Leveling mower hitch
An implement includes a hydraulic control to move rear wheels upward and downward. A hitch frame has a rear end pivotally connected to a front of the implement's frame about an upper hitch pivot axis and a front end connectable to a tractor drawbar. A tension link has a rear end pivotally connected to the front end of the implement about a lower hitch pivot axis located below and parallel to the upper hitch pivot, and a front end movably mounted to a front of the hitch frame. A front hydraulic cylinder moves the front end of the tension link forward and rearward. The hydraulic control activates the front hydraulic cylinder to move the tension link rearward as the rear hydraulic cylinder moves the rear wheels upward with respect to the implement frame, and to move the front end of the tension link forward as the rear wheels move downward.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM WITH VARIABLE ROLL RESISTANCE
A suspension system for a work vehicle includes a first cylinder having a piston side, a second cylinder having a piston side, and a first valve connected to the first and second cylinders, which extend and retract during a roll condition of the suspension system. The first valve selectively enables and restricts fluid flow between the piston side of the first cylinder and the piston side of the second cylinder to adjust a roll resistance of the suspension system.
SPRING-DAMPER SYSTEM
A spring-damper system consisting of at Least a differential cylinder (4), a hydraulic accumulator (26) and a control valve device (1, 2), is characterized in that by means of at least one motor-pump unit (22) pressure fluid can be supplied to the annular end (6) or both the annular end (6) and the piston end (8) of the differential cylinder (4) in a dosed circuit using the control valve device (1, 2).
Wheel Suspension for a Utility Vehicle
A wheel suspension for a vehicle includes: a steering knuckle support; a steering knuckle mounted at the steering knuckle support so as to be swivelable around a steering axis; a vehicle wheel mounted at the steering knuckle so as to be rotatable around a wheel rotational axis; and a plurality of links by which the steering knuckle support is articulated at a vehicle frame such that the steering knuckle support is movable in a vertical direction (z) of the vehicle relative to the vehicle frame. A first one of the links is configured as a first control arm configured as a four-bar link, and a second one of the links is configured as a second control arm arranged offset relative to the first link in the vertical direction (z) of the vehicle, and wherein the second link is configured as a two-bar link that is adjustable in length.
LOAD CARRYING VEHICLE HAVING A CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE LOAD CARRYING VEHICLE
A load carrying vehicle including: a chassis; a load carrying container connected to the chassis; a plurality of wheels; a suspension arrangement coupling the wheels to the chassis; wherein the suspension arrangement is configured to controllably lower the container such that the container makes contact with at least two wheels.
Mounting assembly for a steerable wheel with variable track width
A wheel-mounting assembly for a utility vehicle includes a chassis and a wheel support assembly mounted to respective outboard ends of first and second telescopic axle assemblies. The first and second telescopic axle assemblies are laterally spaced from one another and are each secured to the chassis. The first and second telescopic axle assemblies each include a respective actuator arranged to control extension and retraction thereof for steering and track-width control.
SELF-PROPELLED SPRAYER SUSPENSION TRAVEL REDUCTION MECHANISM
An agricultural vehicle suspension may comprise a spring and a first spindle operably coupled with the spring in a spindle axial direction. A stop body may be operably coupled to the first spindle in a cylinder axial direction. The stop body may be configured to limit an axial length of travel of the suspension relative to the first spindle. The first spindle may be a steering spindle or a suspension spindle.
Pneumatic conveying system for an agricultural product applicator
The invention provides a pneumatic conveying system for an agricultural product applicator, which system comprises multiple fans configured to serve separate boom sections of the applicator to more efficiently conduct airflow with respect to each section. In aspects of the invention, multiple centrifugal fans of the same or similar size can be used, or multiple centrifugal fans of various sizes can be used, such as one or more larger fans and one or more smaller fans. Exemplar aspects could include three small or medium sized centrifugal fans, four small or medium sized centrifugal fans, and five small or medium sized centrifugal fans, thereby allowing the system to raise outlet air pressure at an elevated flow. Another aspect of the invention could include configuring one fan to supercharge another fan, in series, also allowing the system to raise outlet air pressure at an elevated flow.
TANDEM WHEEL ASSEMBLY WITH PIVOT DAMPENING SYSTEM
A tandem wheel assembly for a work vehicle includes a tandem wheel housing having a center opening extending along a pivot axis and wheel end openings extending along associated wheel end axes. The tandem wheel housing is pivotally mounted to a chassis of the work vehicle about the pivot axis. A center sprocket is rotatably disposed within the tandem wheel housing. Wheel end assemblies are disposed at the wheel end openings and each includes a wheel end sprocket, a wheel end gear train, and a wheel end hub. A pair of reaction bars are being pivotally coupled at first ends to the chassis and at second ends to a component of the respective wheel end assembly. A pivot dampening system is positioned, at least in part, axially between the tandem wheel housing and either the chassis or the component of at least one of the wheel end assemblies. The pivot dampening system is configured to dampen the pivoting of the tandem wheel housing tandem wheel housing relative to the chassis.
