Wheelchair caster assembly
A caster assembly for a wheelchair comprises a stem having a frame clamp at a first end and a fork clamp at a second end, the frame clamp configured to form a frame joint with at least one rotational degree of freedom with a frame portion of the wheelchair, a tightening of the frame clamp securing the stem to the frame portion, the frame joint having a frame rotational axis. A fork unit has a fork portion and a caster rotatably supported by the fork portion, the fork unit having swivel mechanism, and a joint portion forming a rotational joint with the fork clamp of the stem, a tightening of the fork clamp blocking rotation of the rotational joint, the rotational joint having a fork rotational axis. A vector of the fork rotational axis is normal to a fork rotational plane in which the fork rotates relative to the stem, and further wherein the frame rotational axis is not parallel to the fork rotational plane.
Shockproof caster
A shockproof caster has a shaft coupling base, a shock-absorbing mechanism and two casters. The shock-absorbing mechanism is disposed in parallel with the shaft coupling base, and the two casters are respectively mounted on the shock-absorbing mechanism. The shock-absorbing mechanism includes: a base body; a connecting arm, with its one end rotatably mounted on the base body; a rotating base, rotatably mounted on the other end of the connecting arm; at least one limiting convex portion, configured on the base body, wherein the top of the limiting convex portion is optionally propped against the outer side of the connecting arm to limit the range of downward swing of the connecting arm; and a spring, configured between the base body and the rotating base.
SUSPENSION CASTER
A caster with an elastic member that absorbs impact forces during use. The elastic member can be placed between first and second portions pivotable with respect to each other about a pin. The elastic member can absorb impact forces between the first and second portions when in use. The elastic member can further include grooves that allow portions of the elastic member adjacent the grooves to flow into the grooves during impact, further absorbing impact forces.
Universal rotating module
A universal rotating module is provided. The universal rotating module comprises a suspension carrier, a top cover, a globular element, and a plurality of cushion members. The suspension carrier includes a through hole and a plurality of first fixing portions beside the through hole. The top cover includes a plurality of second fixing portions. The globular element is disposed between the suspension carrier and the top cover. A portion of the globular element passes through the through hole. Each of the cushion members is correspondingly connected with the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion.
Angle adjustment assembly
An angle adjustment assembly comprises a first member configured to pivot about a first axis. A second member is configured to rotate about a second axis transverse to the first axis. The first member is eccentrically supported in relation to the second member so that rotation of the second member produces pivotal movement of the first member. A third member may be configured to rotate about a third axis transverse to the first axis. The second member may be eccentrically supported in relation to the third member so that rotation of the third member further produces pivotal movement of the first member. The second member may comprise an inner cam member. The third member may comprise an outer cam member. The first member may be a caster stem for supporting a wheelchair caster assembly, or alternatively, an axle receiver for supporting an axle of a wheelchair drive wheel.

MEDICAL DEVICE
The present invention provides a medical device comprising: a main body; and two or more fixed casters and at least one floating caster, which are connected to a bottom portion of said main body and support said main body, wherein said floating caster is capable of floating in the vertical direction relative to said main body.
PROTECTIVE SYSTEM FOR LUGGAGE
Protective systems for a luggage piece may include a deformable body and a cover. The cover may be configured to overlie and to be coupled with the deformable body. The cover may be more rigid than the deformable body. The deformable body may include an interior shape at least partially complementary to a recess formed in an exterior surface of the luggage piece. The deformable body may be joined to the luggage piece when positioned at least partially in the recess. External impacts exerted on the cover may be transmitted across the cover such that the forces associated with such external impacts may be exerted on the deformable body across a larger surface area than a surface area of the cover receiving the external impacts and may be at least partially absorbed by the deformable body.
SPRING-POWERED DRIVE APPARATUS AND SELF-PROPELLED CASTER
There is provided a spring-powered drive apparatus including a casing (102), an output shaft (103) mounted on the casing (102) in a relatively rotatable manner, a one way clutch (112) externally fitted on the output shaft (103) in the casing (102) and, a spiral spring (105, 107) housed in the casing and wound by turning of the output shaft (103) in the direction in which the one way clutch (112) transmits torque. Thus, there can be provided a compact spring-powered drive apparatus and a self-propelled caster that can be applied to a work cart or the like.
MOBILE FOLDING RESTAURANT BOOTH STYLE BENCH
Mobile folding restaurant booth style benches are provided, which may be arranged in opposed pairs to form restaurant style booths. An individual bench incorporates a mechanism for shifting the weight of the bench between a mobile base, which may be supported by swivel casters, and a stationary base, which may be supported by non-slip feet, actuated by pivoting a bench seat down from a folded storage position to an unfolded seating position. The weight shifting mechanism may include an engagement member, which is initially spaced apart from an actuator at a folded angle of the seat, and which contacts and begins transmitting force and movement to the actuator at a partially unfolded angle of the seat. Preferably, the bench further includes a biasing component that biases the stationary base upward relative to the mobile base.
