PRINTED MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED MATERIAL
A printed material includes: a recording medium having a pressure-bonding surface on which an image portion and a pressure phase transition layer are formed, the recording medium being folded upon the recording medium and pressure-bonded; or a recording medium having a pressure-bonding surface on which an image portion and a pressure phase transition layer are formed and an additional recording medium, the recording medium and the additional recording medium being stacked and pressure-bonded together. The average thickness of the pressure phase transition layer formed on the image portion on the pressure-bonding surface of the recording medium is larger than the average thickness of the pressure phase transition layer formed on a non-image portion on the pressure-bonding surface of the recording medium.
Scratch-off structures
Herein is described a scratch-off structure comprising the following layers in order: a substrate having a first layer showing information thereon, a second layer comprising a polymeric film and being substantially transparent; a third layer comprising a transparent electrostatic ink; a fourth layer, wherein the fourth layer is coloured. Methods for making scratch-off structures and collections of scratch-off structures are also described.
CASCADING SURPRISE DOORWAY DISPLAY ARTICLE WITH SOUND PLAYBACK
The present invention relates generally to a mounted display article, and more particularly to a multi-panel bulletin display mounted above a door frame that vertically unfolds or cascades in response to a trigger mechanism, the multi-panel bulletin display having cuts for receiving a removable greeting insert that has printed matter as well as a sound playback device that plays in response to the trigger mechanism.
Metal Postcard
Art meets technology in this invention of a Metal Postcard. Combining the technology of sublimation on metal, and artful images, this invention creates a luminescent Metal Postcard that can stand the test of time, as it will withstand exposure to the elements. Metal Postcards give the sender and receiver, both, the reassuring feeling that their thoughts and sentiment expressed by the card, will last exponentially beyond the life span of a paper card. Because the Postcard is made of a single sheet of metal, and has been determined by the U.S. Postal Service as approved to send through the mail, and that it will last longer than paper, makes it superior to its predecessors, paper and mixed element/paper postcards. It is simplicity in form; one piece of metal, two-sided with an image on one side and a postcard template with a greeting or note, an area for an address of the recipient and an area for a postal stamp, on the other side, yet it is technologically complex using the sublimation process on metal. This metal postcard delivers an iridescent and beautiful greeting and can be displayed as one would any piece of art.

Metal Greeting Card
Art meets technology in this invention of a Metal Greeting Card. Combining the technology of sublimation on metal, and artful images and greetings of all kinds, this invention creates a luminescent metal greeting card that can stand the test of time, as it will withstand exposure to the elements. Metal Greeting Card gives the sender and receiver, both, the reassuring feeling that their thoughts and sentiment expressed by the card, will last exponentially beyond the life span of a paper card. Because the Greeting Card is made of a single sheet of metal, and has been determined by the U.S. Postal Service as approved to send through the mail, with or without an envelope, and that it will last longer than paper, makes it superior to its predecessors, paper and mixed element/paper greeting cards. It is simplicity in form; one piece of metal, two-sided with an image on one side and a greeting or note on the other side, yet it is technologically complex using the sublimation process on metal. Card Products Utilizing Thin Screen Displays
A thin film video device is mounted onto a card stock and incorporated into a card, such as a greeting card. The thin film video device comprises a thin film video display coupled to a computer chip and a speaker. The thin film video device is powered by a local power source such as a small battery. The thin film video device is activated when the user unfolds the card, at which time an audiovisual message is displayed on the thin film video display and through the speaker.
Instant ticket redundancy via multi-chromatic indicia
A redundantly printed security-enhanced document, printing method and system ensure the meaning of the information imparted by variable indicia printed by redundant printing on the document with removable scratch-off coatings. By printing the variable indicia with multiple colors, redundancy and integrity of the intended indicia is achieved. Additionally, inverted color indicia countermeasures to pinprick attacks are also disclosed. The redundantly printed document, methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the redundantly printed document, and reduce possible consequences resulting from misprinted variable indicia. The resultant printed process color indicia maintains a grayscale equivalent level of a process color greater than or equal to the measured grayscale equivalent level of the substrate surface plus an additional contrast delta of 15%.
MESSAGING DEVICE
A messaging device having an exterior surface and at least one messaging cube with a plurality of rotatable exposed faces is disclosed. The exterior surface is adapted to receive at least one viewable message and the plurality of light output messaging that is controlled by a remote control device. The plurality of rotatable exposed faces is adapted to receive at least one viewable message for attachment thereon.
