Convertible metal backings and related methods
A substrate usable with a double-side adhesive strip to suspend the substrate to a wall surface. The substrate can have one or more access holes located within an outer perimeter of the substrate. Each access hole has an inner perimeter inwardly of the outer perimeter that is sized and shaped to allow a tab of the double-sided adhesive strip to be extracted through the inner perimeter, after the substrate is suspended on the wall surface. Various articles can attach to the suspended substrate, such as through magnetic attachment, a hook, or a shelf.
Writing implement
An object is to provide a writing implement allowing the width of a drawn line to be freely changed by writing pressure that is capable of application to a narrow-shafted felt-tip pen or marker pen. The writing implement includes a shall tube, an ink supply core that is housed inside the shaft tube and that guides ink by capillary action, and a core surrounding member that is fitted to a leading end of the shaft tube, that is penetrated by the ink supply core, and from which a tip of the ink supply core projects. The ink supply core is configured to retract at a tip of the core surrounding member under writing pressure, and a projection dimension of the ink supply core from the tip of the core surrounding member is from 0.05 mm to 0.7 mm.
WRITING UTENSIL AND PRODUCING METHOD OF WRITING UTENSIL
To prevent ink from dripping, drying, and the like.
A writing utensil includes: a shaft tube; a writing chip that protrudes more toward the front than the shaft tube so as to discharge ink when pressed against a written face; and an ink supply part that supplies ink to the writing chip from a rear side, wherein the writing chip is at a separate position that is separated toward the front across a space with respect to the ink supply part and is moved due to a predetermined operation to a contact position where the writing chip comes into contact with the ink supply part from a front side.
Refill for a writing felt pen
A refill for a writing felt pen, the refill comprising a deformable pouch and a nib inserted into the deformable pouch, the deformable pouch comprising a mix of dry absorbent polymer, fibers and dry ink.
MARKER PIXEL WICKING APPARATUS
The present disclosure is directed to a marker pixel wicking apparatus that allows a user to create dimensional pixelated art using a method of applying a colored ink marker directly onto the top white surface of a specifically designed substrate. The substrate has been molded specifically with an array of small vertical flat-topped cylinders covering nearly the entire surface.
Reversibly thermochromic aqueous ink composition and writing instrument using the same
To provide a reversibly thermochromic aqueous ink composition excellent in dispersion stability of a reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment and a writing instrument using the same. Disclosed is a reversibly thermochromic aqueous ink composition comprising a reversibly thermochromic microcapsule pigment encapsulating a reversibly thermochromic composition comprising (a) an electron-donating color-developing organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and (c) a reaction medium to determine an occurrence temperature of a coloring reaction of the component (a) and the component (b), and a vehicle comprising water and a specific gravity adjuster selected from the group consisting of an oxyacid belonging to Group 6 having an atomic weight of 90 to 185 or salt thereof.

WRITING INSTRUMENT
A thermochromic ink writing instrument comprising a body extending along an axis, the body having a first end and a second end opposed to the first end along the axis, the first end being provided with a writing tip and with an eraser, wherein the writing tip is fed with thermochromic ink, wherein the writing tip is fixed with regard to the body and the eraser is movable along the axis with regard to the body, and the thermochromic ink writing instrument further comprising a helical-cam propelling mechanism configured to move the eraser along the axis between a retracted position and a protruding position.
WRITING INSTRUMENT
An erasable ink writing instrument comprising a body extending along an axis, the body having a first end and a second end opposed to the first end along the axis, the first end being provided with a writing tip and with an eraser, wherein the writing tip is fed with erasable ink, wherein the writing tip is fixed with regard to the body and the eraser is movable along the axis with regard to the body, and the erasable ink writing instrument further comprising a helical-cam propelling mechanism configured to move the eraser along the axis between a retracted position and a protruding position. The erasable ink is a peelable ink and the eraser is a friction body.
Non-Smear Nib and Associated Writing Instruments
Writing instruments with flexible nibs for reduced writing force in use are provided. A nib includes a nib body having a flexible upper writing portion and a lower portion in communication with the flexible upper writing portion, the lower portion of the nib body being configured to deliver ink to the flexible upper writing portion and the flexible upper writing portion being configured to deliver ink to a writing surface, wherein the flexible upper writing portion of the nib body has a flattened chisel-shaped tip at a superior end of the flexible upper writing portion, and wherein the nib is effective to deliver ink to the writing surface upon application of a force of less than about 0.1 lbs thereto.
