WIND-BREAKING RIM, WHEEL AND BICYCLE
The disclosure provides a wind-breaking rim, a wheel and a bicycle. The wind-breaking rim includes a plurality of rim wave profiles. The plurality of rim wave profiles extend from an inner ring spoke mounting portion to two rim side walls and are symmetrically distributed with a rim width center surface as a plane of symmetry. The plurality of rim wave profiles are continuously arranged to form an annular wind-breaking structure. The rim wave profiles include adjacent crest portions and trough portions. A rim inner ring and the rim side walls having wave profiles can greatly reduce wind resistance.
RIM SPOKE
Provided is a rim spoke, including a spoke rope and nipples. Mounting heads are fixedly sleeved on both ends of the spoke rope; through mounting holes are formed in the nipples; the nipples are fixedly sleeved on the mounting heads by means of the mounting holes; and the spoke rope is made of a textile fiber material. When the textile fiber spoke rope in a high tension state is subjected to a heavy impact, part of an impact force is cushioned due to the flexibility and strength margin of the spoke rope itself, so that the original characteristics of the spoke rope can still be kept under an extreme impact force without irreversible deformation, thereby reducing riding failure rate of riding, ensuring the riding safety, reducing the daily maintenance requirement of a wheel, and reducing costs.
RIM STRUCTURE FOR BIKE
A rim structure for a bike is revealed. It comprises a rim having two side walls, a connection wall for connecting opposite end faces of the two side walls, an inner wall for connecting the inner edges of the two side walls, and a space defined by the two side walls, the connection wall and the inner wall. The inner wall has a plurality of evenly-spaced spokes thereon, each of which has a head located inside the space. The space is filled with a foam material.
Wheel component for a wheel of a two-wheeled vehicle operated at least in part by muscular energy, and a wheel, and a method
A wheel component for a wheel of an at least partially muscle-powered two-wheeled vehicle, including a rim provided to be connected with a hub by means of spokes, the rim including a rim base with a plurality of spoke socket sections having one spoke hole each, to which the spokes can be attached by means of spoke nipples. The wheel component includes at least one washer for placement between a spoke socket section and a spoke nipple. The washer includes a through hole extending between a top face and a bottom face. The rim base includes two opposite rim flanks extending obliquely relative to one another. In its bottom face, the washer shows a canted support flank at least in sections. The washer can be supported on the rim flanks by means of its support flank such that only the support flank bears against, and contacts, the rim.
Bicycle rim adapted to reduce spoke fatigue
A bicycle rim comprising a circumferential outer portion adapted to receive a tire and a spoke bed. The spoke bed may comprise a pattern of spoke attachment segments at varying tilt angles and spaced by intermediate segments. Each spoke attachment segment may comprise an inner surface, an outer surface and a spoke opening extending from the inner surface to the outer surface. The spoke opening may be sized to accommodate a spoke nipple. The spoke opening may have a central axis angled at a complex angle that is a combination of a respective camber angle and a respective crossing angle. The complex angle may be selected to achieve a respective spoke angle. The outer surface of the spoke attachment segment adjacent to the spoke opening may extend perpendicular to the central axis of the spoke opening.
Spoke wheel
A spoke wheel for a straddle-type vehicle includes a rim having an outer peripheral surface on which a tire is mounted and an annular shape, a hub supported by an axle on an inner side of the rim and having a tubular shape, and a plurality of wire spokes connecting the rim to the hub. The rim is formed with a plurality of spoke holes through which the plurality of wire spokes pass and support surfaces receiving head portions of the plurality of wire spokes on one end sides of the plurality of spoke holes. Each of the support surfaces has a groove shape extending in a wheel rotation direction.
Vehicle wheel spoke connection
A vehicle wheel having a rim, a hub, a plurality of spokes extending between said rim and said hub, rim and/or hub includes a spoke bed wall with an outboard bed surface, an inboard bed surface, and a spoke hole therethrough having a longitudinally inboard entrance. The spoke includes: a first spoke portion and a second spoke portion longitudinally inboard of the first spoke portion and laterally outboard of the first spoke portion, including a transition surface therebetween. The spoke extends through the spoke hole and at least a portion of the transition surface is longitudinally outboard of the inboard entrance and the spoke is connected to the rim and/or hub at the first spoke portion.
WIRE WHEEL FOR TUBELESS TIRE
A wire wheel for a tubeless tire has a wheel rim, multiple connecting pins, a hub, and multiple wire spokes. The wheel rim has multiple interior protrusions protruding inward and each having a mounting hole for receiving a corresponding connecting pin and a thickening portion adjacent to the mounting hole to enhance the strength of the wheel rim. Each connecting pin has a first connecting hole. The hub has connecting protrusions located on its periphery and divided into two groups, each group arranged circularly, and each connecting protrusion has two second connecting holes each forming a containing groove. Each wire spoke can be designed straight, has two opposite ends respectively connected to the first connecting hole and the second connecting hole aligned with each other, and has an engaging head and a leading portion configured to lead the engaging head into the containing groove.
Wheel With Flexible Wide-Body Spokes
A wheel with flexible spokes, including a rim and hub, and spokes between the rim and hub made of fibrous material that causes the spokes to be both lighter in weight and stronger than comparable steel spokes. The spokes are also flexible and resilient such that they can bend while retaining their integrity and strength.
