The dishwasher includes a camera system configured to capture at least one image of the washware to be treated in the dishwasher. An evaluation device is further provided, which is configured so as to create a pattern relating to the temporal usage behavior of the operator of the dishwasher, in particular in the course of a profiling process based on the captured images.

A water-conducting domestic appliance includes a dispensing apparatus configured to dispense a cleaning agent into a dishwasher cavity of the water-conducting domestic appliance, and a controller configured to carry out a number of wash programs for washing items to be washed and to carry out a cleaning program for cleaning the water-conducting domestic appliance. The condition warning system includes a control system that monitors operational, safety or compliance parameters of an apparatus, and a light that illuminates a location below (or above) an operator's direct line of sight, and which is outside of the operator's direct line of sight. The control system and control methods include a punitive wash action lockout, an extended wash cycle time, and a deep clean wash cycle.

An auxiliary gray water supply device captures used wash water from a commercial warewashing machine for supply to a pre-rinse station without substantial modification of the commercial warewashing machine. The captured wash water and treatment agent are delivered to a pre-rinse station for pre-rinsing of dishes that will be washed within the commercial warewashing machine.

The support or the container includes a grid which prevents the medium from exiting the container. A spray nozzle controlled by a controller of the metering device dispenses water for solvating the medium. The medium dissolved in water and passing through the grid can be supplied to the washing or cleaning system via a supply device. The metering device also has a switching device that can be activated by the controller and has at least two different switching states for operating the spray nozzle in different operating modes.

A dish washing machine including a cabinet having a frame defining a periphery of the dish washing machine, with the cabinet having a top, a front, a rear and a pair of sides. A dish washing area is located within the cabinet and includes a nozzle for spraying a liquid onto dishes in the dish washing area. The front of the cabinet has a door for allowing access into the dish washing area. A top wash basin is on the top of the cabinet, with the top wash basin including a spout for water and a sink for accepting liquid therein. An automated dosing method for dosing a chemical in a tunnel dishwasher includes the steps of: detecting a rinse signal from a supplying solenoid valve for supplying a rinse water of the dishwasher; dosing a detergent amount apt to be inserted in a washing liquid, at a first load configuration of the dishwasher, for obtaining a washing mixture; and dosing a further detergent amount, apt to be inserted in the washing liquid for a restoration of the detergent in the washing mixture at an operating configuration of the dishwasher. The dosing step of a further detergent amount is performed periodically according to a predetermined time frequency.
