PRESSURE MEASURING DEVICE
A pressure measuring device for a bicycle has a housing that includes a pressure chamber. The pressure chamber has a valve disposed in a first opening and a second opening into or out of a tire assembly volume of a tire assembly. A sense element is in pressure communication with the pressure chamber along a flow path between the first and second openings.
Tire Element
A non-pneumatic tire intended to be mounted on a rim and fitted to a lightweight vehicle, and the subject of the present invention is more specifically a tire element, which is able to be wound onto a rim. To increase the load-bearing capability, the tire element (1) has two stiffening portions (6) at least partially not joined together, and each stiffening portion (6) extends in the open main interior cavity (5), from a transition zone between the bead (4) and the sidewall (3) as far as the vicinity of the middle of the crown (2), and delimits, with a portion of tire element (7) facing the said stiffening portion (6), a closed secondary interior cavity (8).
INFLATION SYSTEM FOR TUBELESS TIRES
An inflation system for tubeless bicycle tires may include a valve, a sealant canister, a pump head, and/or a valve core adapter. The valve, sealant canister, and pump head may collectively facilitate sealant injection into a tire by a user. The valve has an external valve seat, and includes a valve body, a valve stem extending through the length of the valve body, and a retaining mechanism for the valve stem disposed interior to the valve body. The valve stem is configured to move relative to the valve body, such that a resilient seating surface disposed at a proximal end of the valve stem is displaced relative to a valve seat formed by an exterior surface of a proximal end of the valve body.
Insert for a pneumatic tire
An insert for a pneumatic tire including an annular member adapted to contact at least 10% of an interior surface of the pneumatic tire and provide an outward pressure thereagainst.
TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM
A tire pressure monitor includes a printed circuit board (PCB) and a sealed pressure chamber mounted to the PCB. The tire pressure monitor also includes a piston mounted adjacent to the sealed pressure chamber. The piston is configured to contact the sealed pressure chamber in response to an applied pressure. The tire pressure monitor also includes a liquid within the sealed pressure chamber. Translation of the piston causes the liquid to apply pressure to a pressure sensor. The pressure sensor is mounted within the sealed pressure chamber, and is configured to detect the applied pressure.
Tire structure and combining structure thereof
Provided is a tire structure capable of being combined with a rim, and the tire structure includes an air tube, a core provided on the air tube, and a tire outer layer provided on the core, and the core includes a body part positioned above a transverse diameter of the air tube and a wing part positioned under the transverse diameter of the air tube, and a lower end of the wing part is placed under an upper surface of the rim.
MODIFIED ROAD BICYCLE ASSEMBLY
A modified road bicycle assembly for riding quickly over uneven road surfaces includes a bicycle frame with a top tube, a down tube, a head tube, and a seat tube. A saddle is removably engaged to an upper end of the seat tube. A handle bar is removably engaged to an upper end of the head tube. The bicycle frame is a road bike frame and the handle bar is a drop handle bar. A suspension fork is attached to the bicycle frame and extends downwardly from the head tube. A rear shock is attached to the top tube and extends rearwardly and downwardly from the top tube. A front tire is rotatably mounted to the suspension fork. A rear tire is rotatably mounted to the rear shock.
BICYCLE-TIRE REINFORCING PLY AND BICYCLE TIRE
A bicycle tire at least includes a tread part provided to a ground contact surface of the bicycle tire and a carcass part provided inside the tread part. The bicycle tire also includes a reinforcing ply in at least one position selected from between the tread part 2 and the carcass part, inside the carcass part, and inside the tread part. The reinforcing ply at least includes a woven fabric made of polyvinyl alcohol-series fiber yarns. Each of the yarns includes a plurality of single fibers having an average fiber diameter of 45 m or smaller.
Coupling unit
Provided is a coupling unit for coupling a tire to a rim, the coupling unit including an upper surface, a lower surface, and side surfaces, in which a maximum length of the coupling unit is larger than a distance between both hooks of the rim, the side surfaces include sliding areas that are slidable with respect to the hooks of the rim such that the coupling unit is easily inserted into the rim while the coupling unit is being inserted into the rim, and in a state in which the coupling unit is completely inserted into the rim, at least a part of the upper surface is in surface contact with lower surfaces of the hooks to prevent the coupling unit from being separated from the rim.
