The present disclosure is directed to a device and a method of using the device. The device includes a substantially circular ring dimensioned to extend around an outer flange of an automobile rim, the substantially circular ring comprising a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, an adhesive that covers at least a portion of the first surface and a first post extending substantially orthogonally from the first surface of the substantially circular ring, the first post configured to extend into a space between the outer flange and an automobile tire.

INSERT RUBBER FOR IMPROVING AERODYNAMICS OF TIRE AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF
An insert rubber for improving aerodynamics of a tire and an installation method thereof, and provides an insert rubber for improving aerodynamics of a tire and an installation method thereof, in which, by eliminating a space which is located between a bead of a tire and a flange of a rim, airflow is prevented from being introduced between the bead and the flange while a vehicle travels, and the space between the bead and the flange is filled with the insert rubber, thereby preventing turbulence from being generated in the space between the bead and the flange.
RIM PROTECTOR
The present specification relates generally to protective wheel accessories, and specifically to an improved apparatus for protecting a rim of a wheel of a vehicle. The rim protector includes a flexible strip with a rim protector portion, which is disposed along a length of the flexible strip and is configured to be seatable on and abut an outer surface of a circumference of a rim of a wheel. Opposite the rim protector portion, the flexible strip has an insertion edge, which is insertable between the rim of the wheel and a tire. The rim protector also includes a fastening mechanism, which allows the flexible strip to be securable in a substantially circular configuration, and at least one set of teeth disposed along a longitudinal axis of the flexible strip. A related method of installing a rim protector for a rim of a wheel of a vehicle is also described.
RIM PROTECTOR
The present specification relates generally to protective wheel accessories, and specifically to an improved apparatus for protecting a rim of a wheel of a vehicle. The rim protector includes a flexible strip with a rim protector portion, which is disposed along a length of the flexible strip and is configured to be seatable on and abut an outer surface of a circumference of a rim of a wheel. Opposite the rim protector portion, the flexible strip has an insertion edge, which is insertable between the rim of the wheel and a tire. The rim protector also includes a fastening mechanism, which allows the flexible strip to be securable in a substantially circular configuration, and at least one set of teeth disposed along a longitudinal axis of the flexible strip. A related method of installing a rim protector for a rim of a wheel of a vehicle is also described.
Shielding assembly for side of tire
A shielding structure for a wheel having a turning axis, a rim, and a tire mounted to the rim for rolling against an underlying surface. The wheel has axially oppositely facing sides. A mounting assembly is attached to the rim to move as one piece therewith. A plurality of shielding components are attached to the mounting assembly to overlie at least a part of the tire at one of the axially oppositely facing sides of the wheel. At least one of the shielding components is made from a non-metal material and a reinforcing element.
Shielding assembly for side of tire
A shielding structure for a wheel having a turning axis, a rim, and a tire mounted to the rim for rolling against an underlying surface. The wheel has axially oppositely facing sides. A mounting assembly is attached to the rim to move as one piece therewith. A plurality of shielding components are attached to the mounting assembly to overlie at least a part of the tire at one of the axially oppositely facing sides of the wheel. At least one of the shielding components is made from a non-metal material and a reinforcing element.
SHIELDING ASSEMBLY FOR SIDE OF A TIRE
The combination of: a wheel with a tire mounted on a rim; a mounting assembly that moves with the rim and defines in conjunction with the rim a mounting unit; a plurality of shielding components, each having a reinforcing element and attached to the mounting assembly to overlie a part of the tire at one side of the wheel; and a first fastener securing each shielding component to the mounting assembly. The mounting unit and each shielding component have axially overlapping and oppositely facing surfaces in confronting relationship that cooperate and thereby confine relative movement between the shielding components and the mounting unit.
SHIELDING ASSEMBLY FOR SIDE OF A TIRE
The combination of: a wheel with a tire mounted on a rim; a mounting assembly that moves with the rim and defines in conjunction with the rim a mounting unit; a plurality of shielding components, each having a reinforcing element and attached to the mounting assembly to overlie a part of the tire at one side of the wheel; and a first fastener securing each shielding component to the mounting assembly. The mounting unit and each shielding component have axially overlapping and oppositely facing surfaces in confronting relationship that cooperate and thereby confine relative movement between the shielding components and the mounting unit.
Aero ring inserts for wheel aerodynamics
An air deflection ring that is configured to be attached to a wheel of a motor vehicle that includes a barrel including a cylindrical inner surface and an opposing cylindrical outer surface, a plurality of spokes that are each separated by an opening and attach the barrel to a center of the wheel. The air deflection ring includes a cylindrical mounting ring that is configured to be fixed to the cylindrical inner surface of the barrel, and an air deflection flange that extends radially inwardly toward the center of the wheel from the cylindrical mounting ring. The cylindrical mounting ring is configured to be fixed to the cylindrical inner surface of the barrel at a location positioned immediately adjacent to the plurality of spokes, and the air deflection flange is configured to direct a flow of air away from the openings during rotation of the wheel.
