A DISHWASHER COMPRISING A HEAT PUMP
The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising a body; a heat pump that is disposed inside the body and that has a first heat exchanger providing the heating of the water to be used in the washing step, a second heat exchanger transferring the heat received from the first heat exchanger to the wash water and a compressor fluidly connected to the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger, realizing the refrigerant cycle; a water collection tank that is disposed just under the first heat exchanger, wherein the water condensing on the first heat exchanger is collected, and a water softening unit that enables the water taken from the mains to be softened so as to be used in the washing step.
LEARNING DISPENSING SYSTEM FOR WATER INLET HOSE
A retrofit auxiliary device for distributing cleaning resources to a household cleaning appliance having a treating chamber is described wherein the device can connect to various household cleaning appliances of different makes and models and can learn the flow of water and detergent during various stages of operation and then perform the dispensing itself.
CONVEYOR DISHWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A CONVEYOR DISHWASHER
A conveyor dishwasher (2) includes a final rinse zone (18) and at least one wash zone (12, 14, 16, 18) and also a conveyor apparatus for conveying washware through the treatment zones of the conveyor dishwasher (2), wherein the at least one wash zone (12, 14, 16, 18) has an associated wash tank (32, 34, 36) in which at least a portion of the wash liquid which is sprayed in the at least one wash zone (12, 14, 16, 18) is collected. The conveyor dishwasher (2) also has a wastewater pump (61) for supplying wash liquid, which is produced as wastewater during operation of the conveyor dishwasher (2), to a heat exchanger device (60) in which at least a portion of the thermal energy of the supplied wash liquid is transferred to the final rinse liquid which is to be sprayed in the final rinse zone (18).
CONVEYOR DISHWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A CONVEYOR DISHWASHER
A conveyor dishwasher (2) having a final rinse zone (18) and at least one wash zone (12, 14, 16, 18) and also a conveyor apparatus for conveying washware through the treatment zones of the conveyor dishwasher (2), wherein the wash zone (12, 14, 16, 18) has an associated wash tank (32, 34, 36) in which at least a portion of the wash liquid which is sprayed in the at least one wash zone (12, 14, 16, 18) is collected. The conveyor dishwasher (2) includes a wastewater pump (61) for supplying wash liquid, which is produced as wastewater during operation of the conveyor dishwasher (2), as required to a heat exchanger device (60) in which at least a portion of the thermal energy of the supplied wash liquid is transferred to the final rinse liquid which is to be sprayed in the final rinse zone (18).
Wireless automated shutoff valve
A modular water leakage detector includes a housing that carries a plurality of water leakage sensors, an electrical water shutoff valve, and circuitry coupled thereto. In response to sensing water leakage, the circuitry actuates the valve to shut off a water supply. Detectors can communicate alarm indicating signals directly with one another. The detectors can include a wireless transmitter and communicate with a displaced alarm monitoring system.
PUMP INLET ASSEMBLIES FOR DISHWASHER APPLIANCES
A pump inlet assembly and method of operating a dishwasher appliance are provided. The pump inlet assembly includes an inlet conduit providing fluid communication between a sump and a pump. The inlet conduit defines an integrally formed boss which is coupled with a sensor housing using an overmolding process. A pressure sensor is positioned in the sensor housing and is protected from wash fluid by an airgap defined by the boss. The measured pressure may be used to determine the water level within the dishwasher when the pump is not operating and the suction pressure within the inlet conduit when the pump is operating. The inlet conduit, boss, pressure sensor, and pump housing may be integrally formed by injection molding and/or overmolding processes to reduce costs and the likelihood of leaks.
Dishwasher and method for operating a dishwasher
A dishwasher (2.1, 2.2) has at least one wash system for spraying wash liquid and at least one final-rinse system for spraying final-rinse liquid, wherein a control device (50) is provided for actuating the at least one wash system and/or the at least one final-rinse system in accordance with a predefined execution program. To save on resources during operation, and meet the requirements for hygienic operation, which are defined in hygiene guidelines applicable locally (in a territorially delimited manner) at least a first execution program is stored in the control device (50), the execution program created taking into account requirements for hygienic operation which are applicable in a first territorial region, and at least a second execution program is stored in the control device (50), the second execution program created taking into account requirements for hygienic operation which are applicable in a second territorial region.
ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM FOR HEATED WATER
A free-standing Energy Recovery System enables sanitary recovery of thermal energy with heat transfer from hot waste effluent to incoming domestic water. The source of the effluent may, for example, be conventional commercial ware-washing, clothes washing equipment, pasteurization and other industrial processes.
Method for filling a wash tub of a dishwasher with water
A method for filling a wash tub (12) of a dishwasher (10) with water, wherein the wash tub (12) comprises a water-collecting sump pot (16) that is fixed to an opening in its bottom and said method forms part of a program cycle for the operation of the dishwasher, said method comprising the subsequent steps of: (i) opening a water inlet (13) of the dishwasher and executing a static filling of the wash tub wherein a circulation pump of the dishwasher is kept deactivated, (ii) detecting a predetermined lower water level (22) inside the sump pot (16), and (iii) starting to measure the time for the static filling when said lower water level (22) is detected.
Dishwasher Moisture Removal System
A dishwasher appliance is provided, and includes an external housing containing a tub for receiving dishes. The dishwasher configured to receive water from a water source of a dwelling via an external supply line, which includes a valve for directing water between the tub and a water reservoir. Water received into the reservoir will be cooler than the water utilized in the tub to wash dishes. A water pump is connected to the reservoir so that during the drying cycle, the relatively cool water of the reservoir can be pumped through one or more conduits that are in contact with various surfaces of the tub so as to cool the tub interior and cause moisture contained therein to condense and drain out of the tub thereby efficiently enhancing the drying performance of the dishwasher.
