PICK AND CARRY CRANE SUSPENSION
20210347222 · 2021-11-11 · ·

A crane, in particular a pick and carry crane, may have a front chassis with front wheels and a back chassis with back wheels, the front chassis being articulated relative to the back chassis so that the crane can travel whilst carrying a load suspended from a boom. The back and front wheels have independent suspensions which are capable of connection to one another so that movement of a left wheel influences movement of a right wheel, thereby improving the handing of the crane, particularly over rough terrain.

Vehicle suspension arm

A vehicle suspension arm includes: a wheel support portion which supports a wheel through a ball joint serving as a joining member; a front side vehicle body installation portion serving as a vehicle body installation portion which is installed in a vehicle body; and a wheel side portion which joins the wheel support portion to the front side vehicle body installation portion. The wheel side portion includes an offset portion, which has a cross-sectional shape with a gravity center being offset upward or downward from a straight line that connects the ball joint to the front side vehicle body installation portion.

Vehicle for the transport of persons and/or goods

A vehicle for transporting persons and/or goods, having at least one frame which includes of at least one frame element which extends substantially parallel or obliquely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, at least one wheel carrier which can be detachably secured to the frame element and which, together with the frame element, forms a receiving region between the wheel carrier and the frame element. The wheel carrier and the frame element are spaced apart from one another at least in sections so as to form a cavity. The frame also includes at least one wheel unit which includes a wheel and can be fixed or is fixed in a rotatably mounted manner at least in sections in the receiving region between the wheel carrier and the frame element.

Independent suspension system

An independent suspension system includes a steering unit configured to be controlled to adjust the steering angle of a wheel, a shock absorber engaged with the wheel in order to absorb external impacts applied to the wheel and including first and second shock absorbers, each of the first shock absorber and the second shock absorber arranged in a forward-rearward direction on opposite side surfaces of the wheel, respectively, and a link unit disposed between the shock absorber and the steering unit in order to vary the distance between the wheel and the steering unit. The link unit includes a first upper arm disposed between the first shock absorber and the steering unit, a second upper arm disposed between the second shock absorber and the steering unit, and a ground clearance adjustment unit engaged with the first and second upper arms and configured to vary the distance therebetween while varying the distance between the wheel and the steering unit at the same time.

The invention relates inter alia to a steerable independent wheel suspension for a mobile agricultural machine. A support device serves for the pivotable mounting of the independent wheel suspension on a frame part of the agricultural machine. At least one guide column is mounted displaceably in the support device. A wheel hub is guided displaceably along the at least one guide column. A bracket is connected fixedly to the at least one guide column so as to move with the at least one guide column. The bracket can allow a flexible and improved arrangement of height adjustment means, damping means and spring-mounting means of the independent wheel suspension.

Damping force control device

A damping force control device 10 comprises vary damping shock absorbers, a detector, and a controller. Each of the shock absorbers sets damping coefficient from a minimum value to a maximum value in order to adjust damping force. The detector detects vertical vibration state quantity relating to vibration of the sprung mass. The controller performs an ordinary control for setting the damping coefficient based on the vertical vibration state quantity and according to a predetermined control law suitable for an assumption that all of the wheels touch ground. The controller performs, when at least one of the wheels is an ungrounded wheel which does not touch the ground and each of the other wheels is a grounded wheel which touches the ground, a specific control for setting the damping coefficient of the shock absorber corresponding to the grounded wheel to a first specific value greater than the minimum value.

Relative guide device for a steering arrangement arranged on the wheel-carrier side

A relative guide device (1) for a steering arrangement (31) is arranged on the wheel-carrier side for the spatial guidance and maintenance of the relative spatial orientation of the steering arrangement (31) with respect to a vehicle body (40). At least one telescopic movement apparatus (2) for movably connecting the steering arrangement (31) is arranged on the wheel-carrier side to the vehicle body (40). A steering force transmission device (30) transmits a steering force to a wheel (R) of a vehicle having a relative guide device (1), and to a wheel suspension (50) for a vehicle.
