A safety device against leaks of liquid for a liquid-conducting household appliance comprises a valve arrangement that can be electrically switched between a closing position and an opening position, to prevent or enable, respectively, a flow of liquid from a liquid-supply source to the household appliance. The device further comprises:—a first pipe (13) impermeable to liquid, for the flow of liquid,—at least one hydraulic unit (12), having a duct for the liquid (30),—a flow sensor in the at least one hydraulic unit (12). The first pipe (13) is connected in fluid communication with the duct (30) and extends longitudinally at least in part within a second pipe (14) that is impermeable to liquid, in such a way that defined between at least part of the first pipe (13) and of the second pipe (14) is a gap (G) having a proximal end and a distal end. The at least one hydraulic unit (12) has a respective hydraulic body (16) that defines the duct (30). The flow sensor is a non-mechanical flow sensor that includes at least two electrical detection elements (42) within the duct (30).

DISHWASHER PROVIDING NOTIFICATION FOR REPLACING FILTER AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A NOTIFICATION FOR REPLACING A FILTER
20230277033 · 2023-09-07 ·

A dishwasher performs a method for providing a notification for replacing a filter. The dishwasher continues to accumulate operation time of an air blowing fan of the dishwasher, and when total accumulative operation time is predetermined time or greater, outputs a notification for replacing a filter through a display or a speaker to determine the timing of the replacement of the filter accurately.

Method and apparatus for sensing dryness according to air quality

A dishwasher includes a tub defining a wash chamber, a wash rack provided within the wash chamber, an air inlet in fluid communication with the wash chamber at a first position, an air exhaust outlet in fluid communication with the wash chamber at a second position different from the first position, a first gas sensor provided in the dishwasher, and a controller configured to initiate an operation sequence. The operation sequence includes initiating a drying cycle, receiving an air-quality signal from the first gas sensor, measuring, during the drying cycle, an air-quality characteristic within the wash chamber of the dishwasher, determining the measured air-quality characteristic is below a predetermined air-quality threshold, calculating a drying time in response to determining the measured air-quality characteristic is below the predetermined air-quality threshold, and halting the drying cycle in response to an expiration of the drying time.

SUMP AND FILTER FLUSHING IN DISHWASHING APPLIANCES

Method for operating a household appliance and household appliance

In a method for operating a household appliance having a user interface for operation of the household appliance by a plurality of users, a number of predetermined usage actions of a particular user of the plurality of users when operating the household appliance is registered in a user-specific manner, and a user-specific control surface is provided by way of the user interface for the particular user on the basis of the usage actions of the particular user as registered in a user-specific manner.

MONITORING AND CONTROL OF THERMAL SANITIZATION IN AUTOMATED CLEANING MACHINES

Systems and/or methods for the monitoring and/or control of thermal sanitization in automated cleaning machines are described. A cleaning machine controller may predict a number of heat unit equivalents that will be delivered during a cleaning process based on a sump temperature difference (i.e., a change in the temperature of the cleaning solution in the sump) experienced at or near the beginning of the cleaning process. One or more cleaning process parameters may be adjusted and/or controlled based on the sump temperature difference in order to ensure that a target number of heat unit equivalents are delivered in order to achieve thermal sanitization of the wares subjected to the cleaning process.
