A dust collector includes a tank, a main body, a suction fan, a flexible pre-filter, and a main filter. The tank includes a suction opening. The main body is fixed to an upper portion of the tank. The suction fan is disposed at the main body. The suction fan is rotated by a motor. The flexible pre-filter is housed in the tank at a lower side of the main body. The pre-filter is positioned at an upstream side of external air suctioned from the suction opening. The main filter is positioned at a downstream side of the pre-filter. The main filter has a plate shape disposed laterally.

A vacuum cleaner (1) comprising a container (2), a suction unit (60), an air channeling unit (25), operative between the container (2) and the suction unit (60), wherein the air channeling unit (25) comprises: a collector (26) having a suction mouth (27) at an intake side of the air channeling unit (25), a deflector (28) positioned at the intake side and radially extending at least over a central portion of the suction mouth (27), the collector (26) and the deflector (28) delimiting a suction channel (29) connecting the suction mouth (27) to an inlet port (22) of the suction unit (60).

An exhaust system includes a pipe tube for discharging an exhaust air ejected from an exhaust port of an electric vacuum cleaner to a predetermined exterior location, the pipe tube including a tube main body made of a pliable and less-stretchable material, and a cord inserted into the tube main body, the cord being made of a pliable and highly-stretchable material. The cord, when not stretched, has a length close to an actual extension length which permits connection between the exhaust port of the indoor electric vacuum cleaner and the predetermined exterior location. A vacuum cleaner including a suction inlet that provides entrance of a suction airflow, a suction source, a diffuser, a blower port, a duct, and a removable cap. The diffuser is in fluid communication with the suction source for diffusing the suction airflow and the diffuser includes a circumferential opening that surrounds the suction source such that the suction airflow travels through the opening into the diffuser. The duct is located downstream of the blower port with respect to the direction of the suction airflow and the duct includes an outlet. The cap is removably coupled to the blower port such that at least a portion of the suction airflow exhausts through the blower port when the cap is removed, and when the cap is coupled to the blower port the suction airflow is travels through the duct and exhausts through the outlet.

A motor module includes a motor, a fan, and a casing accommodating the motor and the fan therein. The casing includes a tubular main body portion, an intake port, an exhaust port, a motor disposing unit, a flow passage, and a partition unit. The flow passage includes a fan accommodating unit. The partition unit includes a first central partition unit that partitions the fan accommodating unit and the motor disposing unit. Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner assembly (10) including a harness assembly having a support bracket (11) and a vacuum cleaner (12) supported by the brackets (11). The brackets (11) are intended to be worn by a user so that the vacuum cleaner (12) is positioned adjacent the back of the user.

A motor includes a motor housing, a rotating shaft assembly including a rotating shaft, a rotor, and a bearing in which the rotor and the bearing are mounted to the rotating shaft. The motor further includes a stator installed in the motor housing, the stator surrounding the rotor, a bracket mounted to the motor housing, and an elastic mesh that defines a plurality of pores, that is disposed between the bracket and the bearing, and that contacts at least one of the bracket or the bearing.

A reconfigurable upright vacuum cleaner has a portable surface cleaning unit removably mounted to an upper portion. The portable surface cleaning unit has a suction motor and an air treatment member. The air treatment member is removably mounted to the portable surface cleaning unit and secured in position by an air treatment member lock. When the portable surface cleaning unit is mounted to the upper portion and the upper portion is in the storage position, the portable surface cleaning unit actuator is provided on an upper end of the portable surface cleaning unit and the air treatment member release actuator is provided on an upper end of the air treatment member.
