Wheel rim protective disk
A wheel rim protective disk having a reinforcement spine continuously disposed from a wheel side to a depth less than a thickness of the protective disk. A first embodiment mounts to a wheel having a channel with a second width substantially conforming to a width of the protective disk, and a second depth less than the thickness of the protective disk. A plurality of receiving apertures is disposed through the channel to align with a plurality of mounting apertures in the protective disk. In an alternative embodiment, the protective disk mounts to a mounting disk that in turn mounts to a second wheel having a second plurality of mounting apertures. The mounting disk has the channel, the lower section and the plurality of receiving apertures. In a second alternative embodiment, the protective disk mounts to a 3D printed, contoured mounting disk that in turn mounts to a standard factory wheel.
WHEEL TRIM RETENTION CAP
A cap for retaining a wheel trim with a wheel includes a body portion which slides inside a central opening defined by a hub portion of the wheel trim. The body portion has a first end and a second end. The cap includes at least one engagement portion coupled to the body portion. The at least one engagement portion engages with an internal wall of the hub portion. The cap includes at least one retaining tab coupled to the body portion towards the second end of the body portion. The at least one retaining tab extends radially outwards from the second end of the body portion. The cap further includes a holding portion coupled to the body portion towards the first end. The holding portion extends radially outwards from the body portion such that the holding portion abuts a disc portion of the wheel trim.
CASING PROTECTING A WHEEL RIM BEING PAINTED FROM SCRATCHING AGAINST ELEMENTS OF AN AUTOMATIC PAINTING LINE, PRIOR TO PAINTING
A casing protecting a wheel rim being painted from scratching against elements of an automatic painting line, prior to painting, including a monolithic round shield (1) made of polyamide reinforced with glass fibres with a ring-like shoulder located vertically on its outer perimeter (2), and an outer hollowed profile shoulder (3) within the symmetry axis, created from a ring-like part (4) turning into a section of a truncated taper (5) closed in its upper end, and this ring-like shoulder (2), in its lower face (10), comes with at least three shoulders directed to the inside of this ring-like part of the shoulder (11) or (11) which operate as latches evenly distributed on the circumference of the ring-like shoulder (2); and three cylindrical metal bars (12) protruding over its both surfaces will be sealed in this casing shield (1) to create an equilateral triangle profile with truncated vertices encompassing the profile shoulder (3).
Thermoplastic transparent resin composition for wheel rust cover and method for preparing the same
The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic transparent resin composition for a wheel rust cover. The thermoplastic transparent resin composition is excellent in transparency and impact strength and suitable for a vacuum compression thermal molding process. A thermoplastic transparent resin composition for a wheel rust cover includes 20 wt % to 60 wt % of a graft copolymer, 40 wt % to 70 wt % of a non-graft copolymer, and 3 wt % to 10 wt % of a processing aid, in which a total rubber content is 10 wt % to 25 wt %, a total methacrylic acid alkyl ester compound content is 34 wt % to 67 wt %, a total aromatic vinyl compound content is 16 wt % to 40 wt %, and a total vinyl cyan compound content is 0 wt % to 10 wt %.

Aircraft wheel hub cap attachment flange stress relieving pockets
An outboard wheel half has an axis and includes an outboard wheel structure configured to receive at least a portion of a tire. The outboard wheel half also includes a structure defining an alignment hole usable to align a hubcap relative to the structure. The structure defines a pocket circumferentially aligned with the alignment hole to reduce an amount of stress at a location of the alignment hole.
TRIM PART WITH LOCKING SLIDE ON A MOTOR VEHICLE RIM
Decorative trim panel on a motor vehicle rim (1), consisting of at least one plate-shaped trim part (9, 10) which at least partially covers the visible side of the motor vehicle rim (1) and which can be settleable in a load-transmitting manner to the spokes (2, 3) and/or to the rim ring (6) of the rim (1) by means of counter holding and/or latching means (14, 74, 75), wherein the counter holding means on the trim part side are formed from at least one latching foot (14) which is integrally formed on the surface of the trim part (9, 10), a hook head (107) integrally formed thereon, and in that the latching foot (14) is part of a latching connection (74) on the trim part (9, 10), the bending of which is effected by a locking slide (91, 101) which is formed to be displaceable and lockable in a latching gap (72) of the latching connection (74) and selectively consolidates or releases the latching connection (74) and therby bends or returns the latching foot (14) towards the rim side.
