Pressing element
A pressing element for manufacturing laminate panels includes a metal plate with at least two sections that exhibit a surface structure suitable for forming a structure on one of the laminate panels, and having a first zone. The pressing element has separate markings for orienting the first zone, and/or in that the surface structure is obtained by way of etching, whereas the first zone is provided with a chamber by means of a milling operation, and/or in that the surface structure defines a lowest point and a highest point. The first zone includes a first chamber located at a depth below the highest point and at most 0.3 mm below the lowest point.
Marking systems and methods for fiber-based products
A method of marking a fiber-based product includes providing a heat stamp apparatus including a heating element thermally coupled to a stamping block and a temperature sensor thermally coupled to the stamping block. The system further includes a platen bearing an embossed pattern. Marking is accomplished by heating the stamping element to a predetermined temperature via the heating element and information acquired from the temperature sensor, then bringing the embossed pattern in relation to the surface of the fiber-based product (e.g., via direct contact and compression or simply very close to the surface) to form at least one of a corresponding three-dimensional contour and charred surface region.
Craftwork tools and kits
A craftwork accessory may provide a portable and/or easy-to-use tool to help users accurately and repeatedly apply stamp impressions and the like to items such as cardstock. The accessory may include a base portion, one or more elevated side portions and cover portion. The side portions may define a workspace for arranging the item. The cover portion may be movably attached to the base portion or a side portion, for example, by one or more hinges. In operation, the item and stamp may be aligned in the workspace and the cover portion may be pressed onto the stamp to stick the stamp to the cover portion. The cover may then be opened, the stamp may be inked, and the cover portion may be closed and pressed onto the item to stamp the item. The accessory may include alignment indicia on the base portion, side portions and/or cover portion to facilitate placement of the item and/or stamp. The accessory may also include fastening mechanisms, such as magnetic elements, to facilitate placement of the item and/or stamp.

ASPHALT IMPRINTING SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR CREATING A MUSICAL ROAD
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for imprinting a predefined pattern in a freshly rolled or heated asphalt surface of a traffic lane to create varying frequencies that produces musical notes are descried. A ridged steel, grid-like template can be progressively compressed into a roadway's heated and pliable asphalt surface using a drum roller or other surface compactor. The template is then manually lifted clear of the asphalt surface and the asphalt is allowed to cool to its natural hardened state. What results is a linear pattern of divots imprinted into about one-third width of either the right or left side of the traffic lane. The patterned asphalt surface can be treated with a thin coating of colored coating or legends and symbols to enhance the location of the musical notes on the roadway.

Pressing tool, workpiece, method for producing a pressing tool, and method for producing a workpiece
The disclosure relates to a pressing tool which has a structured pressing surface which is provided for producing, by pressing, a workpiece having a structured surface. At least one region of the pressing surface has a peg-shaped and/or rod-shaped structure with pegs and/or rods protruding from the pressing surface. The disclosure also relates to a workpiece which comprises a structured surface. At least one region of the structured surface comprises crater-shaped recesses in the structured surface, in order to confer a relatively matte impression on this region.

MINTING METHOD FOR PRODUCING A COIN
The present invention relates to a minting method for producing a coin (100), comprising the steps of preforming a relief (105-1, 105-2) for the coin (100); and subsequently minting the relief (105-1, 105-2) with a coin die (107-1, 107-2).
Metal decoration manufacturing apparatus and method
The present invention rapidly and reliably attaches the letters and/or figures of an original plate for a metal decoration onto leather by using a pressing apparatus and facilitates the lateral inspection of a final item onto which the leather will be attached.
