INTEGRATION OF UV LIGHT INTO AIRCRAFT AIR MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
An air management system of a vehicle having a conditioned area includes at least one duct defining a flow path for delivering air to the conditioned area and a sterilization system associated with the at least one duct. The sterilization system including at least one light source operable to emit a germicidal ultraviolet light into the flow path defined by the at least one duct to sterilize the air to be provided to the conditioned area.
Remote user interface commanded vehicle interior sanitization
A vehicle comprising an interior; a heat source in thermal communication with the interior; a source of ultraviolet light disposed to emit the ultraviolet light into the interior; and a controller in communication with the heat source and the source of the ultraviolet light, the controller configured to cause (i) the heat source to increase a temperature of the interior, (ii) the source of the ultraviolet light to emit the ultraviolet light into the interior, or (iii) both (i) and (ii) upon receiving a command from a remote user interface. The vehicle can further include a combustion engine that combusts fuel to propel the vehicle. The vehicle can further include a battery in electrical communication with the source of the ultraviolet light and in communication with the controller, the battery having a voltage.
Vehicle sanitizing shield
A sanitizing shield for a vehicle includes a separation surface configured to at least partially shroud a shielded seat. The separation surface has an inner seat facing side and an outer shielding side. The sanitizing shield includes a sanitization station coupled to the separation surface. The sanitizing shield can have one or more of a hand sanitizer dispenser, an air purifier, and/or an ultraviolet-C (UVC) sanitizer. The sanitizing shield provides for improved physical separation within the passenger cabin while enhancing the sanitization potential available to rear passengers of the vehicle.
VEHICLE INTERIOR PURIFICATION DEVICE
A vehicle interior purification device includes: first and second outlets disposed in a housing; first and second blower fans corresponding to the first and second outlets and disposed inside the housing; and a predetermined generation device for an airflow delivered from the first outlet and the second outlet, the predetermined generation device being disposed inside the housing. The predetermined generation device includes at least one of an electrostatic atomization device that generates a mist containing charged water particles and an ozone/ion generation device that generates ozone and negative ions by corona discharge. The first outlet and the second outlet are set to be disposed along a direction of travel of the vehicle. The first rotational speed of the first blower fan and a second rotational speed of the second blower fan are settable to different rotational speeds.
AIR PURIFIER
The present invention relates to an air purifier comprising a housing with an air inlet and an air outlet. A filter module, a power supply module, a drive module and a processing module are sequentially arranged in the housing along an airflow direction. The drive module gives a drive force to the air, so that the air enters into the housing from the air inlet, then in turn flows through the filter module, the power supply module, the drive and processing modules. The filter module filters out large particle pollutants in the air such as dust. The power supply module is used to supply power to the drive module and the processing module. The processing module is used to remove bacteria and organic pollutants in the air. Therefore, the degree of air purification can be improved, so that the air is purified to the ideal state as much as possible.
Chemical and Biohazard Vehicle Survivability Barrier Systems and Methods
A chemical/biological vehicle survivability barrier (CVSB) has an inflatable air beam shelter (IABS), also referred to as a tunnel-like enclosure, for inserting and coupling to the interior of a vehicle. The CVSB further has at least one air handling and power unit (AHPU) coupled to an exterior fitting of the IABS. The AHPU withdraws potentially contaminated air from inside the tunnel-like enclosure, filtrates the air by removing contaminants from the air withdrawn, and returns the filtrated air back into the tunnel-like enclosure.
VEHICLE CLEANING SUBSYSTEM AND METHOD OF CLEANING A VEHICLE
A vehicle subsystem for cleaning a vehicle cabin may include one or more light sources, a sensor module, and a vehicle cleaning control module. The one or more light sources are mounted in the vehicle cabin to project a collimated beam of light to contact one or more target surfaces in the vehicle cabin. The sensor module includes an array of one or more sensors mounted adjacent to the one or more target surfaces, to detect as sensor data the light reflected from the one or more target surfaces. The vehicle cleaning control module includes one or more processors, coupled to the sensor module, to execute a set of instructions to conduct, in response to the detection, specular reflection analysis of the sensor data, and determine, in response to the specular reflection analysis, a state of cleanliness of the vehicle cabin.
VENTILATION SEAT OF VEHICLE
A ventilation seat of a vehicle is proposed. The ventilation seat includes a ventilation duct assembly mounted to a seat of the vehicle and configured to suck indoor air and to discharge air toward a vehicle room or a surface of the seat, an air cleaning assembly arranged in an air flow path of the ventilation duct assembly and configured to clean air passing through the air flow path in operation thereof, and a controller configured to operate the ventilation duct assembly in operation of an air cleaning mode of the vehicle to generate an air flow flowing through the seat, and configured to operate the air cleaning assembly to allow the air flow of the ventilation duct assembly to clean air in the vehicle.
Sterilization System for Vehicle
A sterilization system for a vehicle includes an outer housing configured to rotate about a first shaft and having an opening formed to face an interior space, an inner housing installed inside the outer housing, exposed to the interior space through the opening, configured to rotate about a second shaft, and having a light transmitting portion through which sterilizing light is transmitted, a light source embedded in the inner housing and configured to irradiate the sterilizing light toward the light transmitting portion, and a driver configured to rotate the outer housing and the inner housing to irradiate the sterilizing light to the interior space and to change an irradiation angle of the sterilizing light.
Ventilation System for a Vehicle Interior
A ventilation system for a vehicle interior has an air guide for guiding air into the vehicle interior, an ionization device for ionizing the air in the air guide, an air outlet for transferring the air from the air guide into the vehicle interior, and a deflecting device in the air outlet, designed to produce an electric and/or magnetic field, for deflecting the ionized air.
