RECIRCULATING CHEMICAL-SANITIZING WASHING MACHINE
A method for operating a recirculating chemical-sanitizing dishwasher includes filling a wash tank of the dishwasher with water, and performing a first cycle of washing by circulating the water through a wash chamber of the dishwasher. A partial drain is performed of a first amount of water from the wash tank, and new water (for example, rinse water) is added to the wash tank for a second amount of water approximately equal to the first amount. A second cycle of washing is performed by circulating the water through the wash chamber of the dishwasher.
DISHWASHER, METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISHWASHER, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
A dishwasher includes a pump facility to selectively supply washing liquor to first and second spray apparatuses, an intensive spray apparatus assigned to the first or second spray apparatus and brought into an activated or deactivated state by a switch valve, and a control apparatus for carrying out a washing program and for detecting a first pump flow while the first spray apparatus is supplied with washing liquor and detecting a second pump flow while the second spray apparatus is supplied with washing liquor, so as to form a current differential value as a function of the first and second pump flows and to ascertain a current switch state of the intensive spray apparatus as a function of the current differential value, a number of stored earlier differential values and a predetermined class differential value. The control apparatus adapts the washing program as a function of the current switch state.
Portable dishwasher
A dishwasher has a housing (10) with a wash chamber (20) and a top wall (204) with a non-planar surface (214;214″) facing downwardly into the wash chamber, the surface having portions (216,218; 226,228) facing downwardly and facing in different horizontal directions (H1,H2; HX,HY,HP,HQ). Nozzles (402) mounted within the wash chamber spray a liquid upwardly within the wash chamber. The surface portions redistribute the upwardly-sprayed water in horizontal directions to provide a more uniform washing action. A portable dishwasher may have a fresh water reservoir (422) and a used water reservoir (430) mounted in the housing beneath the wash chamber. The used water reservoir may be removably mounted in the housing so that the user can remove used wash water by removing the used water reservoir. The portable dishwasher can be used at a location remote from a sink.
Apparatus for separating chemistries in a door-type dishmachine
The present disclosure relates to a dishmachine that includes at least two tanks and methods of using the tanks to isolate, substantially isolate, or incrementally isolate different chemistries from each other during a cycle. The disclosed dishmachine design and method allows for the use of two different, and potentially incompatible, reactive, or offsetting chemistries to be used in the same dishmachine cycle.
APPLIANCE AND METHOD FOR OPERATION USING FLUID LEVEL DETECTION BY PATTERN RECOGNITION OF MOTOR CURRENT
An appliance and method for operating an appliance is provided. The appliance includes a pump configured to flow a volume of fluid, a flow nozzle configured to eject the fluid provided from the pump, and a motor configured to selectively operate the pump to flow the fluid through the flow nozzle. The method includes acquiring a dataset including a function of current magnitude and time corresponding to operation of a pump to flow a volume of fluid; determining an average current magnitude based at least on the dataset; determining a standard deviation based at least on the average current magnitude; comparing the standard deviation to a threshold to determine whether to transmit a control command based.
DISHWASHING APPLIANCE HAVING AN AIR-DRYING DEHUMIDIFICATION ASSEMBLY
A dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a pump, a spray assembly, a fluid recirculation duct, a cold water loop, a heat exchanger, and a tub fan. The fluid recirculation duct may extend from a path inlet to a path outlet to recirculate air within a wash chamber. The cold water loop may define a cold water nozzle disposed within the fluid recirculation duct to provide a condensing, cold-water flow into the fluid recirculation duct between the path inlet and the path outlet. The heat exchanger may be mounted to the cold water loop outside of the fluid recirculation duct to cool water within the cold water loop. The tub fan may be configured to selectively motivate an airflow from the path inlet to the path outlet.
Washing machine for washing articles equipped with an electric drive unit to operate electric motors
A washing machine having a first single phase electric motor, a second single phase electric motor and an electric drive unit for the electric motors. The electric drive unit is connected to power supply lines and comprises three first legs, each leg comprising a pair of switches. Electrical terminals of the first electric motor are connected to the first and second legs of the electric drive unit and electrical terminals of the second electric motor are connected to the second and third legs of the electric drive unit.
Stationary sealing gasket
The stationary gasket used in all kinds of dishwashers and similar household appliances, characterized in that; it ensures the sealing not by being compressed but by stretching and ensures sealing in both ways with a single part.
Home appliance and method for controlling thereof
A home appliance is provided. The home appliance includes a motor configured to execute a predetermined function of the home appliance, and a processor configured to determine an upper limit of noise of the home appliance based on ambient noise information of the home appliance and control a driving speed of the motor to have magnitude of noise of the home appliance equal to or less than the upper limit of the noise.
CONTROL METHOD OF DISHWASHER
A method of controlling a dishwasher including a tub, at least one spray nozzle, a rack, and a microphone, includes: spraying, by the at least one spray nozzle, washing water while the at least one spray nozzle is rotating, analyzing a characteristic of a sound wave input to the microphone, the sound wave being generated based on the washing water colliding with one or more washing targets in the tub, determining whether a washing target made of a set material is present among the one or more washing targets based on the analyzed characteristic, determining, based on determining that the washing target made of the set material is present, a location in which the washing target made of the set material is present according to the analyzed characteristic, and reducing an amount of impact applied to the washing target made of the set material by the washing water.
