compositions from an inkjet printer on to only a treatment area of the textile substrate without being jetted outside of the treatment area, the plurality of jetted treatment compositions each forming a treatment layer over the treatment area, wherein outside of the treatment area the textile substrate is bare of the treatment layers. Jetting the plurality of the treatment compositions includes jetting a pretreatment composition adjacently over the textile substrate, jetting an ink composition over the textile substrate, and jetting a topcoat composition over the textile substrate, and adjusting a composition of the plurality of treatment compositions jetted from the inkjet printer based on a hydrophobicity of the textile substrate.
RECORDING MEDIUM, SEPARATION-MEMBER-EQUIPPED RECORDING MEDIUM, DECORATIVE SHEET, SEPARATION-MEMBER-EQUIPPED DECORATIVE SHEET, DECORATED ARTICLE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DECORATED ARTICLE, AND COMBINATION OF RECORDING MEDIUM AND TRANSFER SHEET
To provide a recording medium or a separation-member-equipped recording medium that enables manufacturing of a printed object, a decorative sheet or the like having novel design properties, to provide a method for manufacturing a decorative sheet or a decorated article that enables manufacturing of a decorated article having novel design properties, and to provide a decorated article having novel design properties. Provided is a recording medium 100 which is used for forming an image, the recording medium 100 including a support body 1, and an image forming layer 10 provided on the support body 1, wherein light transmittance in a visible light region of the whole of the recording medium is 10% or more, and glossiness of the recording medium which is measured with a condition of a measurement angle being 45° is 60 or less.
PRINTABLE RECORDING MEDIA
A printable recording media that comprises a base substrate with an image-side and a back-side. An ink-receiving layer comprising, at least, a reactive crosslinking agent, inorganic pigment particles and/or mixture inorganic particles, and polymeric binders and/or mixture of polymeric binders, is applied to the image-side of the base substrate. Also described herein are a method for forming the printable recording media and a printing method that includes ejecting an ink composition onto the print media described herein.
Ink jet recording method and method for manufacturing laminated printed matter
An ink jet recording method includes the steps of ejecting an active-radiation-curable ink composition onto a recording medium by an ink jet process and curing the ejected ink composition by irradiation with active radiation. During transporting of the recording medium in the ejecting and curing steps, an unwinding stress in the recording medium is larger than a winding stress in the recording medium. The recording medium has a thickness of 10 μm to 100 μm. Also provided is a method for manufacturing laminated printed matter using printed matter produced by the ink jet recording method.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A printing apparatus includes: a gloss forming unit that forms at least two regions having different gloss levels on a print medium; and a print image forming unit that forms a print image on the at least two regions having different gloss levels of the print medium after the gloss forming unit forms the at least two regions.
HEAT RESISTANT PAPER-FEEL OVERPRINT VARNISHES
Described herein are heat resistant inks and coating compositions that, when coated on a substrate, impart the feel of paper. The inks and coating compositions do not degrade when exposed to temperatures of 120° C. or greater.
Method and apparatus for producing a decorative workpiece and workpiece
The inventions relates to a method for producing a decorative workpiece with a structured surface comprising the following steps: (B) applying a first liquid lacquer having a coarse structuring over the entire surface, wherein a difference in thickness between thicker regions and thinner regions is at least 50 μm, in particular at least 100 μm; (E) applying a second liquid, at least partially transparent lacquer for producing a fine structuring in some regions. Furthermore, an apparatus for performing the method and a workpiece produced by the method are claimed.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM INCORPORATING THE IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a sheet separation device, a first sheet feeder, a second sheet feeder, an image forming device, and circuitry. The sheet separation device is configured to separate a non-bonding portion of a two-ply sheet in which two sheets are overlapped and bonded together at a bonding portion of the two-ply sheet. The first sheet feeder is configured to feed the two-ply sheet. The second sheet feeder is configured to feed an inner sheet to be inserted between the two sheets.
