In at least some implementations, a motor vehicle window assembly includes a guide rail, a movable pane movable along the guide rail between open and closed positions and a defroster. First and second guide rail conductors are carried by the guide rail and adapted to be connected to a power source. First and second movable conductors are each electrically communicated with a respective one of the first and second guide rail conductors, each electrically coupled to the defroster and each movable with the movable pane relative to guide rail when the movable pane is moved between the open and closed positions. To provide power to the defroster, the movable conductors are in contact with the guide rail conductors when the movable pane is in the closed position and during movement of the movable pane between the open and closed positions.
VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE WITH STORING-TYPE ROOF
There are provided a pillar attached to a vehicle-body side separately from a roof, a pillar-side weather strip provided at the pillar, a vehicle-body-side weather strip provided at a vehicle-body side of a lower portion of the pillar, and an engagement portion provided at a lower end portion of the pillar-side weather strip, the engagement portion being configured to engage from an inward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the vehicle-body-side weather strip. The vehicle-body-side weather strip comprises a guide portion which guides the engagement portion of the pillar-side weather strip inward and downward, an engaged portion positioned at a lower portion of the guide portion, and a wall portion which contacts a hanging piece provided at the lower end portion of the pillar-side weather strip from an outward side in the vehicle width direction.

There are provided a front roof, a rear roof, a glass unit including a rear-window glass, a rear roof support link which openably supports the rear roof at a vehicle body, a front-roof support link mechanism which openably supports the front roof, the front-roof support link mechanism being connected to the rear roof support link such that closed states of both the front roof and the rear roof are achieved by means of the rear roof support link and the front-roof support link mechanism, and a glass-unit support link mechanism which is connected to the rear roof support link and configured to support the glass unit in a closed position.
DOOR WITH INTEGRATED WINDOW AND BLIND
An integrated window frame and blind unit includes a frame having an inner bezel and an outer bezel configured to sandwich a wall of a structure between them. A window pane may be installed to the outer bezel to cover an opening therein. A blind unit may be inserted through a similar opening in the inner bezel and attached to a header portion and/or sill portion of the frame. The inner and/or outer bezel may include snap features to effect the attachment.

The wiper device is provided with a wiper blade that is capable of passing over a boundary between the window panel and the secondary window panel to continuously wipe from the window panel to the secondary window panel.
