WRITING INSTRUMENT ATTACHMENT
A writing instrument attachment includes first and second band portions and a coupling mechanism. The first band portion include a first inner surface defining a passageway along a longitudinal axis and a first outer surface having a first outer radius that encompasses the first inner surface. The second band portion is integrally affixed to an end of the first band portion. The second band portion includes a second inner surface defining a chamber along the longitudinal axis having an inner radius that is greater than the first outer radius. The coupling mechanism includes a groove located at a first position on the second inner surface and a tab located at a second position on the outer surface. The first position and the second position are collinear.
PENCIL SHARPENER
A pencil sharpener may include a body having a first end and a second end aligned along a main axis of the body, the body having a pencil receptacle disposed at the first end and configured to releasably attach to a pencil such that a longitudinal axis of the pencil is parallel to the main axis of the body of the pencil sharpener, the body further having a bore formed therein between the first end and the second end, the bore having a bore axis oblique to the main axis; and a sharpener blade disposed adjacent the bore such that a portion of a pencil is insertable into the bore of the body to be sharpened by the sharpener blade.
Smart Closure Unit for a Writing Apparatus
The present disclosure relates to a smart closure unit for a writing apparatus. The closure unit comprises a diaphragm film, a camera and a control unit. The diaphragm film comes in contact with writing nib of the writing apparatus when the writing apparatus is closed by the closure unit. The camera captures an image of the diaphragm film when the writing nib of the writing apparatus is in contact with the diaphragm film. The control unit compares the captured image received from the camera with one or more predefined images, wherein each of the predefined images is associated with an ink intensity value. The ink intensity value indicates percentage of ink present in the writing apparatus. The control unit further detects the ink intensity value corresponding to the matched predefined image. Furthermore, a user interface in the closure unit displays one or more information related to the writing apparatus.
APPARATUS FOR SELECTABLY PROVIDING MULTIPLE COLORS OF INK FROM A MARKER PEN
A writing device can be configured to provide ink or a colored dye upon a piece of paper or other medium. Such a writing device can include a plurality of separately extendable writing elements and a housing with a plurality of holes upon a terminal end of the housing, each hole providing a dedicated outlet hole for one of the writing elements, the housing comprising one of an elliptical cross section, a circular cross section, and a rounded off square cross section.
Pen
The present invention discloses a pen having a swinging decoration. A top end of the pen is installed with an animal-shaped decoration. A mandible and a tail section of the decoration are movable. When a user writes with the pen with a small applied force or the pen is in a standstill state, the mandible and the tail section are at an upper location. When the user writes with the pen with a large applied force, a refill will push an activity rod upward and compress a spring, allowing a tooth row at an upper and lower end of the activity rod to drive a left and right conjugate gear and a gear on the decoration to rotate at a same time, which further enables the mandible and the tail section to swing downward simultaneously.
Writing device with pencil sharpener built therein
A writing device includes a body having a main axis, the body having a bore formed therein, the bore having a bore axis oblique to the main axis, and a sharpener blade operatively attached to the body at least partially within the bore, such that a pencil is insertable into the bore of the body to be sharpened by the sharpener blade.
Plant producing writing instrument and method of growing a plant
The present disclosure provides instruments, kits and methods for growing a plant. In some embodiments, a plant producing writing instrument is provided. Such writing instrument may include a housing having a writing end and an opposing non-writing end. In addition, a capsule with one or more seeds may be disposed at the non-writing end of the housing. The capsule may be degradable after placement in a moist soil to release the one or more seeds.
COVER FOR WRITING INSTRUMENT
A cover for a writing instrument having a body, a protrusion, and a decorative element. The body has a first end, a second end, an inner surface, an outer surface, and a space bounded by the inner surface. The space is operatively arranged to hold a writing instrument. The protrusion has a first end and a second end, where the first end is secured to and extends upwardly from the second end of the body. The decorative element has an extension member extending downwardly, where the extension member is secured to the second end of the protrusion. The body further includes at least one hinge means extending longitudinally about the body and at least one latch.
Writing instrument or applicator having resin molded parts
Provided is a writing instrument or an applicator using resin parts formed, by way of two-color molding, to have an optimal guiding clearance between slide members. A plurality of resin molded parts is included. At least one of the plurality of resin molded parts is formed as a primary molding, and at least another one of the resin molded parts is formed as a secondary molding, by way of two-color molding, using a portion of a surface of the primary molding. The primary molding and the secondary molding are separated to be used as independent members. In this case, the primary molding and the secondary molding are preferably configured to slide against each other by each separating portion.
Apparatus for selectably providing multiple colors of ink from a marker pen
A writing device can be configured to provide ink or a colored dye upon a piece of paper or other medium. Such a writing device can include a plurality of selectable writing elements, wherein one of the writing elements comprises marker device comprising an ink reservoir connected to a writing tip.
