A tire comprises sidewalls (2), a crown region (3) provided with a tread (4), and a reinforcing structure (5) extending between the sidewalls (2) and passing via the crown region (3). At least one portion of the region of the tire that is axially inside the reinforcing structure (5) comprises an insert (6) comprising a first elastomer composition serving as a matrix, within which a second elastomer composition originating from recycled tires is distributed substantially uniformly, the proportion of said second elastomer composition being greater than or equal to 40%.
PNEUMATIC TIRE
Provided is a pneumatic tire having a sufficiently suppressed change in handling property and sufficiently improved durability. This pneumatic tire comprises a tread portion including a rubber layer, the rubber layer is formed of a rubber composition having 0.25 or less of a loss tangent (15° C. tanδ) measured under such conditions as 15° C., frequency 10 Hz, initial strain 5%, and dynamic strain rate 1%, the tread portion includes a plurality of rib-like land portions formed by circumferential grooves continuously extending in the circumferential direction, the tread portion has a ground contact surface partitioned, at the equatorial plane, such that one ground contact area Sa and the other ground contact area Sb satisfy a relationship of Sa>Sb, and (formula 1) and (formula 2) are satisfied where Wt (mm) is the cross sectional width of the tire, Dt (mm) is the outer diameter, and V (mm3) is a virtual volume being the volume of a space occupied by the tire when the tire is mounted on a standard rim and the internal pressure is 250 kPa.
1600≤(Dt.sup.2×ϕ/4)/Wt≤2827.4 (formula 1)
[(V+1.5×10.sup.7)/Wt]≤2.88×10.sup.5 (formula 2)
Tire
A tire having a tire frame, the tire frame comprising a thermoplastic elastomer as a resin material, and the thermoplastic elastomer having a value of orientation f, as measured by a small angle X-ray scattering method, of from −0.08 to 0.08.
TIRE WITH MULTIPLE BODY PLIES
A tire includes a pair of beads and a plurality of body plies extending between the pair of beads, including at least a first body ply and a second body ply. The first body ply wraps around each of the pair of beads, and has a first pair of turn up portions having a first height. The second body ply wraps around each of the pair of beads, and has a second pair of turn up portions having a second height greater than the first height. Each of the second pair of turn up portions is axially inside each of the first turn up portions. The tire also includes a circumferential belt disposed radially above the plurality of body plies, a circumferential tread disposed radially above the circumferential belt, and a pair of sidewalls extending between the pair of beads and the circumferential tread. The tire also has a pair of stabilizer ply inserts, including a first stabilizer ply insert and a second stabilizer ply insert.
Tire sidewalls including high molecular weight waxes
A tire sidewall comprising a vulcanized rubber and a high molecular weight wax.
TIRE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TIRE
Provided is a tire on which cracks on sidewall portion outer surfaces are unlikely to progress. The tire comprises a depthwise structure on at least a part of a sidewall portion, the depthwise structure comprising, in a depth direction from a point on a sidewall portion outer surface, a depthwise part from the sidewall portion outer surface to 0.5 mm and a depthwise part II from 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm, wherein: the depthwise part I and the depthwise part II satisfy: the depthwise part I: peak temperature T1 of tan is 20 C. or more and 5 C. or less, and when tang at the peak temperature T1 is 1 and storage modulus at the peak temperature T1 is E1, 10.90 and E15 MPa; and the depthwise part II: when tan at peak temperature T1 is 2, and storage modulus at peak temperature T1 is E2, 2<1 and E2<E1.
TIRE
A tire has: a decorative portion that is formed at a tire side portion a tire outer surface) and has a base surface; and a first low brightness region and second low brightness regions (a plurality of first pattern regions) at which plurality of projections, which project-out from the base surface of the decorative portion at a projecting height of from 0.1 [mm] to 1.0 [mm], are formed at intervals of from 0.1 [mm] to 1.0 [mm]. Intervals between the projections differ from one another in the plurality of first pattern regions.
TIRE
A tire having a tire frame, the tire frame comprising a thermoplastic elastomer as a resin material, and the thermoplastic elastomer having a value of orientation f, as measured by a small angle X-ray scattering method, of from 0.08 to 0.08.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire is configured by a resin tire frame member. An inner face of the tire frame member is provided with an attachment section. The attachment section is configured so as to attach a sound-absorbing material inside the tire frame member. The sound-absorbing material employs, for example, a spongey material, and the sound-absorbing material is capable of absorbing sound.
