Caster
A caster for equipment, furniture and medical equipment, the caster including a support arm that includes a base portion and a top portion and receives an attachment bolt wherein the base portion supports a wheel axle that supports at least one wheel; a direction fixing device; and a movable blocking element configured to lock the direction fixing device, wherein the moveable blocking element is in direct or indirect friction contact with the wheel so that a friction force that is caused by the friction contact causes a locking of the direction fixing device and a direction fixing of the caster in a first direction when the caster moves in the first direction.
CASTER WHEEL BRAKE AND ANTI-SWIVEL SYTEM
A caster wheel brake and anti-swivel system for carts and other wheeled articles is operable to secure free-castering wheels against swiveling rotation about their swivel axes, and against rolling rotation along their horizontal rotation axes. The system includes a swiveling caster wheel assembly and an actuation link, with an anti-swivel actuator and a brake actuator coupled thereto. Linear movement of the actuation link causes the anti-swivel actuator to engage the anti-swivel member that rotates with the caster wheel about the swivel axis, to selectively prevent the anti-swivel member and wheel from swiveling. The actuation link's movement also urges a brake actuator to move a wheel brake and drives a braking surface into engagement with the wheel, thereby preventing the wheel from rolling at the same time it is prevented from swiveling by the pawl. Optionally, a foot-operated torque shaft and a rack-and-pinion arrangement are used to operate the actuation link.
Wheel steering angle adjustment device for vehicle operated by man power
This application relates to a wheel steering angle adjustment device for a vehicle operated by manpower. The device may include a fixed body including a rotation support, a rotation body, a lift member coupled to the rotation support, a locking switch coupled to the lift member, and a plurality of fixing groove portions in the outer peripheral surface of the rotation support. The device may also include a fixing protrusion protruding from the locking switch and configured to be detachably coupled to the fixing groove portions, a rotation range limiting stopper provided on a lower portion of the lift member, and a rotation guide groove portion provided concavely in an upper surface of the rotation body. As the rotation range limiting stopper becomes stuck on an end portion of the rotation guide groove portion, an angle by which the rotation body is rotatable relative to the fixed body is limited.

Lockable wheels and subject support lifts including a lockable wheel
A subject support lift includes a mast portion, a base portion, and a lockable wheel assembly coupled to the base portion. The lockable wheel assembly includes an axle member, a lockable wheel coupled to the axle member, and a pivot member pivotally coupled to the lockable wheel and defining an axis extending in a vertical direction, where the lockable wheel is rotatable about the axis defined by the pivot member. A locking member is coupled to one of the pivot member or the lockable wheel, the locking member being repositionable between a locked position, in which the locking member engages the other of the pivot member or the lockable wheel, and an unlocked position, in which the locking member is spaced apart from the other of the pivot member or the lockable wheel.
CASTER COMPRISING A RUNNING WHEEL
A caster includes a running wheel, a fork and an assembly journal, wherein the fork is pivotable in relation to the assembly journal and a braking device is arranged in the fork and can be displaced into the braking position via a tappet actuated by a trip cam. A direction lock can be set without a braking action on the running wheel. Two tappets are movable independently of each other, wherein only the direction lock without a braking action can be set via one of the tappets. Another caster includes a running wheel, a fork and an assembly journal, wherein a braking device is provided in the fork and can be displaced into the braking position via a trip cam. The braking device has a first braking part for friction-locking action on the running wheel and a second braking part for the interlocking lock of the running wheel.
Magnetically alignable swivel caster
A swivel caster (1) including a support plate (2) for connection to a container, and including a caster mount (3) having a caster (6) rotatable about a horizontal rotation axis (H). The caster mount (3) is connected to the support plate (2) rotatable about a vertical rotation axis (V). At least one first magnet (15a) is connected to the caster mount (3) and at least one second magnet (15b) is connected to the support plate (2). The magnets (15a, 15b) are magnetized and disposed so as to be mutually parallel including a gap in such in an alignment of the caster mount outside a defined basic alignment (G) of the caster mount (3) the magnets (15a, 15b) interact such that the caster mount (3) swings into basic alignment (G). The caster mount (3) has a cover plate (11) which collectively with the saucer (9) of the support plate (2) and with the mounting plate (7) encloses an intermediate space for the magnets (15a, 15b). The cover plate (11) has two legs (17a, 17b) which extend in the direction of the horizontal rotation axis (H) of the caster (6). Each leg (17a, 17b) has a free end (18a, 18b) remote from the cover plate (11) is connected to the caster mount (3) via a connector.
Dynamic Rotary Locking Member
A selectively locking rotational bearing element includes at least one bearing element supporting an outer race for rotational movement and a plurality of locking elements disposed circumferentially about an inner surface of the outer race. An actuator selectively moves the plurality of locking elements into engagement with the outer race to restrict rotational movement of the outer race and selectively move the plurality of locking elements away from engagement with the outer race such that the outer race is free to rotate relative to the locking elements.
