SPINDLE SLEEVE WITH SLEEVE WASHER FOR ROTATIONAL ALIGNMENT
An apparatus for a vehicle is provided that includes an axle with a keyway. A spindle sleeve is present that has a spindle sleeve inner surface axis coaxial with the axis of the axle. A spindle sleeve outer surface axis is not coaxial with the axis of the axle, and the spindle sleeve has a sleeve washer that has a keyway tab. A retaining nut is in selective rotating communication with the sleeve washer such that rotation of the retaining nut is communicated to the sleeve washer to cause the spindle sleeve to rotate relative to the axle when the retaining nut is in rotating communication with the sleeve washer. Rotation of the retaining nut is not communicated the sleeve washer to cause the spindle sleeve to rotate relative to the axle when the retaining nut is not in rotating communication with the sleeve washer.
Wheel bearing for a motor vehicle
A wheel bearing for a motor vehicle is provided with an outer ring, an inner ring arranged at least partially inside the outer ring, and with a longitudinal axis extending in the axial direction of the outer ring and of the inner ring from a vehicle inner side to a vehicle outer side. The inner ring is provided with a flange section on its end facing the vehicle inner side having a first section at the point that is farthest from axial center of the outer ring, and with a second section which forms a contact surface for attaching a brake disk. The flange section is formed stepped in such a way, so that the contact surface for attaching the brake disk is arranged offset relative to the section of the flange section at the farthest point from the axial center of the outer ring in the axial direction toward the vehicle inner side, and so that an at least a partially circumferential projection is located on the side opposite the contact surface for attaching the brake disk.

A rolling-element bearing unit for a wheel bearing assembly of a vehicle includes a first rolling-element bearing having an outer bearing ring and an inner bearing ring and rolling elements disposed between the outer bearing ring and the inner bearing ring and a first seal element having a seal-element base body having a first support member mounted to an axial outer surface of the inner bearing ring and a first seal lip pressed against a radial end surface of the outer bearing ring to hold the outer bearing ring in position relative to the inner bearing ring. Also a wheel bearing assembly including two such rolling element bearing units.

The outer diameter DO of the annular groove 15 is larger than the diameter DDI of the inscribed circle of the opening portion outside in the axial direction of the water drain holes 17a and is smaller than the diameter DDO of the circumscribed circle of the opening portion outside in the axial direction of the water drain holes 17a.

Face seal with installation pilot for a wheel assembly of a work vehicle
A face seal for use within a wheel assembly may include an inner sealing ring and an outer sealing ring. The outer sealing ring may include a first flange, a second flange and an outer cylindrical portion extending between the first and second flanges. The outer cylindrical portion may include a first cylindrical section extending axially from the first flange and a second cylindrical section extending axially between the first cylindrical section and the second flange. The face seal may also include an inner elastomeric ring and an outer elastomeric ring having an axial portion extending radially outwardly from the second cylindrical section of the outer cylindrical portion. Additionally, the axial portion may be radially offset from the first cylindrical section of the outer cylindrical portion such that an outer surface of the first cylindrical section is spaced radially outwardly relative to an outer surface of the axial portion.
LOCK NUT WITH OFFSET RETAINING RING
A lock nut system includes a nut having a retaining member which includes a keeper having locking teeth configured to engage with the lock nut teeth. The locking teeth are offset in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction to allow the lock nut to be locked into position on the shaft without further rotation or other adjustment of the nut.
WHEEL HUB BEARING UNIT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The disclosure concerns a wheel hub bearing unit of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one roller bearing for mounting a wheel hub. The roller bearing contains an outer ring which, on an outer peripheral face, is at least partially equipped with a first threaded element and at least one inner ring, and a wheel carrier with a mounting hole. A wall of the mounting hole is at least partially equipped with a second threaded element that is provided for mechanical engagement with the first threaded element. According to the disclosure, the outer ring and the wheel carrier each have at least one contact face, which are provided to come into mutual mechanical contact when the roller bearing is mounted in the wheel carrier.
HUB, IN PARTICULAR FOR BICYCLES
A hub for bicycles including a hub shell which is rotatably supported relative to a hub axle, a rotor rotatably supported relative to the hub axle by means of two rotor bearings, and a freewheel device having two interacting freewheel components namely, a hub-side freewheel component and a rotor-side freewheel component. The two freewheel components each include axial engagement elements and they are movable relative to one another in the axial direction between a freewheel position and an intermeshing engaging position. Rolling members are provided for defined accommodation in the hub-side freewheel component to support the hub shell relative to the hub axle. An attachment portion and a centering portion are configured in the hub shell and an attachment area and a centering area are configured on the hub-side freewheel component. The attachment area is connected with the attachment portion and the centering area is centered on the centering portion.
