Damper Assembly
A bicycle wheel assembly may include a rim, a hub assembly, a plurality of spokes and a damper assembly. The damper assembly includes a damping element configured to apply a damping force against at least one spoke of the plurality of spokes. The damping force may be applied in an axial direction of the bicycle wheel and/or to a segment of the at least one spoke near the hub assembly.
ALL-TERRAIN LOAD TRANSPORT SYSTEM
An all-terrain load transport system including a cylindrical first base member and at least three pairs of arms is provided. A handle is removably attached to an attachment member disposed on the cylindrical first base member. The cylindrical first base member defines a space for receiving at least one piece of accessory equipment. Each pair of the three pairs of arms defines a wheel support assembly at an end of each pair distal from an outer periphery of the cylindrical first base member. The three pairs of arms are detachably attached to the outer periphery of the cylindrical first base member. The wheel support assembly includes a cylindrical second base member defining a space for receiving a spherical wheel. The spherical wheel moves omnidirectionally within the defined space. Roller bearings positioned along an inner periphery of the cylindrical second base member facilitate the omnidirectional movement of the spherical wheel.
Multi-part, sprung rail wheel
The present invention relates to a multi-part rail wheel with a wheel tyre, a wheel body, an elastic body arranged between the wheel tyre and the wheel body and via which the wheel tyre is supported on the wheel body, and at least one clamping element attached to the wheel body from one end face, via which the elastic body is braced against the wheel body and the wheel tyre by clamping means acting on the wheel body, the wheel body consisting of a light metal material in the region where the clamping means act. The rail wheel guarantees secure bracing of the components with simple assembly and disassembly. This is achieved by at least one counter-bearing element being provided on the end face of the wheel body opposite the clamping element. The counter-bearing element consists of a material which has a higher strength than the wheel body material.

A sound attenuation device for vehicle wheels, in particular for wheels of rail vehicles, includes a ring assembly having at least one open first ring and one open second ring, between which a viscoelastic first layer or an open elastic ring is arranged, wherein at least the first ring is clampable in a recess in a wheel body of a wheel having the wheel body, wherein in order to create advantageous construction conditions, a closure piece is connected to the ring assembly, where the closure piece is arranged in an opening between a first end of the ring assembly and a second end of the ring assembly, such that the ring assembly is secured mechanically.
SPOKED BICYCLE WHEEL AND SPOKE ATTACHMENT ELEMENT FOR SUCH A WHEEL
A spoke tension adjustment tool has a longitudinally elongated body with a central longitudinal cavity configured to house an end portion of a spoke. The housing has a longitudinal slit that allows the end portion of the spoke to enter the longitudinal cavity. The longitudinally elongated body has a grip portion and a shaped end portion configured to couple with a stem of a spoke attachment element. The shaped end portion is smaller than the grip portion and smaller than the diameter of a rim spoke attachment hole in which the stem is inserted.

A spoked bicycle wheel having a rim at least partially comprised of a composite material. The rim has at least one spoke attachment chamber with a plurality of spoke attachment holes. The wheel has a plurality of spokes coupled with the rim and a spoke attachment element partially inserted in a respective spoke attachment hole. The wheel includes a holding element that prevents the movement of said spoke attachment element along a radially outer direction. The spoke attachment element has a holding surface configured for abutment against the holding element.
Multi-Part Railway Wheel for a Railway Vehicle
The invention relates to a multi-part railway wheel for a railway vehicle, having a wheel tire, having an inner wheel part, having at least one elastic body arranged between the wheel tire and the inner wheel part, which body acts for electrical insulation, by way of which body the wheel tire is supported on the inner wheel part, and having a current bridge that is mounted on an outside end face of the railway wheel which bridge comprises a first contact element that consists of an electrically conductive material and lies against the wheel tire with a contact surface, a second contact element that consists of an electrically conductive material and lies against the inner wheel part with its contact surface and an electrical conductor that connects the contact elements. The inner wheel part consists of a light-metal material, at least in the region in which the contact element of the current bridge, which is assigned to the inner wheel part, lies against the inner wheel part with its contact surface. In order to prevent the risk of the formation of contact corrosion at a contact location, at which a contact element of the current bridge lies against a section of the inner wheel part that consists of a light-metal material, in the case of such a railway wheel, using simple means, the invention proposes forming the contact surface of the contact element that lies against the inner wheel part on a section of the contact element that consists of corrosion-resistant, electrically conductive steel material.

The axle assembly includes an axle having a first geometric shape housed within an axle housing having a second geometric shape. A shock absorber is located between the axle and the axle housing. The shock absorber supports the axle within the axle housing and comprises a first material and comprises a multi-sided configuration. The first geometric shape and the second geometric shape comprising polygons.
