DAMPER WITH INTEGRATED ELECTRONICS
A bumper cap assembly for an electrically adjustable hydraulic shock absorber. The bumper cap assembly includes a printed circuit board assembly and a bumper cap. The printed circuit board assembly includes power drive electronics and is electrically coupled to the shock absorber. The bumper cap defined a gap, wherein the printed circuit board assembly is housed within the gap.
Device having a measuring apparatus for measuring forces and/or loads
A component of a machine. The component has a measuring fixture for measuring forces and at least one metallic, magnetic portion. The measuring fixture includes at least one field-generating member for producing an electromagnetic alternating field and at least one detection member for detecting changes of the magnetic field produced. The field-generating member and the detection members are arranged on the metallic, magnetic portion and are designed to interact with the metallic, magnetic portion in such manner that by way of the measuring fixture, as a function of measurement signals from the detection member, forces acting on and/or deformations of the component can be detected.
DAMPER AND DAMPER MANUFACTURING METHOD
Provided is a damper with which the energy efficiency for attenuating input vibration corresponding to the unsprung resonance frequency and the sprung resonance frequency can be improved. Also provided is a method for manufacturing this damper. In this damper the electrical resonance frequency, as specified by the inductance of an electromagnetic motor and the capacitance of a capacitor, is set within ±20% of the unsprung resonance frequency, thereby enabling the input vibration corresponding to the sprung resonance frequency as well as the input vibration corresponding to the unsprung resonance frequency to be reduced.
SHOCK ABSORBER WITH A BEARING HOUSING BYPASS ASSEMBLY
A shock assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a damper chamber having an outer wall with a first inner diameter (ID). A secondary chamber within the damper chamber, the secondary chamber comprising an exterior wall with an external diameter (ED) less than the ID of the outer wall to form an annular region therebetween. A damping piston coupled to a piston rod, the damping piston disposed in the secondary chamber and axially movable relative to the secondary chamber, the damping piston to bifurcate the secondary chamber into a compression side and a rebound side. A valve to control a flow of a working fluid between the annular region and the secondary chamber.
Eddy Current Sensor Device for Measuring a Linear Displacement
An Eddy current sensor device includes a sender member emitting a magnetic field and two sensing members. A central position sensing member includes a pair of central sense coils each being formed by a plurality of turns, and an edge position sensing member includes a pair of edge sense coils each being formed by a plurality of turns.
CENTRAL JOINT DEVICE FOR CHASSIS COMPONENTS
A central joint device for chassis components (2), particularly three-point link, is suggested. The central joint device comprises at least one housing unit (3), at least one joint pin unit (4) which is movably supported at least partially inside of the housing unit (3), and at least one sensor unit (5), particularly a magnetic sensor unit, which is provided for contactless detection of roll motions and pitch motions of the housing unit (3) and of the joint pin unit (4) relative to one another. The sensor unit (5) comprises at least one encoder element (6) and at least one sensor element (7). The encoder element (6) and the sensor element (7) are arranged to be spaced apart from one another and movable relative to one another.
SELF-CONTAINED AIRSHOCK ASSEMBLY
An airshock assembly is disclosed. The airshock assembly includes a shock absorber an airspring, and an air compressor assembly. The airspring is axially coupled with a portion of the shock absorber and used to modify a ride height of the shock absorber. The air compressor assembly is coupled with a portion of the shock absorber. The air compressor assembly is used to modify an air pressure in the airspring without requiring the airshock assembly to utilize an air reservoir.
Stroke sensor system and shock absorber
A stroke sensor system includes a conductor, a coil which moves relative to the conductor and is fitted to one end side of the conductor; and a ferromagnetic body which is arranged on an end position side of the coil. A position of an end portion on one end side of the conductor in a state where a fitting ratio between the conductor and the coil is maximized is defined as the end position. The ferromagnetic body is located on an opposite side to the conductor with the coil interposed therebetween.
