Method for operating a dirt collecting device for a sweeping vehicle or for a vacuum cleaner nozzle of a floor or upright vacuum cleaner, which each comprise a suction fan with controllable speed and/or power, wherein in a first method step, the suction power of the suction fan is set at such a low level that the suction pressure in the dirt collecting device or the vacuum cleaner nozzle is merely sufficient to convey and deposit the absorbed coarse dirt into the intermediate container, and to convey the absorbed fine dirt into a downstream collection container, (normal operation); and that in a second method step, the filling level in the intermediate container is detected with respect to the coarse dirt deposited therein; and that in a third method step, if the filling level in the intermediate container is exceeded, the suction power of the suction fan is increased such that the coarse dirt, which is temporarily deposited in the intermediate container, becomes dispersible and is conveyed into the downstream collection container (emptying mode).

A cleaning system includes: a cleaning appliance comprising a base member, which is provided with a mechanical cleaning arrangement, and a fluid tank; and a cleaning apparatus for cleaning the mechanical cleaning arrangement of the cleaning appliance, the cleaning apparatus including: a container having a recess for receiving the base member; and a nozzle arrangement associated with the recess. The nozzle arrangement is connected to an inlet in a flow-conducting manner. The fluid tank has an outlet which, to clean the cleaning arrangement, is connectable to the inlet of the cleaning apparatus.

Disclosed is a robot cleaner including a main body forming an outer shape, a water tank including a water level sensor and storing water, a pair of rotary mops to which a cleaning cloth is attached, and that moves the main body while rotating in contact with a floor, a drive motor rotating the pair of rotary mops, a nozzle supplying water from the water tank to the cleaning cloth of the rotary mop, and a controller periodically determining an abnormality in water supply to convert to a wet mop mode or to a dry mop mode to proceed with cleaning. Therefore, in the present disclosure, the sensor may be provided in the water tank to detect the water shortage in the water tank for supplying water to the rotary mop, thereby determining whether to change modes by the robot cleaner itself.

Some autonomous cleaning robots include a drive configured to maneuver the autonomous cleaning robot about a floor surface. The robots include a cleaning system to clean the floor surface as the autonomous cleaning robot is maneuvered about the floor surface. The robots include a robot button positioned on the autonomous cleaning robot. The robots include a controller in electrical communication with the drive and the robot button. The controller is configured to perform operations including selecting a behavior of the autonomous cleaning robot from a plurality of behaviors of the autonomous cleaning robot responsive to a duration of actuation of the robot button and causing the autonomous mobile robot to initiate the behavior.
Self-cleaning automatically-stored electrical mop
A self-cleaning automatically-stored electrical mop includes a mop rod assembly, a mop head assembly, and a cleaning base assembly used for storing and cleaning the mop head assembly. The mop head assembly is arranged at the lower end of the mop rod assembly and includes a mop head shell which is provided with a rotatable cleaning roller and a motor used for driving the cleaning roller. The cleaning base assembly includes a shell part. A cleaning groove used for cleaning the cleaning roller is formed in the shell part, and a cleaning assembly used for scrubbing the cleaning roller is arranged in the cleaning groove. The shell part is provided with a sewage discharge system used for discharging sewage.

A cleaning robot includes a main body having an exterior portion extending along a perimeter of the main body; wheels that are drivable to move the robot; a rotation shaft; and a holder coupled to the rotation shaft to support a cleaning pad. The rotation shaft and the holder are rotatable along a rotation axis that is perpendicular to the surface to be cleaned, and the rotation shaft is laterally movable in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis to: a pop-in position in which the rotation shaft and the holder are under the main body and not protruding beyond the exterior portion of the main body, and a pop-out position in which the rotation shaft is under the main body and not protruding beyond the exterior portion and the holder is partially under the main body and partially protruding beyond the exterior portion of the main body.

The image sensor captures an image of the line pattern and an image of the speckle pattern.
