Wheels for non-motorized vehicles
A wheel for a non-motorized vehicle (e.g., a shopping cart) can include a housing assembly and a tread assembly. The housing assembly can be configured to sealingly house electronics or other components. The tread assembly can removably mate with the housing assembly such that the electronics or other components remain closed and/or sealed within the housing assembly when the tread assembly is mated or unmated with the housing assembly.
Caster
The invention provides a caster comprising a bracket, a first transmission device and two wheels. The two wheels are connected by a transmission screw and are fixed to the bracket. The first transmission device comprises an annular retaining portion and a plurality of first balls, the plurality of first balls are equiangularly arranged in a circumferential direction of the annular retaining portion, and opposite sides of the annular retaining portion are respectively embedded in the respective wheels. The caster of the invention can solve the problems in the prior art that it is difficult to control the gap between the two wheels, the resistance generated between the two wheels is large and noise is easily generated.
Work vehicle
A work vehicle includes a pair of left and right pivotal connecting units provided on a front frame, a caster wheel, a caster axle and a caster bracket connected to the pivotal connecting unit. The caster bracket includes side walls supporting the caster axle, a top wall extending rearwards from the upper side of the caster wheel and interconnecting the left side wall and the right side wall, and left and right cover portions for covering gaps between the side walls and the caster wheel.
Smart wheel
A smart wheel is provided, including a main body, at least one wheel body and a GPS module. The main body includes a pin and a wheel seat, and the wheel seat is connected with the pin. The at least one wheel body is pivoted to the wheel seat along an axial direction. The GPS module is arranged on the main body and includes a GPS chip.
Bearing pusher assembly, and product display including a bearing pusher assembly
A bearing pusher assembly for moving product in a channel of a product display apparatus. The product display apparatus can have a tray component and a spring, the bearing pusher assembly to be coupled with the spring and moveable with respect to the tray component. The spring provides a resilience force to the tray component and the bearing pusher assembly upon deformation. The bearing pusher assembly includes a pusher body, an axle coupled to the pusher body, and a ball bearing coupled to the axle and rotatably moveable with respect to the tray component. Also disclosed is a product display apparatus including the bearing pusher assembly.
Method for setting pinion gear preload using ultrasonic equipment
A method for assembling an axle assembly for a vehicle including that a pinion gear is inserted into a differential housing. The pinion gear having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The pinion gear further includes a gear head at the first end, external threads proximate the second end, and external splines located a first distance away from the second end. The method further includes that a flange is slid over the second end of the pinion gear. The flange including internal splines. The method also includes that the internal splines of the flange are engaged with the external splines of the pinion gear and the flange is anchored to prevent the flange and the pinion gear from rotating. The method may further include that ultrasonic sound waves are transmitted through the pinion gear and reflections of the ultrasonic sound waves are detected.
Sleeve for Wheel
A wheel assembly has a wheel with a hub. A rotation surface disposed in the hub has a bore. A sleeve insertable in the bore of the rotation surface has an outer surface with a circumferential groove and first and second opposite axial ends. The first axial end has a shoulder extending radially outward. A resilient ring disposed in the circumferential groove is compressible to a compression diameter sufficient to enable the sleeve to be inserted in the bore of the rotation surface. The resilient ring is expandable to an expansion diameter greater than the inner surface diameter of the bore of the rotation surface when unconstrained. The circumferential groove is spaced from the shoulder at a distance sufficient to enable the resilient ring to expand to the expansion diameter when the sleeve is inserted in the bore of the rotation surface and the shoulder is adjacent the rotation surface.
A CASTER WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A caster-wheel assembly (100; 200) for a vehicle, for example a wheelchair or powered wheelchair. The caster-wheel assembly comprises a switch (13) coupled to a housing (3); a castering wheel bracket (9) configured to receive a wheel (10), wherein the bracket is rotatably mounted about a caster pivot axis (28) with respect to the housing; biasing means (15) configured to provide a biasing force such that the wheel bracket is biased away from the housing; and a switch-actuating member (13) coupled to the wheel bracket such that movement of the wheel bracket towards the housing and against the biasing force causes the switch-actuating member to actuate the switch.
Augmented High Strength Caster with Dual Offset Orbital Mounting Assembly
In a heavy duty orbital caster assembly that includes a rotatable wheel unit joined to a transfer plate that pivots about a mounting post extending from a mounting plate adapted to be secured to the bottom surface of an object, the improvement comprising a pair of roller bearing assemblies that extend upwardly from the upper surface of the transfer plate adjacent to the caster wheel post as it extends through its bearing. The rollers impinge on the lower surface of the mounting plate, and serve to transfer some of the load of the supported object directly to the caster wheel, enabling the support of very heavy loads.
CASTER HUB
A caster hub is provided that includes a housing having a wall with internal and external surfaces and an axial bore defined by the wall. First and second bearings are disposed coaxially in the bore of the housing. Each bearing has a cylindrical inner race and a cylindrical outer race, with the races separated by rolling elements, and the races defining interior and exterior radial end faces of the bearings. A seat is disposed in the bore that is connected to the internal surface of the wall between the first and second bearings. The seat is engageable with the outer races of the bearings at the confronting interior end faces of the bearings. An inner spacer is disposed in the bore between the first and second bearings, the inner spacer being engageable with the inner races of the bearings at the confronting interior end faces of the bearings.
