CONTROLLER, VEHICLE, AND CONTROL METHOD
The present invention obtains a controller capable of improving riding comfort of an occupant at the time when a vehicle that has jumped lands on the ground in comparison with the background art.
The controller according to the present invention is a controller that is mounted to a vehicle including a shock absorber in a damping force adjustment type between a vehicle body and a wheel and controls a damping force of the shock absorber. The controller includes: a jump detecting section detecting that the vehicle has jumped; and a control section that executes landing damping force control for restricting the damping force of the shock absorber during compression to be equal to or smaller than a prescribed damping force when the jump detecting section detects a jump of the vehicle.
Off-road robot
Provided is an off-road robot, including a front side portion, a rear side portion and a middle portion. The front side portion includes a front vehicle frame, a front wheel and a first driving system; the front wheels and the first driving system are disposed at the front vehicle frame; and the first driving system drives the front wheels. The rear side portion includes a rear vehicle frame, a rear wheel and a second driving system; the rear wheel and the second driving system are disposed at the rear vehicle frame; and the second driving system drives the rear wheels. The middle portion includes a first frame and a second frame; the first frame and the second frame are detachably connected; the front vehicle frame is connected with the first frame; and the rear vehicle frame is connected with the second frame.
SELF-BALANCING DEVICE FOR SELF-PROPELLED OFF-ROAD RV BOX BODY
Disclosed is a self-balancing device for self-propelled off-road RV box body. The self-balancing device includes an auxiliary beam body for connecting with a bottom end of the RV box body, a front triangular balance beam body, a rear triangular balance beam body and an axle-holding device for connecting with a RV chassis girder. The front triangular balance beam body and the rear triangular balance beam body are arranged close to both ends of the auxiliary beam body respectively. The axle-holding device is arranged between the front triangular balance beam body and the rear triangular balance beam body. Both the front triangular balance beam body and the rear triangular balance beam body include a hard limit structure for limiting a swing angle of the RV box body. The axle-holding device includes a soft limit structure for horizontally resetting the RV box body.
Pitch and roll control system for a vehicle
A vehicle includes a suspension system having a first damper, a second damper, and a controller. The dampers include housings and pistons sealingly interfaced with an inner diameter of the housing, dividing the damper into a first and second chamber. The suspension system includes proportional variable relief valves which control pressure of fluid entering or exiting one of the first and second chamber of one of the first and second damper. The controller controls the valves to control extension or compression of the first damper and extension or compression of the second damper based on a degree of roll of the vehicle during a turn of the vehicle or a degree of pitch of the vehicle during acceleration or deceleration of the vehicle. The first and second damper control a roll and pitch of the vehicle. The valves control a damping rate of one of the first and second damper.
Work vehicle
A work vehicle includes a plurality of traveling devices for driving traveling, a plurality of articulated link mechanisms having at least two or more joints and supporting the plurality of traveling devices to a vehicle body, with allowing the plurality of traveling devices to be elevated/lowered independently of each other, a driving mechanism capable of changing respective postures of the plurality of articulated link mechanisms independently of each other, and a plurality of turning mechanisms configured to support the respective plurality of the articulated link mechanisms, with allowing the link mechanisms to be orientation-changeable about a vertical axis.
Hydraulic suspension system for off-road vehicles
A system and methods are provided for a suspension system of an off-road vehicle that allows the springs to be mounted remotely, in any location on the vehicle, enabling the use of spring sizes, spring rates, motion ratios, and damping profiles that would be impractical with traditional suspensions. The suspension system includes a hydraulic cylinder coupled between the wheel and the chassis, in lieu of a conventional spring. This cylinder is in fluid communication with another cylinder by way of a hydraulic hose. This second cylinder includes a piston that presses against a suspension spring that is in contact with a fixed spring stop, thus transferring spring forces to the wheel. Alternatively, the spring stop may comprise a control actuator that moves according to signals from an onboard computer control system, enabling active control over spring load and chassis attitude.
VEHICLE HAVING ADJUSTABLE COMPRESSION AND REBOUND DAMPING
A damping control system for a vehicle having a suspension located between a plurality of ground engaging members and a vehicle frame are disclosed. The vehicle including at least one adjustable shock absorber having an adjustable damping characteristic.
FRONT STRUCTURAL BULKHEAD FOR VEHICLE CHASSIS
An apparatus and methods are provided for a front structural bulkhead for improving the strength of an off-road vehicle chassis. The chassis is a welded-tube variety of chassis that includes a front portion and a rear portion that are joined to an intervening passenger cabin portion. Frontward stays and a bulkhead mount couple the front structural bulkhead to the front portion. Bulkhead mount pillars and a bulkhead mount crossmember couple the front structural bulkhead to the passenger cabin portion. The front structural bulkhead includes a modular chassis for supporting drivetrain components that are operably coupled with front wheels of the vehicle. The front structural bulkhead includes upper and lower mounting points configured to receive front suspension controls arms. The upper and lower mounting points are configured to allow the front wheels to move vertically due to the vehicle traveling over terrain.
Suspension system
Various suspension systems for vehicles are described that preferably comprise a multi-link suspension where one or more of the links can move independently of the other links. The multiple independent links are connected to an upright, vertical load reaction that is decoupled from horizontal load reaction, thus delivering a more comfortable ride and reduced feedback to the driver or operator of the vehicle. By eliminating that external feedback using the inventive subject matter discussed herein, vehicles can be safer and easier to control in all circumstances.
