Wheel apparatus for self-propelled irrigation system
A wheel apparatus for a self-propelled irrigation system has a center portion, a rim assembly, and a support structure disposed between the center portion and the rim assembly. The rim assembly has a plurality of rigid members spaced apart from each other with longitudinal axes that are parallel with each other and equidistant from the axis of rotation. The rigid members are cylindrical with unsupported ends, and a mounting portion between the ends is connected to an outer periphery of the support structure. The rigid members are held in a fixed position relative to the center portion by the support structure. The rigid members are arranged to contact the ground surface to support the irrigation system with spaces between the rigid members allowing mud and debris to pass freely between the rigid members during operation to enhance traction while minimizing mud from being forced out of a wheel track.
TRACTION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A vehicle traction system that is operably coupled to a vehicle and is deployable to assist in providing improved traction on surfaces such as but not limited to snow or ice. The present invention includes a housing that is annular in diameter and mounted intermediate inner and outer dual wheel flanges. Movably coupled with the housing are a plurality of connection members. The connection members have secured thereto tractions pads. The connection members are configured to extend outward to place the traction pads in position to engage a surface on which the vehicle is superposed. The connection members include an engagement plate distally mounted from the traction pads. The connection members are configured to extend outward to place the traction pads in position to engage a surface on which the vehicle is superposed. The connection members include an engagement plate distally mounted from the traction pads. An air bladder is adjacent the engagement plate and is operable to transition the connection member to its second position. A biasing member is operably coupled with the connection member and is configured to return the connection member to its first position.
Portable escape device for self-rescue in case of auto tyre being trapped in pit
A portable escape device is provided for self-rescue in the case of an auto tyre being trapped in a pit. The portable escape device includes support posts, a clamping device fitted to the support posts, and a jacking device fitted to the clamping device. The support posts are fixedly mounted onto spokes. The clamping device clamps an auto tyre. The jacking device protrudes and extends out of a top face of a tyre portion. The portable escape device can release the trapped auto tyre and perform self-rescue fast and reliably, and it is convenient to carry.
Escape device for self-rescue in case of auto tyre being trapped in pit
An escape device for self-rescue in the case of an auto tyre being trapped in a pit includes a central positioning device, at least one tyre claw and a jacking device. The central positioning device is positioned and mounted at a central position of a wheel. The tyre claw and the central positioning device are fitted to each other and are clamped onto the tyre. The jacking device and the tyre claw are fitted to each other. The jacking device is further provided with a jacking head in contact with the pit ground. The jacking head protrudes out of an external rim of the tyre. The escape device for self-rescue can carry out effective rescue for trapped tyres, is convenient and fast to assemble and disassemble, saves time and energy, improves driving safety, and reduces the occurrence of accidents.
EMERGENCY WHEEL
The invention relates to an attachment (14) for a vehicle wheel (1) for enabling a driving operation with restricted tire functions and to a system comprising an attachment (14) and a rim (2) of a vehicle wheel (1).
MECHANICAL AUXILIARY TRACTION SYSTEM
An auxiliary traction system for imparting auxiliary traction to a vehicle, the system including: a first traction assembly including a first tire and a wheel, the wheel is placed inside the first tire; a second traction assembly including a second tire; a second wheel having a first end connected to the wheel of the first traction assembly and a second end passing through the second tire; the first end of the second wheel has a first flange having a convex shape that fits into a central hole of the wheel; and the second end of the second wheel has a second flange having a concave shape.
Auxiliary traction apparatus
An apparatus providing auxiliary traction to a riding lawnmower or similarly light off-road vehicle having a drive wheel with a hub anchored to a drive axle. The apparatus generally includes at least one traction bar having a pair of traction ends equally spaced beyond the outer circumference of the wheel. The traction bar anchored to a carrier mounted to the hub of the drive wheel. A traction bar of variable length may be achieved by having two traction arms, one telescopically received within the other, with a length-locking means such as retainer pins inserted through aligned bores extending through the overlapping traction arms and the carrier mounted to the hub.
