Weighted Deformable Cleaning Device
20200359776 · 2020-11-19 ·

The weighted deformable cleaning device includes an outer sack sized to receive a weighted sack. The outer sack has an abrasive surface. The weighted sack contains a bead composition having a combination of weighted beads and cushion beads. The weighted beads are made a non-reactive heavy material and are preferably spherical in shape. The cushion beads are smaller in size than the weighted beads and are made from a lightweight material. The number of cushion beads in the weighted sack exceeds the number of the weighted beads such that the cushion beads have a higher volumetric weight in the weighted sack compared to the weighted beads.

The weighted deformable cleaning device deforms to pass through narrow openings of a container, such as a bottle. The added mass from the weighted sack allows for increased frictional cleaning forces when the container is agitated, thereby increasing the cleaning efficiency of the device.

Disclosed herein are disposable food or waste tongs. The disposable food or waste tongs include a first thimble configured to provide a space adapted to receive a finger, and a third thimble located in a direction opposite to the first thimble. Each of the thimbles has a trapezoidal shape whose width decreases toward a front end thereof when viewed in a plan view and has a side whose height increases in an inward from the front end. A first band is formed to surround the outside of the rear portion of the first thimble, and a third band is formed to surround the outside of the rear portion of the third thimble. Extension portions configured to support the lower portions of fingers or a palm are formed adjacent to the first thimble and the third thimble, respectively.

Container features for surgical instrument lubricant

An apparatus includes an external body, a floor attached to the external body, an applicator pad, and a cover. The external body defines an internal cavity and extends between a bottom and top end. The applicator pad extends from the floor into the internal cavity defined by the external body. The applicator pad has an absorbent material that can absorb an electro-lubricant. The applicator pad is dimensioned to be grasped by a pair of jaws of a surgical instrument. The cover is associated with the top end of the external body and partially defines the internal cavity of the external body. The cover allows the pair of jaws to enter the internal cavity via the cover to grasp the applicator pad.
