Method for saving the context of an electronic module of a tyre pressure monitoring system for a motor vehicle
A method for saving in an electronic measurement module of a tire pressure monitoring system for a motor vehicle. According to the method, as soon as a module operating error occurs, the data contained in the non-volatile random-access memory of the electronic data module are written into the read-only memory.

The vehicle-body-side system is included in a body of the vehicle. The tire-side device may output a detection signal corresponding to a magnitude of vibration applied to the tire. The tire-side device may extract data items of a road surface state indicative of the vibration of the tire during one rotation of the tire from the detection signal. The tire-side device may generate road surface data. The tire-side device may transmit the road surface data. The vehicle-body-side system may receive the road surface data. The vehicle-body-side system may determine the road surface state based on the road surface data.
Pneumatic tire comprising a device for measuring a mechanical force and use of the device
The invention relates to a tire comprising an apparatus, wherein the apparatus comprises a first, second, third, fourth and fifth layer, the third layer being optional, characterized in that: a) the first layer comprises a first electrode material, b) the second layer comprises a first intermediate material, c) the third layer comprises an insulation material, d) the fourth layer comprises a second intermediate material, and e) the fifth layer comprises a second electrode material, wherein the second or fourth layer has a layer thickness in the range from 10 to 1000 μm, the first intermediate material of the second layer and the second intermediate material of the fourth layer are different, and the four or five layers are arranged one above the other according to the above sequence. The invention also relates to uses of the apparatus.
Tire composition
The present disclosure relates to a method and manufacturing method for a tire tread composition having absorption properties with high electric conductivity and excellent wear resistance. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to the fabrication of a tire composition to be used as a non-pneumatic tire, the tire composition can be used as a mobile electrode with a water supply means that can identify the location of defects in the buried conductor using the tire electrode manufacturing with improved conductivity and contact resistance with the ground even though the tire compound has wear resistance by lowering the water swelling rate compared to the previous technology.
CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL DEVICE, CONTROL SYSTEM, AND TIRE TESTING METHOD
A control method of a vehicle (1) according to the present disclosure is a control method for controlling a vehicle (1) that has tires (6) mounted thereon and drives autonomously on a course (200) that includes a banked section (230). The control method includes an acquisition step of acquiring a detection result of a sensor (12) that detects information about the vehicle (1) or the course (200), and a control step of stopping the vehicle (1) so that the vehicle (1) does not enter the banked section (230) when it is determined that there is another vehicle in the banked section (230) based on the detection result of the sensor (12).
Tire with tread wear sensor plug
A tire includes a pair of sidewalls extending from a respective bead area to a tread. The tread is formed with a plurality of tread elements and a radially outer surface. A sensor unit is mounted to the tire and includes a pair of electrical contacts. The tread wear sensor plug includes a cylindrical projection extending through an opening formed in one of the tread elements, a flange, and a wire including proximal ends disposed in the flange and a distal end near a radially outer surface of the projection. An electrical circuit is formed by each proximal end of the wire electrically contacting a respective one of the sensor unit electrical contacts. When the tread element and the cylindrical projection wear down to the distal end of the wire, the wire and the circuit break. A notice is transmitted by the sensor unit when the circuit breaks.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DAMAGE DETECTION
A method of detecting damage in a target object comprises sensing a deformation and/or a force of a target object as the target object traverses a surface; comparing the sensed deformation and/or contact force of the target object to baseline data associated with an undamaged object; and detecting damage to the target object based upon the comparison of the sensed deformation and/or force of the target object to the baseline data associated with the undamaged object. A system for detecting damage comprises at least one sensor configured to sense the deformation and/or the force of the target object as the target object traverses a surface; and a controller in communication with the at least one sensor, wherein the controller is configured to analyze the deformation and/or the force sensed by the at least one sensor to detect damage to the target object.
