DISH CLEANING BY DIRT LOCALIZATION AND TARGETING
A system and method for cleaning a dish, comprising: capturing at least one image of said dish using at least one camera; computing a bounding polygon for a dirty region in said image, wherein said dirty region is a region of said dish containing unwanted material that needs to be removed; computing a three dimensional representation of said bounding polygon by estimating three dimensional locations of multiple points within said bounding polygon; computing a spray pattern within said three dimensional representation of said bounding polygon such that the spray pattern substantially covers all regions of said three dimensional representation; and spraying a fluid on said dirty region of said dish with a nozzle, wherein said nozzle is reoriented or relocated such that said fluid reaches at least one location within said three dimensional representation of said bounding polygon according to said spray pattern, whereby dirty regions of said dish are targeted for a fast and efficient cleaning of said dish.
Dynamic Fluid Heater And Washing Appliance
A heating system for heating a target fluid may include an intermediate liquid circulation path for holding an intermediate liquid and a target fluid flow path for conveying the target fluid, where the target fluid flow path and the circulation path are separate from one another but thermally communicate with one another via a heat exchanger. The intermediate liquid may be heated by a heater and circulated in the intermediate liquid circulation path by a pump. A ratio of the maximum heat output of the heater to the volume of the intermediate liquid circulation path may be at least about 5 Watts/cm.sup.3. The thermal mass of the intermediate liquid may be 0.3 times the thermal mass of the target fluid or less. The heating system may be utilized in a washing appliance such as a dishwasher, where the target fluid is the wash water used in such appliance.
WASHING OR WASHING/STERILIZING AND DRYING OR DRYING/STERILIZING WITH OPTIONAL INDEPENDENT STERILIZATION APPARATUS WITH ROBOTIC ARMS
A washing and drying unit configured to perform at least one of washing, drying, and sterilizing, or any combination thereof includes at least one sensor configured to determine a dimension and/or shape of the object, a washing and/or sterilizing apparatus and a drying and/or sterilizing apparatus configured to direct at least one apparatus or spray of a washing and/or sterilizing or a drying and/or sterilizing fluid to the object, at least one robot arm connected to at least one of the apparatuses, and a controller operable to orient and move the at least one robot arm. A separate sterilization apparatus may be included and the sterilization may include using electrified water or water that has been exposed to ultraviolet light. The controller orients the at least one robot arm based on the dimension and/or shape determined by the at least one sensor.
Wireless power supply device and electrical apparatus having the same
A wireless power supply device includes a first housing, a transmitting coil assembly mounted in the first housing, a second housing, and a receiving coil assembly mounted in the second housing and electromagnetically coupled with the transmitting coil assembly. The first housing has a U-shaped outer contour and includes a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion. The second portion and the third portion extend perpendicularly to the first portion from opposite ends of the first portion. The second portion and the third portion form a recess between the second portion and the third portion. The second housing extends into the recess.
Spray assembly and replaceable detergent container for dishwasher
A spray assembly for a dishwasher of the kind wherein utensils are disposed inside a dishwashing chamber and a generally L-shaped spray assembly is rotated to and fro so that a horizontal leg thereof sweeps across a lower surface of the dishwashing chamber and a vertical leg of the spray assembly sweeps across a side wall of the dishwashing chamber. The spray assembly has channels for conveying detergent and hot water and further has multiple nozzles disposed along the horizontal and vertical legs for directing detergent and hot water on to the utensils inside the dishwashing chamber from multiple different directions as the spray assembly rotates. A fluid inlet coupler at an end of the spray assembly is adapted for coupling to a rotatable hub having duct connectors projecting downwardly substantially parallel to an axis of rotation of the hub and fluidly coupled to respective channels of the spray assembly.
Article Washing Device
An article washing device for countertop cleaning of nursing bottles includes a plurality of walls, which are engaged to and positioned in a housing to define a refill reservoir for holding water, a wash compartment, a drain basin positioned under and in fluidic communication with the wash compartment, a heated compartment, and a chamber within the heated compartment. A tray is selectively insertable through a slot in the housing so that the tray is in fluidic communication with the chamber. The tray holds detergent selectively delivers an effective amount of the detergent to the chamber to generate a cleaning solution. A plurality of spray arms is positioned in the wash compartment. An article is positionable over a respective spray arm. A heater selectively heats the cleaning solution and a pump selectively pumps the cleaning solution and water through the respective spray arm to clean and to rinse the article, respectively.
COMPACT DISHWASHER FOR CLEANING A FEW EATING UTENSILS
A compact dishwasher for cleaning a few eating utensils includes a wash container disposed on a base. A clean water tank is disposed on the base and in fluid communication with the wash container for supplying clean water to the wash container. A wastewater tank is disposed on the base and in fluid communication with the wash container for receiving wastewater from the wash container. A housing body encompasses the wash container, the clean water tank, and the wastewater tank. The dishwasher can further comprise a first pump for facilitating pressurized discharge of clean water in the wash container and a second pump disposed for facilitating drainage of wastewater from the wash container into the wastewater tank. A heating coil can be employed to provide hot water to the wash container. The dishwasher can further include a cleaning basket insertable through the top of the dishwasher.
WALL MOUNTED DISHWASHER
A wall mounted dishwasher incorporates storage into an exterior door of the dishwasher to facilitate user access to utensils stored in the dishwasher.
