REAR SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A utility vehicle includes a rear suspension assembly which has a trailing arm generally extending longitudinally. The trailing arm includes a joint along a longitudinal length of the trailing arm. Also, the rear suspension assembly includes an upper radius rod extending in a generally lateral direction relative to a centerline of the vehicle. Additionally, the rear suspension assembly includes a lower radius rod extending in a generally lateral direction relative to the centerline of the vehicle. The rear suspension assembly further includes a suspension member configured to control toe of the at least one rear ground-engaging member.
AUTOMOBILE SUSPENSION
An automobile suspension includes a side rail extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle body, a lower arm, and a bracket linking the lower arm to the side rail. A front end of the side rail and a rear end of the side rail are linked to a frame of the vehicle body, and the side rail curves such that a middle of the side rail is lower than at least one of the front end and the rear end. The bracket includes a pair of side plates that supports a shaft of the lower arm and is joined to a side face of the side rail, and an upper plate that links the side plates and is joined to an upper face of the side rail.
MOTOR VEHICLE
A motor vehicle includes a body, a wheel hub unit, an upright, which is fixed to the wheel hub unit, a fender, which is arranged to cover the wheel hub unit, and a suspension, which couples the upright to the body in a movable manner along at least one axis, which is transversal to a driving direction of the motor vehicle; wherein the suspension comprises at least one movable element, which is movable along said axis, and wherein the fender is carried by said element in a movable manner relative to the body.
Front suspension apparatus
A front suspension apparatus in which a front side of a suspension arm can be cut off from a subframe at the time of a small overlap collision without a complication of structure and formability. A front suspension apparatus in which a lower arm from which a front wheel is suspended is provided, and a front arm portion and a rear arm portion of the lower arm are axially supported by axially supporting portions of a subframe is characterized in that an axially supporting portion of the front arm portion is joined to the subframe at a joined portion extending in a vehicle width direction, a joined portion extending in an up-down direction, and a joined portion extending in a front-rear direction, and a joining strength of a joined portion in the front-rear direction is lower than a joining strength of the joined portion in the up-down direction.
Suspension device for vehicle
A vehicle suspension device, including: a carrier; a lower arm and an upper arm each of which is pivotally supported at one end portion thereof by a vehicle body, the other end portion of each of the lower arm and the upper arm being connected to the carrier; a rocking lever supported at one end portion thereof by the vehicle body so as to be rockable; a link one end portion of which is connected to the rocking lever and the other end portion of which is connected to one of the lower arm and the upper arm at a position between the one end portion and the other end portion of the one of the lower arm and the upper arm; and a shock absorber pivotally supported at one end portion thereof by the vehicle body, the other end portion thereof being connected to the rocking lever.

Liquid seal bushing
A liquid seal bushing includes an outer member, an inner member, and an elastic body which connects the outer member and the inner member to each other. The bushing includes two liquid chambers, a connection path which connects the two liquid chambers and extends in one direction, a first communication path which allows communication between one end portion of both end portions of the connection path, the one end portion being located on a side of one liquid chamber of the two liquid chambers, and the other liquid chamber, a second communication path which allows communication between the other end portion of the both end portions of the connection path, and a linear motor provided inside the outer member including a movable element in the connection path and movable in the one direction to closes both openings of the first communication path and the second communication path.
Bushing for use in a vehicle suspension
A bushing includes a cylindrical body and a flange extending from the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body has an inner face defining a bore. The flange includes an outer rim and a face extending radially between the bore and the outer rim. At least one groove is formed in the face. The at least one groove extends from a first end intersecting the bore to a second end adjacent the outer rim such that grease supplied to the bore of the bushing is able to flow through the at least one groove.
