THERMOPLASTIC WHEEL HUB AND NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
A non-pneumatic wheel having a thermoplastic wheel hub includes a center hub for attachment to a wheel bearing of a vehicle. The center hub has a central shaft aperture extending axially therethough and a plurality of lug apertures spaced radially from and circumferentially about the central shaft aperture. The thermoplastic wheel hub also includes a plurality of ribs extending radially outwardly from the center hub. The thermoplastic wheel hub further includes a cylindrical tire mount connected to the ribs and extending axially in substantially a cylinder for mounting a non-pneumatic tire thereon.
RIM FOR A WHEEL
Herein is described a non-metallic rim for a wheel, the rim comprising: a barrel having first and second flanges extending radially outward from opposing edges of the barrel, and the barrel comprising a first bead seat and a second bead seat arranged axially inwardly, respectively, of the first and second flanges, wherein a primary structural component extends at least through the first flange and the barrel, the primary structural component being capable of bearing the majority of the radial and/or lateral load that, in use, would be borne by the rim a protective insert is disposed between an outer face of the first flange and the primary structural component and/or at least a portion of the first bead seat is spaced apart from the primary structural component and the primary structural component, bead seat and, if present, the protective insert are bound by a polymer matrix.
CAR SEAT MOBILITY SYSTEM
The present application includes a system and method for transporting a car seat outside of a vehicle. The system includes a wheel assembly configured to couple to a portion of the car seat. The wheel assembly attaches to existing base attachment portions on the car seat to minimize any need for retrofit operations. The system further includes a mobility handle configured to adjust in length and couple to a portion of the car seat. The mobility handle is designed to allow an individual to guide and control the movement of the car seat on the wheel assembly.
ROLLER UNIT HAVING INTEGRATED FASTENING PORTION
A roller unit having an integrated fastening portion includes a supporting shaft fastened to a containing body or a containing main body that can slide and having first and second flanges formed in multi steps with different outer diameters, a rotating body rotatably fixed to a side of the supporting shaft, and a washer coupled to a side of the rotating body to surround and fix the second flange, thereby preventing separation of the supporting shaft and the rotating body. Therefore, it is possible to more conveniently combine the supporting shaft and the rotating body and to prevent separation of the supporting shaft and the rotating body, whereby is possible to improve various functions.
Hubless wheel
The invention discloses a wheel structure and a scooter comprising the wheel structure. The wheel structure comprises: an inner rim having a first inner annular face and a first outer annular face that are arranged radially, the first inner annular face is hollow and provided with an interface for connecting to a steering mechanism of the scooter; an outer rim having a second inner annular face which is arranged radially and a second outer annular face for contacting the ground; wherein an intermediate connecting assembly is disposed between the first outer annular face of the inner rim and the second inner annular face of the outer rim, and the outer rim, without need for hub, contacts the inner rim in a rolling manner via the intermediate connecting assembly and is rotatable relative to the inner rim. The wheel structure does not contain a hub and presents a hollow visual effect of the wheel.
LOW GRAVITY ALL-SURFACE VEHICLE
Vehicles are disclosed which have a lower center of gravity than existing all-terrain, amphibious, and unmanned ground vehicles due to the location of propulsion units and other vehicle components inside the wheels of the vehicle. The vehicles can climb over large obstacles yet are also able to corner at high speeds. The vehicles can be configured for direct manual operation or operation by remote control, and can also be configured for a wide variety of missions.
Universal Multi-Terrain Brake System (UBS) with Adjustable Wheel Traction (AWT)
This invention relates to a universal brake system (UBS) that combines features from an adjustable wheel traction system (WTS) and an improved anti-lock brake (ABS) system. The WTS provides a plurality of extendable and retractable spikes contained in a wheel assembly or wheel adapter to increase traction (friction) between a vehicle's wheel and its supporting surface. To further improve wheel traction each wheel spike has different types of changeable heads for different types of terrain and road surfaces. When operating in dry road mode, the UBS operates as an anti-lock braking system except the spikes can operate during emergency braking to provide additional traction between the tire and wheel support surface. When operating in slippery road mode, the UBS activates the WTS for increase traction control and utilize an improved computer controlled anti-lock braking system to alternate between wheel lock and anti-lock brake with skid control to provide the ultimate solution to decreasing a vehicle's stopping distance and controlling a vehicle's skid on slippery and dry road surfaces.

Bicycle training wheel assembly
A training wheel assembly includes an assembly frame and a training wheel rotatably attached to the assembly frame. The training wheel has a wheel axle extending therefrom and defining an axis about which the training wheel rotates, and an annular hub concentric with the wheel axle and rotationally fixed therewith. A plurality of successive ratcheted teeth facing the assembly frame form a circumferential inner edge of the wheel. An elastically deflectable tongue is attached to the assembly frame and is selectively extendible into a rotational path of motion of the ratcheted teeth, whereby upon rotation of the training wheel with respect to the assembly frame about the axis, contact of the elastically deflectable tongue with successive teeth of the plurality of ratcheted teeth generates an audible sound indicating that the training wheel is rotating.
Furniture rotary system having reduced friction, and a piece of furniture comprising such system
A furniture rotary system for a piece of furniture is provided. The furniture rotary system is forming a sliding rotary connection between a rotational member and a stationary member wherein said furniture rotary system comprises at least one sliding surface being coated with a lacquer comprising a resin, wherein said lacquer in turn is at least partly coated with a lipophilic composition coating to provide a slide layer with a lowered friction.
