GRC (glass-resin composite) monofilament
A monofilament made of glass-resin composite has improved properties in compression, in particular at high temperature, and comprises glass filaments embedded in a crosslinked resin. The glass transition temperature of the resin is equal to or greater than 190° C. The elongation at break of the monofilament, measured at 23° C., is equal to or greater than 4.0%. The initial tensile modulus of the monofilament, measured at 23° C., is greater than 35 GPa. The real part of the complex modulus of the monofilament, measured at 190° C. by the DMTA method, is greater than 30 GPa. Pneumatic or non-pneumatic tires are reinforced with such a composite monofilament.
Organic fiber twisted yarn cord
Provided is an organic fiber doubled-and-twisted yarn cord the twist structure of which is uniform and with which it is possible to reduce weight. A doubled-and-twisted yarn cord comprising an organic fiber characterized in that a total fineness is 5000-15000 dtex inclusive, a coefficient of twisted yarn length difference between untwisting yarns constituting the doubled-and-twisted yarn cord that is obtained by an expression: coefficient of twisted yarn length difference (%)=(maximum value of yarn length difference between untwisting yarns)/(average value of yarn length of untwisting yarns)×100 is 1.5% or less, and breaking strength is 7.0 cN/dtex or greater.
Tire with Belt Package Reinforcement Element
Tyre comprising a carcass, a belt package and a tread; said tyre comprising at least a reinforcement net made of a weaved textile material having a number of meshes ranging from 3 to 20, and wherein the threads are oriented between 25° and 65° relative to a longitudinal axis (X) of the tyre; said reinforcement net being arranged at least in the area of a centre of the tread and positioned inside the belt package or between the belt package and the tread; said weaved textile material having an elongation at break equal to or greater than 10%; said reinforcement net having a shorter transverse extension than the one of the belt package.
