A trailer has a three-section flat bed in which the front and rear sections fold onto the middle section. The trailer has an airbag suspension system and one wheel on each side. When the airbags are deflated, the entire flat bed forms a ramp for loading and unloading. When the airbags are deflated and the flat bed is folded, the trailer can be stored vertically while resting on its wheels.

A narrow gauge two-wheeled trailer mounted on spaced apart elongated beams and split axles is stabilized against rolling or tilting about the longitudinal axis with a leaf spring suspension and a universal joint coupling. The split axles are mounted on an axle arms pivoted to the beams and supported by leaf springs configured to lengthen or shorten along the beams. The universal joint coupling permits pitch and yaw movement of the trailer but resists rolling.

A height-adjusting axle assembly separate from and connectable to a trailer frame. A first pair of wheels is connected to a first cross-beam by a first pair of torsion axles such that rotation of the first cross-beam causes rotation of the first pair of torsion axles. A second pair of wheels is connected to a second cross-beam by a second pair of torsion axles such that rotation of the second cross-beam causes rotation of the second pair of torsion axles. A interconnecting bar is pivotally connected to the first cross-beam and the second cross-beam. A first frame rail and A second frame rail are connectable to the trailer frame. The first cross-beam and the second cross-beam are supported by and extend between the first frame rail and the second frame rail.

A grain cart is provide having a wheel assembly with four ground wheels that all pivot in unison. The wheel assembly can include a first side front wheel, a first side rear wheel, a second side front wheel and a second side rear wheel. A first side steering link assembly can be operatively coupled between the first side front wheel and the first side rear wheel to cause the first side front wheel and the second side rear wheel to pivot in opposite directions. A second side steering link can be operatively coupled between the second side front wheel and the second side rear wheel to cause the second side front wheel and the second side rear wheel to pivot in opposite directions. A unison linkage assembly operatively can couple the movement of the first side rear wheel and second side rear wheel.

An air spring includes a rolling piston having a fastening section. An air spring bellows has at least a first one-sided bead portion and a buffer element. The first bead portion bears against an outer side of the fastening section. The buffer element is fixed onto the outer side of the fastening section via a snap-lock connection.

A lifting mechanism for a vehicle axle is provided wherein a vehicle includes a vehicle frame having a first rail component and a second rail component. A first mounting bracket is attached to the first rail component of the vehicle frame. A lifting component is attached to the first mounting bracket. A lateral load component has a first end attached to the lifting component and a second end attached to the second rail component of the vehicle frame. A bracket attaches the lateral load component to the vehicle axle such that upon extension of the lifting component, the vehicle axle is lifted.

A transportable fold-out structure includes a support frame. First and second primary platforms are pivotally supported by the support frame and each is disposed in an upright position wherein the platform extends upwardly. Two wall assemblies are disposed opposite each other. Each wall assembly includes a plurality of wall segments joined together. Each wall segment is pivotally joined to the support frame or one of the primary platforms. Each wall assembly is movable from a first position wherein the wall assembly is lying above the first and second primary platforms to a second position wherein the two wall assemblies face each other. First and second extensions are configured to be selectively positionable wherein a first portion of the extension is connected to the support frame and a second portion of the extension is remote from the corresponding first portion and extends laterally from the support frame.

Systems and methods for modifying an attitude of a vehicle are disclosed. A user selects a trailer mode for a vehicle body. The selected trailer mode has a corresponding configuration. The vehicle determines one or more features about a trailer based on the selected trailer mode. The vehicle determines a location of a trailer hitch needed to achieve the configuration corresponding to the selected trailer mode. The location is based on the one or more features about the trailer. The vehicle actuates at least one active component in the vehicle's active suspension system to change the attitude of the vehicle body so as to cause the trailer hitch to be located in the determined location thereby causing the vehicle body to be in the selected trailer mode.

The apparatuses and methods disclosed herein may be towed forwards and backwards by a motor vehicle. Thus, implementations of the transport device disclosed herein may have functions akin to a goose-neck trailer, yet may provide easier, more efficient and/or more cost effective transportation and loading functions over prior art trailer transportation systems. Furthermore, in some implementations, the transport device disclosed herein includes at least three, non-aligned wheels and therefore can function like a cart. Still further, in some implementations, the transport device disclosed herein can have the functions of a wagon, yet still back and maneuver like a trailer. In some implementations, the transport device includes a frame for positioning hay for feeding live stock.

In some embodiments, a mobile safety platform includes a protective enclosure coupled to a frame of a wheeled transport. The wheeled transport is configured to raise the protective enclosure so that the wheeled transport can relocate the protective enclosure and to lower the protective enclosure so that the protective enclosure and/or deck is deployed on a substrate. In at least one embodiment, the wheeled transport is configured to raise and to lower the protective enclosure utilizing a lifting and lowering mechanism, such as a hydraulic system. In at least one embodiment, the lifting and lowering mechanism is configured, when deployed, to transfer at least some of the weight of the transport to the protective enclosure and/or deck. In at least one embodiment, the wheeled transport comprises a trailer. In other embodiments, the wheeled transport can be a motor vehicle including an engine.
