The first ply has a central portion and a pair of first side portions extending from both ends of the central portion to the inner side in the tire radial direction. Each of the ply pieces has an inner end portion disposed on the outer side in the tire radial direction of the central portion and a second side portion extending from the inner end portion to the inner side in the tire radial direction. The first ply is provided with a plurality of ventilation holes, and the density of the ventilation holes in the central portion is higher than the density of the ventilation holes in the pair of first side portions.
PNEUMATIC TIRE FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A pneumatic tire for an electric vehicle includes a pair of bead areas, a ground-contacting tread disposed radially outwardly of the pair of bead areas, and a pair of sidewalls. Each sidewall extends from a respective bead area to the tread. The tread joins each sidewall at a respective shoulder and the shoulders include an inboard shoulder and an outboard shoulder. A radius on the inboard shoulder is larger than a radius on the outboard shoulder. Physical features are formed on the tread, and each feature is formed in the shape of a fin. The features increase air flow towards an electric vehicle motor located inboardly of the tire. At least one of the fins includes a leading edge formed with micro-features.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND TIRE MOLD
A tire 22 includes a pair of bead portions 66 to be fitted to a rim R. Each bead portion 66 includes a bead 30 having a core 52 and an apex 54. An outer surface 68 of the bead portion 66 includes a seat face 70 and a flange face 72 disposed radially inward and axially outward, respectively, of the bead 30, a heel face 74 disposed between the seat face 70 and the flange face 72, and a plurality of vent lines 78 projecting from the heel face 74 and extending in the circumferential direction. A contour of the heel face 74 is represented by an arc on a cross-section, of the tire 22, taken along a plane including a rotation axis of the tire 22, and a radius Rh of the arc is not less than 8 mm and not greater than 15 mm.
PNEUMATIC TIRE AND MOLD FOR VULCANIZATION-MOLDING SAME
A pneumatic tire has a turned-up carcass ply and a non-turnup carcass ply. The turned-up carcass ply is turned up around bead cores in respective bead portions from the inside to outside of the tire so as to form a pair of turned up portions extending radially outwardly on the axially outsides of the respective bead cores, and a main portion extending between the turned up portions. The non-turnup carcass ply extends between the bead portions and terminates to have edges positioned on the axially outsides of the respective turned up portions. The bead portions are each provided on its outer surface with vent lines protruding therefrom and extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction. The vent lines include a radially outer vent line formed radially outside the edges of the non-turnup carcass ply, and a radially inner vent line formed radially inside the edges of the non-turnup carcass ply.
TIRE HAVING A CONDUCTIVE CORD
A tire includes at least one annular structure configured to interface with a wheel. The tire also includes a circumferential tread disposed in a crown region of the tire and an intermediate elastomeric layer having a conductive bleeder cord. The conductive bleeder cord extends from the annular structure to at least a middle third of a tread width and includes a metallic component that conducts electric charge and a textile component that permits gas evacuation.
Pneumatic tire
A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion, a pair of sidewall portions, a first ply, and a discontinuous second ply composed of a pair of ply pieces.
SHEET, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND TIRE COMPRISING THE SAME
Provided are a sheet, a method of its preparation, and a tire comprising the sheet, wherein the sheet comprises tire cords, a topping rubber for topping the tire cords, and a conductive fiber located on the surface of the topping rubber.
The sheet can provide tires, on which a rubber composition with a low electricity-transmitting property and low rolling resistance is applied, with excellent conductivity.
PNEUMATIC TIRES
The present invention provides a pneumatic tire, which includes a belt layer laminated and formed on an upper side of a carcass ply inside a tread portion, and a plurality of air vent cords arranged between the carcass ply and the belt with a predetermined interval, wherein at least a part of the air vent cords is formed so as to have electrical conductivity, thus to electrically communicate the carcass ply and the belt layer with each other, such that a static electricity generated in a body of an automobile is discharged through the tread grounded to the road surface via the carcass ply which electrically contacts with a tire wheel, thereby preventing an accident that may occur due to the static electricity in the automobile.
VEHICLE WHEEL WITH A MEASURING DEVICE AND A MONITORING DEVICE FOR VEHICLES
A vehicle wheel, and a monitoring device therewith, with a rim section and a disc section and a measuring device having at least one measuring sensor for detecting forces acting on the vehicle wheel. In order to provide a measuring device in a simplified manner, enabling to determine the dynamic load on the vehicle wheel during drive operation and static load forces, a metal strip is attached by means of an adhesive connection to the outer side of the rim section and the measuring device is assigned to the metal strip, wherein the measuring device has a bending strut provided with the at least one measuring sensor and being connected to the metal strip at two fastening zones spaced apart from one another, or the measuring sensor is connected to the metal strip and has several of differently oriented strain gauges for the local detection of a deformation of the metal strip between the fastening zones.
