Dishwasher with discretely directable tubular spray elements
A method and dishwasher utilize one or more tubular spray elements that are both rotatable about longitudinal axes thereof and discretely directable by one or more tubular spray element drives between a plurality of rotational positions about the longitudinal axes thereof. Thus, through the provision of discretely directable tubular spray elements, fluid such as wash fluid and/or pressurized air may be focused in a wash tub, in many cases providing more efficient resource usage in the dishwasher.
DISHWASHER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A dishwasher and a control method thereof are disclosed. The dishwasher includes a tub accommodating an object to be washed, a spray arm rotatably provided inside the tub to spray wash water toward the object to be washed, a sump for storing wash water and collecting wash water sprayed into the tub therein, a filter separably mounted to the sump to remove foreign substances from wash water, a wash pump for supplying wash water stored in the sump to the spray arm, and a circulation passage for diverting at least a portion of the wash water supplied to the spray arm by the wash pump to the sump. After the dishes are washed, all of the wash water introduced into the wash pump is diverted into the filter. Foreign substances present in the wash water are collected in the filter and are discharged outside along with the wash water.
Dishwasher with combined liquid and air sprayers
A method and dishwasher utilize one or more sprayers that are coupled to both a liquid supply and an air supply through a common hydraulic circuit such that both liquid and pressurized air can be supplied to the one or more sprayers.
CONVEYOR WAREWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A CONVEYOR WAREWASHER
A conveyor warewasher has at least one washing zone, at least one rinsing zone and a conveyor apparatus. A camera system is arranged above or below or to the side of the conveyor apparatus and is configured in order capture at least one image of a portion of the conveyor apparatus, preferably continuously or at predetermined or determinable times and/or events. An evaluation device is configured in order to evaluate and determine on the basis of the at least one image whether, at the time of the image capture, washware of the following washware category was present in the portion of the conveyor apparatus: reusable plasticware, in particular in the form of plastic trays, plastic mugs, plastic bowls, plastic covers for plastic bowls, and/or plastic plates.
CONVEYOR WAREWASHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A CONVEYOR WAREWASHER
A conveyor warewasher has at least one washing zone, at least one rinsing zone and a conveyor apparatus. A device for sensing a loading of the conveyor apparatus, which device is configured in order to determine, continuously or at predetermined or determinable times and/or events, a loading of the conveyor apparatus with washware. A control device is configured in order to, during a learning or observation phase over at least one observation period or over a plurality of observation periods each relating to a washing shift or a washing day of the conveyor warewasher or a portion thereof, determine a chronological profile of the loading of the conveyor apparatus with washware to be conveyed, wherein the control device is configured in order to deduce a pattern or a regularity based on the determined chronological profile of the loading of the conveyor apparatus with washware.
DISHWASHER APPLIANCE WITH CAMERA FOR DETERMINATION OF SPRAY ASSEMBLY OPERATION
A dishwasher appliance includes a tub defining a wash chamber for receipt of articles for washing, a fluid delivery device configured for delivering wash fluid into the wash chamber, and a camera assembly mounted with a view of the wash chamber including a location where the fluid delivery device is configured for delivering the wash fluid. A controller is configured to obtain consecutive images of the wash fluid in the wash chamber, determine whether the fluid delivery device is providing acceptable delivery of the wash fluid into the wash chamber, wherein the determining includes using the consecutive images of the wash fluid to determine whether there are differences in the wash fluid present in the wash chamber, and initiate corrective action if the fluid delivery device is not providing an acceptable delivery of the wash fluid into the wash chamber.
DISHWASHER
The dishwasher of one embodiment comprises a tub, a sump, a wash pump, a rack, a nozzle disposed at a lower end of the rack, rotated by a repulsive force of wash water supplied from the wash pump, spraying wash water to a wash target, and having a magnetic object coupled to one end of the nozzle so that a first pole and a second pole of the magnetic object face a rotation direction of the nozzle, a sensing module that senses a magnetic force generated by the magnetic object generated by a rotation of the nozzle, and a controller receiving sensing results from the sensing module, and determining one or more of a rotation direction of the nozzle, a rotation speed of the nozzle and whether the nozzle rotates, to output an abnormality notification to a user or control wash water supplied to the nozzle through the wash pump.
Dishwasher and method for cleaning washware in a dishwasher
A dishwasher (1), in particular a commercial dishwasher (1), which is in the form of a box-type dishwasher and has a treatment chamber (2) which can be closed and in which washware can be treated in accordance with a predefined or predefinable treatment program, wherein a washware detector apparatus (51) is designed to detect the type of washware to be, wherein the washware detector apparatus (51) has an optical identification system, which is oriented toward the washware to be treated, and an evaluation device, wherein the optical identification system is designed to record at least a portion of the light reflected by the washware to be treated as a reflection image, and wherein the evaluation device is designed to automatically distinguish between different types of washware on the basis of the recorded reflection image, wherein the extent of the reflection provides information about the type of washware.
DISHWASHER COMPRISING A HYDRAULIC ARRANGEMENT FOR CLEANING A FILTER DEVICE, AND METHOD
A dishwasher includes a dishwashing container accommodating items to be washed. A first hydraulic arrangement is provided to wash the items by a dishwashing fluid and includes a spray device arranged in the dishwashing container, a sump arranged below the dishwashing container, a filter device configured to filter the dishwashing fluid in the dishwashing container and/or the sump, and a circulating pump configured to circulate the dishwashing fluid to the spray device. A second hydraulic arrangement is provided for cleaning the filter device by a cleaning fluid. The second hydraulic arrangement includes the filter device, the sump, a pump arrangement, a storage device for holding the cleaning fluid, a cleaning device for spraying at least one segment of the filter device with the cleaning fluid, and an auxiliary pump arranged between the storage device and the cleaning device for applying pressure to the cleaning fluid.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher may include a washing chamber and a wash arm arrangement having a wash arm rotatably arranged in the washing chamber, and a satellite spray device arranged on the wash arm. The dishwasher may include at least one sensor configured to sense a rotational position of the wash arm and a control unit configured to monitor consecutive sensed rotational positions of the wash arm. The control unit may be configured to calculate a rotational speed of the wash arm based on an elapsed time and a rotational distance between two sensed rotational positions, and may be configured to estimate a current rotational position of the wash arm based on an elapsed time since a previously sensed rotational position and the calculated rotational speed. The control unit may adapt the pumping intensity of a pump of the dishwasher based on the estimated current rotational position of the wash arm.
