Chalk Box with Nozzle Gasket Overmold
A nozzle for a chalk box that includes a housing and a chalk reservoir may be configured to be releasably coupled with the housing. The nozzle may include a shell, and a nozzle flange assembly configured to interface with a case flange assembly of the housing to operably couple the nozzle to the housing. The nozzle flange assembly may include a locking member. A gasket portion may be integrated into the locking member to seal an interface between the nozzle flange assembly and the case flange assembly to inhibit chalk leakage from the chalk box.
Chalk Box with Improved End Hook Grip
An end hook may include a stem portion extending in a first plane from a proximal end to a distal end and an engaging portion. The end hook may be operably coupled to the measuring device at the proximal end. The engaging portion may be defined by a set of teeth having external lateral edges that define a hook width therebetween. The engaging portion may extend away from the stem portion by an engaging length. Each of the teeth may include a portion thereof that extends away from the distal end of the stem portion in a second plane that is substantially perpendicular to the first plane. Each of the teeth may further include a portion thereof, proximate to a distal end of the teeth, that bends out of the second plane to form an engaging angle. The hook width may be in a range between about 16.5 mm and about 21 mm, and the engaging angle may be greater than about 45 degrees.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR GONDOLA ALIGNMENT
A leveling assembly including a levelling bit with a first portion that engages a screw head of a levelling screw in a base of a gondola assembly and a second portion that countersinks around a portion of the leveling screw. The levelling assembly further includes an alignment measuring system configured to measure alignment of slots in the gondola assembly. The alignment measuring system includes a first bar attached to a retractable cord and a second bar movable along the cord. The first bar is shaped for insertion into a first slot of a first upright and the second bar is shaped for insertion into a second slot of a second upright. The cord is shaped to extend along a face of a third upright between the first and second upright when the first bar is inserted into the first slot and the second bar is inserted into the second slot.
Snapping chalk line angles with precision
A simple, economical, chalk line hook device is disclosed for marking straight lines, or lines at an angle, comprising a single unit having a front and back side, a top and bottom side wherein the top side has a gripping region which includes at least one, preferably two, gripping fangs for helping to secure the hook device to a straight edge or a corner of a surface to be marked. The hook device can be used by a single individual for marking surfaces of interest and the string can be pulled in multiple angles to provide clearly visible and precision lines for further use by contractors. The hook device is uniquely designed to contain a non-pointed notched region within the top gripping portion of the device, so that the chalk line is wrapped over the front side of the hook device, over the notch, and pulled downward against the back side of the hook device toward the lower hole of the hook device. It has been found that this inventive device can mark straight lines, or lines at an angle, from 3′ to over 30′ in length, or longer, by a single individual, and can be done with simplicity and precision.

Magnetic chalk line
A magnetic chalk line provides a powerfully magnetized fastener, which may be secured magnetically to any flat metal surface, such that it will remain secured when the line is drawn out of its spool and snapped. A hook end is provided which may be hooked to the edge of a surface, such as a steel plate, girder, wooden stud, or drywall sheet. A teardrop-shaped aperture is provided in the fastener, enabling the user to easily secure it to a nail head when working with wood or other non-metallic materials.

Chalk Box with Improved One-Way Valve
A chalk port for retaining chalk within a chalk reservoir of a chalk box may include an interface portion configured to interface with a housing of the chalk box to retain the chalk port in contact with the chalk box, a tapered portion extending away from the interface portion in an axial direction, and a slit assembly disposed at the tapered portion. The tapered portion may have a diameter that reduces as distance from the interface portion increases. The tapered portion may include a plurality of projections separated from each other by slits of the slit assembly. The projections may have a rest position configured to bias the slit assembly closed. Ribs may be formed to extend between the interface portion and the projections to bias the projections to the rest position.
