METHOD FOR PRODUCING A RELIEF-LIKE PRINTED IMAGE ON CONTAINERS
A method for producing a relief-like printed image on containers is described in which print layers are layered onto one another by way of jet application of a printing paint, an ink, a varnish, or an adhesive from at least one print head onto a container, thereby producing elevated regions of the printed image. Due to the fact that the print layers are each applied in full tone printing, optical and haptic effects can be created on container surfaces with low equipment complexity and a minimal number of printing steps.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRINTING DOCUMENTS WITH TEXTURE
An aqueous inkjet printer also ejects drops of UV material on an aqueous ink image and exposes the aqueous ink image and the UV material to UV radiation before passing the aqueous ink image and UV material through a thermal dryer. The exposure to UV radiation pins the UV material to the aqueous ink image and underlying substrate and the thermal dryer fixes the aqueous ink image to the substrate while releasing free radicals from the UV material. Thus, the printer produces textured prints that do not have free radicals that can irritate skin or produce noxious odors.
INKJET PRINTING METHOD AND INKJET PRINTING DEVICE
An inkjet printing method forming a decorative printed layer having a three-dimensional texture on a printing surface is described. The inkjet printing method includes: printing dots of curable ink that cure under a predetermined condition based on dot pattern data indicative of printed positions of the dots to be printed on the printing surface; and curing the printed dots. The dot pattern data indicates that: a distance between the adjacent dots becomes a distance where the adjacent dots before the curing are allowed to be maintained independently without bonding to one another in a first region; and the distance between the adjacent dots becomes a distance where the adjacent dots before the curing bond to one another in a second region different from the first region. Such a method may allow forming a decorative printed layer having a three-dimensional texture with a desired gloss level.
ULTRAVIOLET CURABLE INKJET INK SET AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF PRINTED MATTER
By the use of an ultraviolet curable inkjet ink set for a line head printer comprising a lower layer ink containing a polymerizable monomer having a specific structure, and, a specific photopolymerization initiator, and an upper layer ink containing a polymerizable monomer having a specific structure and a specific photopolymerization initiator, wherein among the lower layer ink and the upper layer ink, one of the inks is a white ink and the other ink is a black ink, a good printed matter having excellent adhesion between a recording medium and the ink layer, and, between different ink layers can be obtained without generating curing wrinkles and curling over time even during high speed printing.
Spot gloss and gloss control in an inkjet printing system
Embodiments of the invention provide a technique that effects spot gloss or gloss control and/or variations on one image without requiring clear inks. This is preferably accomplished by use of a multilayer printing process in which an image is first printed using a first set of color print heads and then cured, and in which the image is again printed using a second set of color print head, but where the image remains uncured for a predetermined interval to allow the ink drops applied to the media to spread and thus introduce a gloss effect.
Ink composition for inkjet printed steel plate, inkjet printed steel plate using the same, and method for producing inkjet printed steel plate
Provided is an ink composition for an inkjet print steel plate, an inkjet print steel plate using the same, and a method for producing an inkjet print steel plate. The ink composition comprises: a linear acrylate-based oligomer; a reactive acrylate-based monomer; an ultraviolet curable initiator; at least one selected from the group consisting of a dye and a pigment; and at least one selected from the group consisting of an antioxidant, an antifoaming agent, and a dispersant.
Copper ink
A copper-based ink contains copper hydroxide and diethanolamine. The ink may be coated on a substrate and decomposed on the substrate to form a conductive copper coating on the substrate. The ink is low cost and micron-thick traces of the ink may be screen printed and thermally sintered in the presence of up to about 500 ppm of oxygen or photo-sintered in air to produce highly conductive copper features. Sintered copper traces produced from the ink have improved air stability compared to traces produced from other copper inks. Sintered copper traces having sheet resistivity of about 20 mΩ/□/mil or less may be obtained for 5-20 mil wide screen-printed lines with excellent resolution.
UV-LED RADICALLY CURABLE OFFSET PRINTING INKS AND PRINTING PROCESSES
The present invention relates to the field of UV-LED radically curable inks for offset printing of security documents. In particular, the invention relates to UV-LED radically curable offset printing inks for offset printing on a substrate or security document, said UV-LED radically curable inks having a viscosity in the range of about 2.5 to about 25 Pa s at 40° C. and 1000 s.sup.−1 and comprising radically curable (meth)acrylate compounds, one or more photoinitiators of formula (I), one or more amino containing compounds selected from the group consisting of aminobenzoate compounds, amine modified polyether based acrylates and combinations thereof, and one or more fillers and/or extenders.
Laminated body and method for producing the same, curable liquid composition set, inkjet printing apparatus, and inkjet printing method
A method for producing a laminated body including a first curable liquid composition and a second curable liquid composition, the method including: forming a first liquid layer formed of the first curable liquid composition; impacting the second curable liquid composition onto the first liquid layer, to form a second liquid droplet layer formed of the second curable liquid composition inside the first liquid layer or at a lower part of the first liquid layer in a direction in which second liquid droplets for the second liquid droplet layer are impacted onto the first liquid layer; and curing the first liquid layer and the second liquid droplet layer.
Preparation Process Of 3D Texture Decorative Panel, And Preparation System Thereof As Well As 3D Texture Decorative Panel Prepared Therefrom
A process includes printing a pattern on an upper surface of a substrate and curing to form a pattern layer; carrying out digital inkjet printing on an area where a convex pattern is required on the pattern layer by using a first UV varnish to obtain a first UV varnish layer, and before the first UV varnish layer is cured, in a crack area with a predetermined sharp boundary on the pattern layer, digital inkjet printing is performed on an edge of the first UV varnish layer with an ink to obtain an ink layer, the ink layer is in contact with the first UV varnish layer, then the first UV varnish layer is subjected to curing, the first UV varnish and ink being transparent or translucent and removing the ink to obtain a 3D texture decorative panel with sharp edges.
